I've
been
looking
forward
to
Belgo
for
a
year,
I
booked
a
table
for
lobstoberfest
last
year
and
when
we
got
there
they'd
ran
out
of
lobster
and
not
even
said
anything,
so
I
left.
That
might
seem
dramatic
but
they
make
you
select
what
menu
you
want
when
you
book
online
so
it's
not
like
they
were
unaware.
Anyway,
this
time
was
a
bit
better,
they'd
ran
out
of
waffles,
well,
the
waffle
machine
broke...
Last
week...
And
clearly
all
the
waffle
machine
engineers
were
out
of
town
for
the
week.
Anyway,
the
fish
and
chips
was
pretty
damn
good,
the
tartare
sauce
was
off
the
scale
to
be
honest.
The
pan
fried
cod
was
apparently
average
sadly.
Both
area
were
cold,
it
doesn't
take
a
MasterChef
to
warm
the
plates
man,
come
on.
The
crêpes
were
offered
as
the
waffles
were
down,
I've
got
to
say
they
were
advertised
as
awesome,
awesome
they
were
not.
Cold
cardboard
springs
to
mind,
the
popping
chocolate
made
up
for
the
thoroughly
average
crêpes.
The
service
was
excellent,
friendly
staff
and
quick
delivery,
the
Belgian
beer
selection
is
fantastic
and
unlike
most
places,
no
premium
for
the
privilege.
That
said,
I
went
for
the
food
and
it
wasn't
great
so
I
won't
bother
going
back.
Expensive
averageness.
Can't
recommend.
