Restaurant Bar Belgian restaurant

👍👍 A fantastic range of Belgian beers and great staff, especially the manager but I can't remember her name, she is amazing. The food is also to die for. An absolute treat. You must give Belgo a try. People often mention great, good, Belgo, Belgian,

Walking around Nottingham I was really pleased to see a Belgo and could already taste the Mussels. I have been to the fantastic Soho one many times and found this on just as good. Nice big restaurant with friendly helpful staff, huge beer selection and lots of tasty things to eat. Prices are good too, my partner had the sausages and mash, I the Mussels. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A nice selection of different ales and beers but the menu can be a bit lacking and bland, well worth it if you want muscles but skip if you don't.

I've been looking forward to Belgo for a year, I booked a table for lobstoberfest last year and when we got there they'd ran out of lobster and not even said anything, so I left. That might seem dramatic but they make you select what menu you want when you book online so it's not like they were unaware. Anyway, this time was a bit better, they'd ran out of waffles, well, the waffle machine broke... Last week... And clearly all the waffle machine engineers were out of town for the week. Anyway, the fish and chips was pretty damn good, the tartare sauce was off the scale to be honest. The pan fried cod was apparently average sadly. Both area were cold, it doesn't take a MasterChef to warm the plates man, come on. The crêpes were offered as the waffles were down, I've got to say they were advertised as awesome, awesome they were not. Cold cardboard springs to mind, the popping chocolate made up for the thoroughly average crêpes. The service was excellent, friendly staff and quick delivery, the Belgian beer selection is fantastic and unlike most places, no premium for the privilege. That said, I went for the food and it wasn't great so I won't bother going back. Expensive averageness. Can't recommend.

Superb. Connoisseur beer menu and hearty food. Excellent service. Better than London Belgo.

If you love Belgian/Craft beers in a lively setting then Belgo is for you. Went on a busy Saturday night so wasn't expecting really great service but they delivered on this and more. The food tends to be more based on quality over quantity which was fine by me. The beer prices are what you would expect from a bustling area of the city centre. Enjoy.

Very good food and a great selection of beers. The wait staff weren't the most attentive especially as it was very quiet.

I always have great experiences here, the food and drink are both superb. The stake and mussels are both well above average. The staff are typically very attentive and polite. Both myself and my partner love Belgian food and drink and feel this restaurant does a very good job of replicating it in Nottingham. Overall a great place to dine and enjoy what’s great about Belgian cuisine.

Consistently delicious moules et frites and comprehensive selection of Belgian beers in a relaxed and authentically continental atmosphere. Never had a bad Belgo and the Nottingham experience is true to form. Love this place.

The mussels with tomato sauce were really really nice!! We even finished the soup, didn’t leave a single drop😋it should be TEN stars!! We went there in the early afternoon so in the pic it doesn’t look very crowded. It’s a really cool place!! Strongly recommend!!
