I had a great experience here. Food and customer service are excellent. Staff are very attentive, kind and welcoming. The food tasted authentic, and was well prepared. Good Hong Kong style design inside. Next time have to try the beer bar under the ground floor. Highly recommended.

This is the first time I have had Vietnamese cuisine and it was a treat! The food was lovely - fresh salad leaves, meat full of flavour and tender - which blends well on the taste buds. The restaurant decor taking you to a different place. I'll certainly be going back.

27/03/22 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars, well deserved. Thank you for your kind hospitality yesterday on Mothering Sunday 🌺 We, my son and I visited for a refreshing Peach tea 🍑 🍵 It was delicious and the service was first class 👌👏 A special thank you for serving us on a particularly busy day, Mother's Day. The atmosphere, setting is so lovely. 💚 Definitely highly recommend. Plan on visiting again soon. Love, Mary and Michael ☮️

Fantastic Vietnamese restaurant, pleasantly surprised. Staff are extremely attentive and very friendly. Menu has just enough choice and every meal looks lovely. My fiance and I had Pho soup which was a lovely winter warmer. As pictured you are given a separate plate to add as much chili's, basil leaves, beansprouts and lime as you want. Plenty of meat in the pho soup which is hard to come by nowadays. My sister ordered the ribs that were technically a side, but she doesn't eat much and that was more than enough for her. She said they were top class too. The building itself is quite interesting too, quite rustic inside with multiple floors showing different creative styles from the restaurant owners. Fried banana with coconut ice cream is a must. Flan was also quite nice. Reasonably priced, a great experience, definitely going again.

I have been here several times. The food here is consistently good. The pho is flavourful, and the portion is generous. I especially like the bbq pork rib with hoisin sauce. Definitely a firm favourite in Nottingham.

Casual place with unexpectedly good food. Service was good, and the menus were very well designed. We shared a bamboo basket, not sure how authentic it was but everything tasted great, the chicken skewers and tofu especially. Would love to come back to try a main. The desserts were so pretty and light as well, so also a great destination for coffee and cake.

Lovely place, interior is cool! Food was okay, Pho didn't have much flavour unfortunately, however deep fried soft shell crab was nice! I didn't enjoy my coffee, although that could be just preference as I have never tried coconut ice coffee! Japanese roll cake was okay, I liked it looks the most, taste was not groundbreaking. I will try this place again for sure as I want to try other menu items! Tried almost all cakes on menu and all are amazing!

Went to have dinner with friends and it was average experience for food. My friends have dietary requirements such as vegan/vegetarian, egg allergies and stuff. Could not have any choices but to order salad. I had BBQ chicken with rice and it wasn't as great as it looked. Portion size is good and filling. Drinks are amazing and cakes are unique and tasty. Although food is not something I will come here for. Hope this helps to all fellow vegan/vegetarians.

I love this place. Love the decor, and great service. The only thing that is missing is a vegetarian option from the menu. I eat fish once in a while, so it is fine, but would be happier with vege food. Oh, yes, and the music. I wish it could be Vietnamese to feel the proper Vietnamese atmosphere. Nothing major tho

Coco Tang is one of the best places for food and drinks in Nottingham. The food is absolutely delicious and so fresh tasting. It would be great to have a few more vegetarian/vegan options, but what they do have is exceptional quality. The cocktail menu very fun. The drinks are quirky and themed, but they do not let this affect the quality which is great to see. I would definitely recommend trying the cakes for dessert, or coming here separately for coffee and a cake. It would be great little brunch date! The staff also add to the experience. I wanted a pina colada on my last visit and even though they had run out of the ingredients for version on the menu, they offered to make me a classic one instead.

The Vietnamese cuisine is delicious, and my favorite dish is the Vietnamese-style beef pho, followed by the Vietnamese spring rolls. The other dishes are also very tasty, and they truly capture the authentic flavors of Vietnam. They have beautifully decorated cake rolls here that are both adorable and delicious. I have tried several varieties of cakes, and they are all equally outstanding. The service is not bad, although the tables are a bit cramped. The overall environment is average, but the quality of the food makes up for it and saves the overall experience to a certain extent.

Great place for anytime of the day. We particular love the egg coffees! The cakes and sweet treats are all really well made and very pretty. Main meals are great too, although more expensive that other vietnamese restaurants in the city. Great atmosphere inside and gorgeous decor throughout. If you can - I would recommend getting a table upstairs!

Amazing Asian food here, highly recommend pineapple rice, and basically anything from the menu. They do great coffees, with a little variety of different beans. Everything is served in lovely locally made pottery (you can buy them too). Only downside is having to go back downstairs to order the food from the small coffee shop at the front. Would be nice to have the option to order on an app/website or for servers to take your order at the table.

We had a lovely meal here in town. I had the beef noodle bowl and shared a portion of the prawn rice pancakes. All the food was delicious especially the prawn cakes, and the spring rolls which came in the bowls. Which I would come back for. The atmosphere is great and very authentic. There is not a great selection of vegetarian options but the tofu bowl my partner had she loved it. We would definitely come back. They don't take bookings so make sure you get there with time to spare during busy periods.

Honestly one of my favourite places! The staff are always lovely and accommodating and the interior is cool and quirky. I lived in Vietnam for a year and the food at Coco Tang is authentic and fresh. The drinks are also heavenly with a huge cocktail menu to pick from. Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nice vibe. Was good. The drinks were amazing. The food was nice but would have been better a little warmer.

The restaurant is clean and simple with there menu. You know what you ordering with photos, service was quick despite how busy it is. The seabass dish i had felt like a normal dish you can order down the pub apart from having rice with it. The drinks seem to be disappointing with their cocktails, of cause they do normal beers. 7/10

Nice place, interesting decor, food was tasty but veggie noodle main was not as flavourful as I was expecting. Fun drinks. Fun desserts. A little expensive and also the service charge is annoying especially as some staff were unpleasant but others were really nice which rounded the service out to average at best. Staff cleared tables too quickly for my liking.

The environment is nice, showcasing the owner’s dedication to high-quality coffee equipment and an attractive bar setup. The service was attentive. My food was delivered promptly and tasted good. However, be prepared for potential waiting times during the lunch rush.”

Went in for a cake and coffee and both were super nice. The interior decoration is really cool and you get different vibes for their cafe, restaurant and bar. Even the bathroom is worth a photograph!

A place I haven’t been to in years and has changed since it’s pre-Covid basement bar days (though that still stands) - this time we had a work lunch on their sunny terrace and absolutely everything we ate and drank was delicious! Between 7 people we had 2 sharing platters (meat and fish), sweet potato fries, side of rice, side of pork ribs and a tofu noodle bowl and it was the perfect amount. The sharing platters would definitely serve 3 with a side. The drinks were all delicious and so inventive. From a cocktail with a handmade bubblegum ‘soap bar’ to the coffee coconut and banana frappe, can’t recommend it here enough! Friendly staff too and huge area though it does get busy, even when we visited on a Tuesday lunch.

A really nice cafe that does a selection of hearty Vietnamese food, beer, cakes and cocktails. The food we had was a sizable main meal portion and really tasty. And the cakes looked and tasted amazing. I can definitely see us coming back for beers and cake at least and the food if we are in the area and in need of it.

I had a great time at this Vietnamese restaurant! The atmosphere was spot on, creating a wonderful dining environment. However, I must admit that the soup in the raw sirloin pho was a bit too salty for my taste. Despite that, the overall experience was quite enjoyable. I'd still recommend giving it a try. 4 stars! 🍜🌟🌟🌟🌟
