Nice bar in town. Like cocktails, wish we were there when it's two for one though. Service friendly.

Staff are lovely with knowledge of local areas. The food was amazing, and the actual place looks amazing. Chill music (no lift music) made me feel welcome. Would reccomend

Brilliant cafe in the centre of Nottingham and near other amenities. Good customer service and food. Was greeted at the door and me and my friend chose to sit near the back of the cafe where it was quiet. My friend went for a full vegan breakfast and was delighted with her choice whereas I went for the American pancakes. Both were equally delicious and wasn’t too expensive. The iced coffee was brilliant even though it’s not on the menu, it could be asked for. All in all, a brilliant cafe and you get what you pay for.

Glad we booked as this place does fill up quickly. I had the Chorizo Hash - fancied something a little different. Very tasty, the herbs and spices leave your mouth feeling alive. Reasonable prices. Service was borderline slow, but forgivable when considering the quality of the food. Will certainly come again.

Pleasant decor and nice menu which was well cooked and nicely presented. Prices were reasonable Not given 5* as service was a bit casual - slow walking, not particularly friendly and sometimes a bit numb - ask for water at the table of 2 people and they bring one portion. A bit slack

I usually love this venue for drinks - it’s in a great location and has a good atmosphere. However, we decided to visit for brunch on Saturday and I was so disappointed. I ordered the chorizo hash which was supposed to have two poached eggs on top, but neither were runny. The meal was dry on top and greesy at the bottom. No one came to ask how our meals were, but when they came to take away my plate (which was over half full), I explained that it was inedible. The staff member did said she’s tell the chef but offered nothing to resolve the situation. They went to get our bill, put it on the table without saying a word and left again. We were left sitting there awkwardly waiting to pay and during this time noticed that the prices on the online menu were less than what we had been charged, in one case £1.50 for more a cold sub (which should have been served warm). The staff member didn't come back to our table so we had to call over someone else to pay our bill.

Been to this great brunch spot numerous times and I’ve never been disappointed. A great space for families, couples, friends or if you’re on your own, the food is always made to a great standard (when I’ve ordered breakfast). Service is excellent too, the staff have always been kind and attentive, even when they’ve been really busy! Overall, it’s a great cafe and I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area looking for a relaxed place to eat.

A really amazing place to eat. The food blew me away, the ladies serving were very friendly and welcoming, and it's just a nice place to sit with a glass of wine. I could not recommend it highly enough, and I will definitely be back. The pan-fried chicken has my recommendation.

Had a great dining experience at Copper for Christmas meals (booking must be made for Christmas crackers with tiny little gifts in). All of us have 3 course meal and the meals certainly met our expectation. My selections: 【Starters】 Prawn Cocktails - Nice aroma of the cocktails perfectly blended into the prawns 【Mains】 Christmas Dinner - Standard choice for a Christmas meal (Other mains included: Roasted Cod Loin) 【Desserts】 Christmas Pudding - Interesting taste of using both ginger and cinnamon as the main flavours - a very ambitious attempt (Other desserts included: Chocolate Fondant) The service was lovely and we enjoyed the vibe of the atmosphere, too.

Ordered a oat coffee as I have dairy intolerance, and the people I was with ordered regular coffees. Our waitress told us the wrong one was oat, and then brought the oat one 5 minutes later. I had to pay extra for my milk substitution. Food was ok, it looked pretty but I felt that it was a bit expensive and was slightly bland. I had the eggs royale which was around £13-14 and I would not get it again. The atmosphere is nice, the bar is nicely decorated and the tables are nice. The toilets smell very fishy and strange. I would go here for coffee again but it would not be my first choice.

Came here for work Xmas do. Booking was at 5 pm but didn't get sat down until about 5.45 due to the party before us were an hour late so we just had to awkwardly stand in the doorway. But they did give us complimentary prosecco to help numb the pain and the cold. The food was lovely expect the sprouts were raw. The chocolate fondant was to die for.

We were a party of eleven with no booking and well looked after by the manager. We enjoyed our Sunday lunches very much, we also chose to take up the two course offer.

I don't usually leave bad reviews but it seemed appropriate to do so on this occasion. I was with my mother visiting Nottingham, on Saturday afternoon, when we decided to eat at Copper's. Having been there several times, I wanted my mother to have a good experience too. The manager very nicely, made us sit upstairs where we were welcomed by a blonde waitress who from the moment she laid eyes on us, gave us nothing but a weird hostile. We ordered two sandwiches (they were great by the way) but for my mum the portion was a little too much. I very kindly asked the waitress if we could take away half of the remaining sandwich. When it comes to a take away, we certainly did not expect it to be put in a gift box with a thank you note. But we also did not expect the waitress to place on our table an industrial cling film roll and a bag, so that we could wrap the sandwich ourselves, in front of the other speechless customers. That was an absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. I do understand customer service can be challenging and pleasing every single customer is impossible. Having said that, eating out should be the time for a customer to be treated nicely and feeling welcomed. All we felt was that we were intruding and disturbing. I will not visit Copper's again nor recommend it to others. I just hope this waitress will deliver a better service so you don't lose more customers

We threw my parents a joint surprise 60th in Coppers function room and we couldn’t fault the service!! The room is a lovely layout and you also have your own bar and toilets up there. From the moment I enquired, I always received fast responses and they also rang me the week of the party to make sure I had everything I needed, if I wanted the room setting out a certain way and if there was specific alcohol I wanted behind the bar. 10/10 couldn’t fault a single thing and we will definitely use them again

We had a very good breakfast, the food was delicious, Josh was very kind, and since we are Muslims and don't eat bacon, they respected our not wanting to eat it, replaced the plates with other new plates, and as an apology they discounted 20% of the price, thank you very much! Best server I’ve ever seen. Thank you very much. ❤️

A great bar/cafe for a pre-theatre meet up. I didn't try the food but the beer was kept well and reasonably priced, my friend enjoyed her hot chocolate. Only downside was the wait to be served as both waiting staff took it in turns to have a break whilst it was busy and other customers were ordering cocktails.

Came here for breakfast, was so nice and a fair price! Had the brunch burger which is in the picture and my sister had the traditional breakfast! Must admit the traditional breakfast looked so good and was a bit jealous. All in all was a great meal and really cool place to be in, will be coming back soon!

The atmosphere is fine but the food has a lot of room for improvement. The poached eggs didn't have runny yolks and the quinoa bowl had no more than three tablespoons of quinoa. That's a ridiculously little portion for £7.

We had the veggie Sunday roast here yesterday and it was delicious. Two thick slices of nut roast, really tasty stuffing and good quantities of all the veg. Plus plenty of gravy! Would definitely recommend!

Went for Sunday lunch yesterday, first ever time of visiting here. This place was recommended to me by another establishment that couldn’t accommodate my booking. However I was underwhelmed by the food which although was plentiful, was a little bland. We had the roast dinner three course menu. Good value at £18 per head but potatoes were not crispy and fluffy inside and calamari was a tad greasy. However nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Good for students on a budget.

Breakfast was lovely, but the service was the let down. Waited ages for the bill, we had to ask for it and the lady just put it on our table and walked away. So then we hand the money over to another passing member of staff, waited for a couple mins for the change and ended up just leaving as we had already waited around 30 mins after eating for anyone to acknowledge us. Definitely recommend for a nice breakfast, hopefully we just came in on a bad day

We were pleased with our meals however I would suggest the restaurant that the mushroom be chopped up. The mushroom in my meal was visually less appealling and it was overly watery. I would like to commend the restaurant for implementing the COVID19 measures. Hand sanitizer was at disposal, guests were prompted to keep social distancing at all times!

Nice little place to grab some pints / cocktails or hot drinks for those that don't drink / are pregnant. Pleasant atmosphere with great bar and door staff!
