It's
been
about
three
years
since
we
visited
for
the
carvery,
and
we
were
looking
forward
to
going
out
for
a
meal
together
as
a
family.
The
trip
was
pretty
much
a
disaster.
When
we
arrived,
there
was
no
record
of
a
table
booking
we'd
made.
After
that
was
resvoled,
we
were
then
informed
there
would
be
no
carvery
as
there
had
been
a
problem,
which
would
have
been
good
to
know
in
advance
but,
seeing
how
they
failed
to
record
our
reservation,
we
weren't
to
know
until
after
the
30
minute
drive.
We
were
told
we
could
only
order
from
the
menu.
This
took
nearly
an
hour
for
food
to
arrive,
and
when
it
did,
my
daughters
food
wasn't
delivered
as
it
had
not
been
recorded.
They
hastily
put
her
food
together,
but
the
food
that
I
ordered
was
pretty
awful
in
both
presentation
and
taste.
For
a
£10
breakfast,
this
is
what
I
received
(see
photo).
Greasy,
gristly,
and
barely
warm.
I've
spent
£5
on
a
breakfast
from
Tesco
and
enjoyed
it
more
than
this.
My
wife
has
an
allergy
to
milk,
so
she
asked
for
the
vegan
cheese
on
her
burger.
When
it
arrived,
they
had
no
cheese,
so
she
had
nothing
on
it.
What
I
will
say,
as
someone
who
has
worked
in
this
business,
is
that
they
made
the
best
of
a
bad
situation.
They
did
give
my
little
one
a
baby
food
pouch
to
apologise
about
the
wait
and
problems.
They
were
doing
the
best
they
could
with
what
was
happening.
With
that
said,
it
was
a
pretty
dreadful
experience
overall.
It
was
a
massive
waste
of
money,
and
I
would
have
just
rather
gone
anywhere
else.
I
hope
problems
are
fixed
for
the
team
there,
but
the
food
quality
is
certainly
not
reflected
in
the
price,
and
for
our
first
family
day
out
in
a
while,
it
wasn't
a
memorable
time.
