Fabulous Boxing Day Family Meal and awesome service! The festive menu was beautiful and the gluten free menu was amazing. Such friendly service by Chloe (nothing was too much trouble, even the change in desserts due to availability, which she prepared herself) and Josh was the same, nothing was too much trouble, along with service which was delivered in a professional manner. The chef Rayon delivered outstanding tasty food in a timely manner, even though there were large family bookings present in the restaurant. You all ended our Christmas festivities on a high....thank you all so much! From Clare Leigh-Tonks with the booking named under Rebecca Lane x

Booked a table for 8 for a birthday meal, drinks took over half a hour to come out. Waited forever for the food when it did come some on the food was cold. 2 meals came out about 15 minutes after the first so some had almost finished before some had started. Chips stated seasoned and wernt, the fillet burger didn’t have onion rings on a stated. Felt for some of the staff as they were clearly trying their best but definitely will not be returning. Very over priced for what you get. Emailed as requested and never heard back

First visit to this pub. Amazing food, polite and friendly staff service was prompt. I had the mixed grill and it was amazing, by far the best that I have had from any Greene King. We have booked to have our wedding meal here. Gorgeous place. Nice and quiet. Amazing food. Great selection. Perfect.

Lovely food! Really fast and friendly service, all staff were very accommodating to be breastfeeding, asked for a table out of the way and it was and even right next to baby changing! Alot better than it used to be! Thankyou so much guys!

The coopers Brook is one of the best places for food, staff and atmosphere. I had the tomahawk steak and it is to die for, as well for the rack of ribs. Lovely staff. Lovely place. Would recommend.

Restaurant was virtually empty must of been 18 people present. We waited 20 minutes for drinks and to place an order. We had to go to the bar to see where the drinks were, we waited a further 35 minutes before the dreaded happening, cold food was coming out as we were just leaving. We stated the food was cold and no apology was forthcoming. On this we departed as did a party of 10 ladies who were waiting to place desert orders. Sorry won’t be returning in the near future. Lack of staff, We could have helped ourselves to drinks at anytime as the bar was unsupervised. The main reason for the visit today was to book the function room for Boxing Day, not now. We have been here numerous times and this must be the worst of our visits.

Booked their upstairs room for my father's funeral wake. The staff were lovely and helpful. The food was really nice. Everyone was impressed and had as good a time as they could under the circumstances.

The food was as expected and was fine. The problem is with the number of staff so had to eat in the bar. A family member is in the local hospital so called in on new years day night after visiting and they were doing limited service. Again on the 2nd they were also short staffed. Will probably give them another go as it is very convenient for the hospital.

Wow, I wish I'd got the steak. No, I thought, I'll get the salmon with tiger prawns, at nearly 17 quid I thought, that'll be decent. It wasnt, it was a greasy little salmon tragedy with 2 inedible prawns on a bed of grease surrounded by a kebab shop salad with no dressing. I tell a lie, the dressing was on the table, heinz salad cream. To say i was dissapointed was an understatement, to say wetherspoons, half a mile away, would have done a better job for a third of the price would be a disservice to wetherspoons. This pub clearly relies on its proximity to a premier inn for a supply of wide eyed visitors to fork out 5.50 for a pint before they check google maps and notice theres a perfectly good high street full of eateries within walking distance. To summarise, shamefull garbage. Photos provided, the liquid around the salmon is oil. By way of contrition, the staff were very nice .

We only discovered this pub recently, and I'm so glad we did, it is the best greene king pub I have visited. The staff are always so lovely and accommodating, especially the male host and there is one specific waitress who is great and makes sure you are having the best experience. The food and service are always brilliant. Would definitely recommend

It was my birthday treat. And escorts to the back of the pub where there was one other couple quite elderly it was a bit cold in that area, I felt like I was put in the naughty corner for not booking a table. The elderly couple had to put there coat back on while eating. Yet there was plenty of empty tables at the front of the pub and it clearly felt a lot warmer in this area. Which in itself put a dampner on the meal. I left half of it as I just want to leave. Other than this the steak and kidney pie was lovely. And this is the reason for my rating.

We didn't eat so I cant comment on the food. But the barmaid was rude and very ignorant. Left my drink where she poured it, gave me a single gin and charged for a double and denied when I politely asked for a double. Asked me what I was staring at. So rude. Poker faced and so unwelcoming

The portion size was terrible, three onion rings, handful of chips and a burger. Could have gotten better value at McDonald’s. The staff weren’t attentive. Never checked if we were okay, needed more drinks, or enjoyed food, had to walk around the restaurant to find them. We asked for separate bills when we got there, and they put it all on one bill which caused complications and confusion for the bar staff at the end of the night. Staff had no idea how to do use the till or put the food on separate bills when we actually managed to find them. Not good value for money. Not happy at all. Pictures available of meal if someone would like to contact me. Thanks. I was asked to get in touch about my review, only for the email to be unaccepted and promptly ignored. Only advice I can give is DO NOT GIVE YOUR CUSTOM to the Coopers Brook. They apparently aren’t bothered about customer experience. You’ll be disappointed and your feedback ignored.

I have eaten and had a few drinks at Coopers brooks on several occasions. What I look out for is great customer service and that is exactly what you get, the staff are very helpful and deliver service with a lovely smile. I personally had the chicken sharer and a steak and this was worth the value and cooked to perfection. This will now be a popular choice for me and my family.

Waited ages and food was cold and to the lowest standard I've had in a very long time. Although everything was refunded which was appreciated. Its a shame somewhere so local feel it's OK to serve this standard. I Hope it can change as the grounds and internal decor is quite pleasant.

We went to a private birthday party here. Wonderful place to spend a happy evening. The laid on buffet was superb, such lovely food, and very plentiful. Huge car park, very friendly and helpful staff, and to top it all, a premier inn next door. Brilliant night out.

Not the best. Food took 40 minutes to come out, then one of our medium rare steaks came out well done so we re ordered and waited 15 minutes for a fresh one to come back out. My steak sandwich was very basic. Overall a disappointing dining experience

Staff were very nice but food itself was a bit of a let down. They didn't have 2 of the 4 dishes originally ordered so had to settle for alternatives. Out of the 4 meals were were lovely but the others just OK, nothing wrong as such but nothing special either. We didn't bother ordering dessert based on the mains.

Visited on Father’s Day. It was very busy but the food and the service were spot on. I had a steak and it was amazing, juicy and cook perfectly. We have my brothers birthday coming up so I booked in to have it her. Would definitely recommend

Food was so so, I had the mixed grill, stake was char and undercooked to what I asked for, I'll be honest too much food, they could cut the chicken portion in half and you wouldn't miss it, chicken was bland. Partner and a parent has seafood mix, and both said prawns where undercooked and fish bland. General atmosphere was quiet, only a few dinners for 12noon on a Sunday. Old dry chip on the floor under the table showed they hadn't cleaned the floor very well. Otherwise tables and general where tidy. Staff friendly and polite. Speed of delivery was good.

My m8 had grilled chicken and grilled veg the chicken was very small and looked very lonely on his plate of so called grilled veg. I felt embarrassed as I was paying for his meal. I had scampi and chips which was OK. The last time I went there was before covid we had a good wholesome meal but very disappointed this time

Lovely knowledgeable staff, particularly about the gluten free options. Food was great and the kids loved it too.

Sunday dinner back in the pub!!! No Forster's but never mind. Lovely grub good size portions & left with a full belly, desert no doubt helped that. Staff are great, service was good & the price was as expected if a little on the strong side. Would recommend and will be back.

Spent 6 weeks in premier inn next-door so I ate in the Cooper every evening and loved the food, went through the whole menu and never had a bad meal. The staff were lovely 👌

The food I'm afraid is poor .had gammon massively salty unable to eat massive chunk of hard sour pineapple not edible. Changed it for fajitas vegetables over salty sloppy honestly chef or management should taste the food they serve .the staff need to understand that as they walk into kitchen you can here every word . Very unprofessional. Would not recommend or go back .
