Do not organise a group food booking here! The service was shocking, the meal took ages to arrive and once it did only half of the table was served (the first group had finished eating by the time that the others were served). The meal was undercooked, the portion sizes were all over the place and the food was not prepared properly. Furthermore We were squashed onto a table way too small for our group size! The bar staff were lovely though

The place looks great and atmosphere is really nice and happy. But. A free table, without any visible notice or sign, suddenly became reserved and in the middle of the drinks we needed to come up and leave. The service on a bar was slow, by an order of "sexy girls first, all others disregarded", needed to speak twice with a waitress, on the second time she called a manager that prepared drinks for us (I was waiting there for a service for 15 min). And only then, I realized that they have an app that you better order via it (maybe it could be faster, have no idea). There is a way for improve in service guys! Drinks were really high quality and really tasty (I took espresso martini, amaretto limonnade and Estrella beer)

I usually love to come here, went to celebrate my 21st birthday yesterday, had a table booked and everything. Waited 45 minutes to figure out what was going on as the menu had everything food-wise crossed out other than pizzas. When we ordered some pizza they came and told us they were out of that too but had everything else in stock? They had crossed the menu out because they couldnt keep up with the brunches that were booked ontop of regular service. At this point the energy in my group was ruined as we had waited those 45 minutes for drinks as well. My birthday was pretty much ruined, we got a refund and left.

We went for a bottomless brunch, not worth the increased cost compared to other places like slug and lettuce in the market square. The food was very basic at best, no chips with the burger and the burgers were low quality. The staff were good to accommodate us even tho they were very busy and there was not enough staff on as it was taking over 10 mins to get a round of drinks in 3 pints of beer and a cocktail. It was an experience that we have tried here, but dont think we will be coming back as other places are more to our liking in relation to service speed and food quality.

Oh my lord. After working our way through the menu to decide what they actually had in stock we were left with a rather limited but potentially exciting dinner. However it turned up and our faces all dropped, what on earth was on each plate. As shown below we thought was a kind of popcorn chicken, it was not and surprised us all as it was meant to be a calamari. Now I ordered chicken katsu burger. It was the best on the list (they had in stock). I waited in anticipation for the arrival of this delight…. When I opened my bun to find rice on the chicken which when pointed out to the waitress “yes it’s a chicken katsu curry…oh wait no you’re not meant get rice” it was swiftly whipped away. We ordered the 15 chicken wings and got 5 which when bitten into judging by how pink they were the other 10 managed to escape between the fryer and our table. After waiting for a further 10 minutes for our food to reappear that was meant to be re cooked (we think it escaped with the other 10 wings) Value for money - zero However we all have laughed so much about how bad it was the last 2 hours. Priceless. Well almost £100 badly spent.

Not our happy place. There was only us in there at 22.15, the price of a Guinness was very high and no cash accepted. Not for us older generation. It was clean, nice music playing but not our cup of tea.

Had afternoon tea with my partner here on the weekend. Never been to afternoon tea before and tbh we were both expecting sandwiches and little cakes etc but it was hot food which was good because the weather was horrible. Our afternoon tea came with cocktails, we were allowed to order any with the red heart, we both chose zombies. The first course we had sliders, corns dogs, chicken strips and loaded fries. The food was really hot which was a pleasant surprise. We thought that was it but then outcome desert. The dessert was brownies, cookie dough and these passion fruit cheesecakes. Now I'm giving 4 stars solely based on the dessert. The staff and service were fantastic, but the passion fruit cheesecakes were disgusting. 1) why were they so sour? Passion fruit is mean to be sweet 2) they had curdled. Yuck! But apart from that I do recommend the the afternoon tea.

Been for bottomless brunch on a Saturday twice now with the alcohol package £35 each. Fast service lots of booze great value for money. Food was good too. I recommend based on the last experience. Lost a star as glasses were cloudy both times. (Dishwasher most likely).

Obviously they don't do any modern slavery awareness and training here as the shot girls walk around with a sign saying that if they sell up, they can go home, as if they're forced to be there. Nothing screams desperation on a quiet night like a tacky marketing ploy. Food isn't great either - never had such dry burgers in my life.

One of the only places that stayed open, after an Iron Maiden concert, literally on their doorstep! Might not be the best night to judge them by, but we had no complaints.

We frequently pop into revs for a quick lunch and a drink or two . This was the second one we went in after being told the other nottingham one was full until 7pm .. it was around 1.30. We walked into this one and again most of the tables were already pre booked .. we managed to find a table only to be told it was only burgers and sandwiches on the menu for walk-ins. We 2 children ls burgers and a full size one ... in the picture is one of each, how is the £6 difference justified. Oh and only one thing vegetarian to choose for my niece was not ideal.

I went to Revolution with a group of work colleagues last Friday for drinks. We were surprised to see that Happy Hour was on 21:00 (much later than other bars) so we made the most of this! Staff were very friendly, and there's a huge variety of drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic), so everyone is catered for. Service did seem a little slow (even when it was fairly quiet for a Friday night) but the drinks were superb. Plenty of spaces to sit, and they also came around with shots for the table (which was great fun). Bouncers were also present on the door after 21:00, so it does feel very safe.

We held a brunch event at Revolution Hockley on Sunday 4th June and we cannot recommend the Is place enough for Events. From the very beginning with enquiring to set up, throughout & finish the staff we amazing! Even helping with bespoke dessert trays, Welcoming to all our guests and making sure their drinks were never empty. We look forward to working there again 100/10 and a special thank you to Beth & Luke for all their help.

Order a shot stick, 2 out of the 6 flavours matched. Asked at the bar and the explanation was we’re probably out of them flavours, and then got on with what they was doing. Paid for flavours I wanted not random shir

We hired this venue for a small work conference for fifty people. It was adequate and great for what we needed. However, we had noise from the bar, and there wasn't a division between the hired space and the public space.

Had a lovely lunch with a dear friend. Food delicious. Especially the onion barjis. The staff are very friendly and very attentive. Spacious but cosy, clean, good atmosphere, nicely decorated. Highly recommend. Good value for money.

It took ages to be served, even though the staff was doing their job well. They had loads of orders and they were mostly cocktails. Perhaps they were understaffed. Also we could not order certain cocktails as they run out of slush ice and substituting it with ice cubes was not an option, as the till would not let you sell it. I think you could still workaround it somehow, but hey. There was a lady laying on the floor, not sure whether due to a medical problem or an alcohol overdose (awaiting an ambulance). The music was OK and the staff was friendly in general.

We came in august but kept forgetting to write the review as you do! Better late than never….. we did a cocktail masterclass with Nelly and it’s the most fun we’ve had for ages! We were a bit nervous because there was only 2 of us but Nelly made us feel right at home! His drink knowledge is second to none. He was funny, friendly, very knowledgeable and made our entire weekend! He had us in stitches. Sorry it’s so late we just wanted to say thank you for the lovely drinks, putting us at ease, teaching us new skills and so many laughs!

I loved my cocktail, the ambience was lovely, I was just a bit disappointed with my fries, I did ask the assistant manager to perhaps provide a discount or a voucher for nex time, but that wasn't ascertained due to me not complaining during my meal but how could I they , they were really busy and the waiter was new. I would like this maybe to be rectified? ❤

Came here for a cocktail making class for my Hen Do. Nelly was a fantastic host and bartender! We had such a laugh. The class was such good value for money, I would recommend it to anyone for a Hen Do, birthday or other special occasion. Thank you, for making it such a fun and memorable experience 😊

Went cocktail making for my friend's birthday. Drinks were amazing! But the food arrived quite late. Think there were staffing problems? I wouldn't recommend eating there - it was £20 per head and I had to eat my food 30 minutes after my friends had finished.

👍👍 Absolutely amazing! I went to have lunch on my graduation day with my friends. Food was very flavourful and cocktails were nice. Special dietary options are available and you always get 2-4-1 cocktails. Service was really friendly and approachable. Ambience and music is just cherry on top.
