Absolutely ridiculous amount of people on the rink, regardless of covid, makes it very unenjoyable & uncomfortable, surely there must be limits health & safety wise?! Lesson learnt, never again....also the toilets were so filthy that an employee told us to use the 1 disabled toilet due to the state.

Nice skating and good fun but... social distancing was not supported. Heavily overbooked sessions with 30 minutes queue to get in to the building, and a further 30 minute delay to getting the skates. Then a busy rink. The booking system needs some work to control this (and yes we did get Covid!!). Otherwise much better than the plastic rinks set up in town centres at Christmas...

I loved the experience.. I believe it was an affordable amount.. You only pay once at the entrance, they will provide you with shoes of your size (they don't do half sizes) so I'd go half a size smaller! You can get the sliding aids (you pay a little extra for this item) and voila good to go! It was way too busy when I visited. Due to an ongoing learning session, coaches refused us to enter the rink! but once the lessons were over, the place was crowded!

The ice stadium is fine but booking skate lessons on the website is impossible. It keeps sending me round in circle and when I finally managed to get to the point of paying, I put all my details in and it looked like it had gone through but nothing has been booked. It was much easier before they "updated" the site.

I have bern there 3 days in a row for an intensive ice skating course, the place is nice and clean, 2 big cafe , serving foods too. Amazing staff , very kind . Coaches are nice and very patient. they always have a good word to make you feel welcome. I participated to a couple of public sessions, they started right after I finished my lesson, let say… a lot of people, it gets busy at times. Hope to be back soon!

Pretty cool place, went for one of the disco nights but didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would :( the people who knew how to skate weren't as forgiving to newbies as you'd hope they'd be It was super busy and we got there early but the line was long anyway, facilities appeared to be well kitted and they had free skate hire buy you have to pay for a locker to put your shoes in ... The skates here are a bit odd also as they aren't curved up at the tip they have a jagged toe end that causes you to trip and fall a bit too easily when theres lots of snow build up 🥲, new comers beware

Great ice ring. Can be busy, clean facilities but sadly the hire skates is laces which can be hard to tighten and fiddly. The ring has a small section off area for kids. They do have hire toys for £4 and this include you to swapping them, so you not stuck with a penguin the whole session. 7.5/10

Went to a music concert here on a Tuesday evening. Great venue, easy parking close by and at a discounted rate after 6pm! Venue clean and not to crowded surprisingly. Event staff were spot on, great friendly atmosphere and loads of vendors for choice of food and drink. Easy security access, felt safe and well managed. Fab venue will use again for sure

You have to book online now only which is fine but I only wanted to be a, spectator which it didn't give me the option so I had to book as a, skater at a tenner person. Please update the website to reflect this!!

Nice barn, panthers rink is nice to play on, as is the other pad. Ice is decent, hard ice. Large changing rooms, with good showers. Be aware there is only disabled parking and that is patrolled by traffic wardens. Parking on nearby streets on an app. Plenty of seating for the panthers rink, limited seating for the eiha league pad.

Normally have a great time here. Booked for a Sat night and when booking it says barriers in operation, so assumed that meant the kid zone.... Yet instead they simply have sectioned off half of the ice rink and it's not in use !!! Full price ticket yet only have the rink in use !

It was good fun but unfortunately they should know how many people can enter, because it was over crowded definitely,i do understand businesses is about money but also they should look after customer's i believe there was more then 200 people ....its nice place to visit as a family just one issue over crowded.....

We went ice skating on Wednesday and had a great time. We paid for 2 snowmen to hell the children stay on their feet but then managed to find another 2 for free for the other 2 children. There were more and more available as the session went on. It got crazy busy on the ice mid way through the session. The boots I had were the best hire boots I've ever had when ice skating. I was really impressed with them. Overall, it was a really great ice skating experience.

Went to go watch the panthers twice! Great games, very busy but yet it was very clean. Not a very long wait to get in (quick bag check and quick ticket scan)

My daughter has lessons here weekly. They do a great breakfast deal for £4.50. An egg & sausage or egg and bacon muffin with or without a slice of cheese, a hash brown, and any hot drink. The ice skating rink is big, and they have a section in the middle for toddlers. I would highly recommend Nottingham Ice Skating rink.

Fantastic day out, I went to watch Nottingham Panthers play a home game and when they scored the atmosphere was amazing. They had alot of different places to get food/drink or snacks within the stadium. Which included: Fish and chips, Sunday roast beef dinner, nachos, hotdogs, popcorn, doughnuts and many more.

the place is really great quite spacious rink in itself allows you to get a decent length in before finishing a lap. There was a child area in the middle of the rink which was really good for the children because they felt safer in a closed off environment away from the adult/ teenagers on the rink around them. I mostly did laps and didn't need any support like using the support penguins and various other items you can use to maximise your experience, however they were there for £4 if I did need them. In my opinion that is great for the service it provides. Didn't enjoy the amount of clearly expert ice skaters who probably do it for a living or take it very seriously taking up areas on the rink, I found myself having to apologise while skating even 3 feet close to them because they would stare at you as you skate past as if you were a burden. They took up a specific place of the rink around a bend that had no support around the edges and would do various tricks, sometimes even getting in the way of the general flow of the skaters. If I was less confident on the rink I definitely would have been nervous going around that part of the rink as they made it quite awkward to skate past. Maybe I came on a bad day. Despite all that the overall experience was very nice and definitely encouraged me to come again. I recommend a two hour slot on the weekend as it's probably best for people who are starting out because you spend the first hour finding your feet and then the next hour having fun and being proud of your efforts.

Our daughter has her first hockey jamboree here and the rink is a really good one. Very tidy with decent facilities. The cafe was great too. Only downside was parking which wasnt the easiest.

Fantastic venue in a fantastic city. Easy walk from the city centre. Staff are incredibly helpful. The bands: Europe.... Brilliant. Foreigner..... F#*king Amazing. Whitesnake.... What a band and what a fantastic show. Never seen so many old rockers on one place. (Good job there are plenty of toilets). Tour tee shirts £30.

My friend invited me here for the first time and I was surprised by how many reckless skaters there were, despite staff employed to make sure everyone is safe. Long story short, my friend got hit by one of these reckless skaters and lost his front tooth as a result. Not sure what their supervisory staff were doing as the reckless skaters just ran away but I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone , to groups of students I manage or ever come back myself. Really disappointed. Expect an official complaint coming your way soon.

Please, please make your website easier to follow. Took me to the login after couldn't find anything under school holidays. Couldn't log in and went to reset password but no email was sent for me to do so. Rang the ice centre and was told general skating was 12.30 - 1 30. Got there, but nobody to pay. My son put his skates on then got on the ice to be embarrassingly told its figure skating only!! Found a nice member of staff behind the skate hire and he showed us the tiny link right at the bottom of the page where you can see week by week. This is so so small and faint. Why on earth would you have your skating times to skate there??!! Surely this is where anyone wouldn't want to look if skating!! Can't book online without logging in

My family and I visited the Ice centre and we were very impressed. Coach Myles was very helpful and nice person . He explained everything in detail and he made us feel very comfortable. Myles helped us to understand and learn so easily. The sub zero cafe is excellent to take a break.

Took my primary age children for a public skate session. There was a wide range of abilities on the ice and those who are clearly very good were happy to stop to help when someone had fallen over, get them back on their feet, check they're OK and offer tips. Lovely atmosphere

Took the family skating for the first time, they had a great time and all managed to make it round the rink and no injuries. There was a lot of people there to help and give advice if needed. It is easy to get to by tram or bus, and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost of the family ticket. We we will definitely be going again.

Great experience! I have never skated in my life and this was my first experience. I booked the public skating session. Prices were really reasonable. Skate shoes were provided by the center.no additional charges. But if you are new you will probably need a snowman for support which was £4 extra. It was an amazing experience.. will definitely go again
