One of my favourite parks of Nottingham. Always open, plenty of space, outdoor gym, nice cafe in the middle and multiculturalism! Short walk away from city centre or an even shorter tram ride

It’s a large green space on outskirts of Nottingham city center with plenty of walks, greenery, wildlife, place to eat and the toilets are open again to the public. Easily accessible by public transport, walkers and cyclists.

Great place to walk your dogs, sit and relax or if you just want to go for a run. They have benches to sit and the view is perfect. It is well maintained and the dogs love to chase and stare at the squirrels and the birds. It is placed very close to the tram stop and the car parking is sufficiently big enough. It also has a kids playground and an open gym.

Spacious park and ground suitable for a range of activities, including walking, running, cycling, football, cricket etc. Two play areas for kids, plenty of car parking spaces, good park & ride location if taking tram to the city centre. Events held throughout the year at the venue as well

Not a bad place. It's large and open. At hogher level you can walk and have a bit foresty feeling. The downside is that the area is not the best so there are many weird people around.

An enormous space for a wide range of activities depending on the season, time of the day and public age. Very near a tram stop. Walking distance to the city center and to the Arboretum - another beautiful and worth the visit place (birds, trees, plants, a little lake, cafe and much more). A big pirate ship for small and big children to play and run. Another playground with all kinda of options. And an outdoors gym for people looking to exercise. Pathways for walks and runs. A parking place for your car or bike is always available. During summer we like to play football there and meet people. During winter we like to go sledding and contribute to the β€œsnowman exhibition” (you can find all kinds, different sizes and designs)

I love this park it’s so beautiful at all times of the year but particularly during the autumn when all the trees are different colours. Got everything you want from a park, playground, sports courts etc. massive playing fields and a great place to meet up as a big group.

This is the place to be in inner city Nottingham for a stroll or a nifty nip across to other parts of this lovely city. It's also nice when events takes place here or even the political Rallys or Protest Marches starting from here - long may they continue πŸ™ There is always much multicultural activity taking place here as well along with getting some chill time at the mouthwatering Homemade Cafe serving up food and soft drinks to one&all. Worthy of my *5 hands down ❀️

Great place to have a walk & relax, even a cuppa to warm you up on a cold day. At the first full weekend of October, we have the world-famous GOOSE FAIR, a great experience for young & old. Hopefully, it'll be back for 2022. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Great place to live near. Less fun to walk through late at night unless you're you're big ugly man like me. Goose Fair is a reason that I'm glad not to depend on the tramstop there but the rest of the year round its a blessing. Spacious and clean.

Always good to go for a walk to the Forest recreation grounds. Lots of trees and benches to sit while relaxing in a lovely park

The litter situation is getting worse and worse. Broken glass embedded in the field. Old food and bits of bones, so difficult to walk dogs without them getting distracted by old and unhealthy food bitsm. I've seen people sleeping in tents. This could be a lovely park, but it is disrespected by many who use it. Plus there's a swastika painted in the basket ball court!

This is a very nice place where you can have family picnic (especially summer time), do your exercises with free gym equipment and free car park . It's also near Asda in Hyson Green as well as so many other food shops in this area. Also years back ( before Covid) Goose fair used to happen in this place. There is also a drop in vaccination centre where people can either choose to walk in or book for an appointment .

πŸ‘πŸ‘ It was surprisingly ok, the kids loved it. I liked the open space and the ability to see the children enjoying themselves while I worked. The food was expensive for the poor quality but everything else was great. Take your own snacks (!) We bought our tickets in advance and there was no wait or q...

πŸ‘ Clean park with lots of different things to do. Cafe on site with very reasonable prices. Brilliant for a dog walk or simply finding a bench to relax on and read.
