This town is remarkably proud of its rebellious culture and historical figures like Robin Hood 🤠✌🦸‍♂️🦹‍♀️ Keep up the progressive causes 💥👍👏🙏

We dropped by very early so no one else was around. Not sure if it's usually this way. My 5 year old daughter didn't understand the character Robin Hood. I tried to explain it to her but I don't think the 10 second synopsis helped her understand it any better.

Located at the foot of Nottingham castle, this place is iconic and a must-see when visiting Nottingham. No ticket is required. It is free!

Cast from sketches of the great man himself by Maid Marion, and wearing a costume designed by Little John and Yves St Laurent, this wonderful life sized statue is made of bronze and stands outside the walls of Nottingham's Nottingham Castle. Pulling back his mighty arm to release an arrow, old Robin looks every inch the hero, righting wrongs, resetting lost Hotmail passwords and presenting the weather on local TV. What a guy. Free entry.

Statue is cool, but after dark neither statue nor wall with Robin Hoods life are well-lit, statue with Little John, Friar Tuck and so on, completely lost in the darkness. Take a torch if you planning to be in the area after dark.

It was nice to see the historic Robin Hood statue. Along with other statues of his Merry Men

retelling the tail of robin hood and his men statue was an awesome thing to see... and nothing but myth to prove... but does make the tales more tangible.... but literally going down the hill past robin hood you come to one of the oldest public houses in the United Kingdom where if the words are true soldiers fighting in the Crusades went to drink before they went to the Holy war.. so all in all definitely a good place to see

Robin Hood looks... a bit chubby, and someone had thrown up next to the Statue. There's a nice looking pub opposite.

The statue in itself is nothing special. It was meh when I got there. Sadly enough, I wasn't able to go inside for the Robin hood experience.

The landmark of Nottingham and believe should visit, Robin Hood statue around and easy to access, just walk around 10 mins from city centre, it’s free and everyone could enjoy with family & friends.

Always wanted to visit Nottingham. Theatre and Su Pollard 😁🙏 Secondly to see and learn more about the famous Robin Hood (his-)story. Unfortunately the castle is closed temporarily so only the statue was possible to visit. Really enjoyed, especially the architecture around the area. Beautiful! And - the statue - is free. Plenty of carpark around and must say extremely expensive! 3 hrs stay was nearly £15. I bet they're all private companies..

The Robin Hood statue is basically a brief free photo op, as there is no real information about him or the statue’s creation available. It’s easily located right outside the city walls.

Nice area but lots of broken glass on floor. Be careful with your pups walking around statues. Cafe close by so perfect on sunny day

Posing with the statue is a must for Robin Hood fans. This area isn't closed off and thus very easy to access. Please note that the castle is closed until 2021 per their website. Still nice to walk around.

Amazing statue of the legendary outlaw hero, Robin Hood. It’s worth the walk to visit this monument. Be sure to check out the rest of Nottingham Castle. I loved it!

Awww. Kids loved seeing and posing with it. Castle was shut but added to the magic i guess. The real star is the robin hood museum and shop round the corner. He was fab. We had a go in the stocks. Very helpful too.

The Robin Hood statues are set in a peaceful and surreal location just outside of Nottingham Castle. You're able to sit and admire the statues in the peace and tranquility of the open space; sensing the history of the location especially if you are a fan of Robin Hood and his adventures.

Nottingham castle is a perfect place for a sunny day because it has sun deck chairs in the garden. Inside the castle there were paintings and historical stuff. You can bring your kids. There are 2 cafes in the entrance and in the castle. There is a car park in NCP.
