Serene and scenic garden. Great place to relax. Also take a stroll or jog along the Victoria Embankment.

Love Victoria gardens, it’s like a second home. I have spent many hours enjoying walking my dog and sun bathing. X

This area is literally like my back garden😄. Very nice place to have a walk and take your mind off things, have a picnic, study, etc. If there could be a STRICT rule and fine on dog owners then that would be wonderful..... I get very cautious when I see people let their dogs do their business then don't clean up after them!!

Not sure the memorial is going to last. Already looks ropey in places. Shame for the design as it's an important monument.

It was lovely to find the name of my husband's uncle. The lack of maintenance is very sad. There were weeds growing all round the site. If it was to be left to go wild then poppies would have been more appropriate. I'm sure it wouldn't take long to tidy up the memorial itself. It took a lot of time and money to create this to honour the dead of WW1 it seems a shame to spoil it for want of a bit of care.

We love this place. Since the lockdown the council has made most of the embankment pedestrians and bicycles only. So it’s great to walk the dog, and visit the memorial. It’s a very moving tribute and we leave flowers every year to remember those no longer with us. The gardens to the rear are beautiful and well kept. There’s a statue of Queen Victoria and lovely fountains. Lots of squirrels and ducks, a very peaceful and serene place. Every year on remembrance Sunday there is a service held and wreathes laid. This year they projected poppies onto the structure at night. Very beautiful.

I came here for a race and it was a nice place to walk right by the river with a cafe close by as well.

Nice b Venue to visit. Gardens are attractive with local cafe and park for the kids. Nearby grassland perfect for a run about / social game of football etc. Opposite the river Trent which is perfect for a walk or run. A nice place to visit and if good weather a perfect day trip.

We go to the riverside festival every year and it's always a fab day out 😊. Lovely grounds to walk around aswell as the usual rides/food stalls and arts and crafts marquees ..there's lots of activities to take part in. Never made it til the fireworks but have been told they're spectacular. The music stages are also great to go and chill by,lots of great live music! Would recommend to all ages 👍
