Stayed at this hotel multiple times over the year and I love it. The location is right in the town center in the middle of all the action, but it's not too loud. The rooms are a little small but they're clean and modern with everything you need. It's worth getting the breakfast - they have a large selection of full-English breakfast items, as well as cereal and pastries, muffins, etc. We checked in online so the whole process was very quick. Will definitely stay again.

It's a great place to stay at if you have to sort out accommodation out of the blue and I was absolutely thrilled when I called and asked if I can book a room even though it's last minute and they said no problem. I have stayed at Ibis three times so far and I have been so far happy with the room size versus pricing only problem I encountered with each stay was the towels being left there after previous customers have used them. I had to get a clean one since the one I had in the room was full of lipstick on it and foundation. It is very easy to fix and the clean staff were very apologetic and quick to solve the problem. All in all it's a good place to stay at ,would give 5stars if mot for the towel incident. Will stay again at Ibis Hotel đź‘Ť

Love the whole vibe of the hotel. I lived here for almost 2 months, it was almost like a home to me. The Infrastructure of the hotel is quite nice. The hotels is in city area and very close to grocery stores ,medicals ,restaurants bars and clubs and even station . From all the rooms 500 room was my favourite has a great view of City In day and night as well. I would highly recommend the place.

Really great hotel, whoever designed this place really thought everything through as it seems very easy and suitable. The bed was very comfortable and when you closed the window you couldn't hear any noise from outside. The room had aircon/heating and a little tea/coffee tray. The shower was good and hot and easy to use. Toiletries were also provided in big dispensable bottles which was helpful. The breakfast was amazing, a cooked hot section as well as a selection of breads, cereals, yogurts, cold meats, cheese, pastries, muffins, and a very good selection of tea and coffee also. They also provided to go coffee cups which i thought was really nice as it meant i could enjoy one coffee when i left the hotel. All in all very happy with Ibis and the team. Who run this place.

Good room, pod style bathroom was clean but mattress protector could have been a cleaner. Excellent breakfast. Not sure how eco it can be to have 100% plastic bathrooms, and lack of room clean is put down as ECO friendly but someone popping in and tidying the room would still be preferable. Will be back as location was good.

Staff are helpful and very polite. Double room is clean and just big enough for 2. Shower is a great size and good water pressure. Slightly inaccessible wardrobe area and dull interior decoration. Great for a quick stay in the city centre.

Great location centre of Nottingham just a 10 min walk from train station. Service checking I'm was great. However the bar was largely unmanned meaning difficult to get food and drink. Rooms very dated although I did enjoy air con. My key card stopped working twice and staff didn't seem to do much to resolve.

This is a standard Ibis hotel. It’s really handy for everything I wanted to visit including all of the transport links. The hotel itself was clean and well kept the room was clean and comfortable. My only grumble was the gentleman who collected our bags from the luggage storage really didn’t want to and made no effort to hide it. Everyone else was really friendly though.

Great location for visit to Motorpoint Arena. Lace Market carpark opposite, small discount when you verify your ticket at the Ibis. Room was spotless, quiet (237) & beds very comfortable. Super breakfast with attentive & friendly staff throughout. Swift check-in & out. Very impressed & fantastic value for money.

Our room had a great view but when we first entered there was a weird smell. We left the window open and this helped. I like Ibis hotels and this one was as good as I expected it to be.

Fine for the price. Clean room. Small bathroom. Parking is charged across the road. I was told to validate the parking ticket when we were next leaving. We were only staying an hour initially, but validating the parking ticket meant that cost us the full overnight price!

we had a room booked, me and my friend, and the guy at the desk wouldn’t allow us in, because we needed to show confirmation, our other two friends who were staying in the same hotel in a different room had the booking confirmation under their name, but the man didn’t allow us to go to there room to show proof that we had a room. After he checked the CCTV footage that clearly showed we was at the hotel booking in earlier on in the day. There was one helpful guy who actually tried to find the truth but the “manager” wasn’t allowing us to even prove we was telling the truth, so we’ve wasted a lot of money for a room that we didn’t get to stay in. shambles

Great hotel for the price, lovely staff, exactly what I expected for this semi business trip. Your key card might need resetting a few times, other than that, It is great. The location is perfect, in the heart of the city, with anything and everything close by (in my case, a Tesco literally 10 steps from the hotel).

Nice place for the price. Great location, room size is acceptable. Hotel is clean and cosy. The lobby is fairly modern however the rooms are a little old fashioned and lacking in plug sockets. The bar is a little pricey compared to places. Overall can't complain for the price, for a two star hotel it's not a bad place to stay, it's my go to when I stay in Nottingham.

The rooms are ok, if a little tight. The bathroom 'pod' is usually beautifully clean and there is ample shower gel etc. The air con/heating system is a mystery I have yet to solve. The light that indicates the smoke alarm is working, that flashes continuously through out the day and night is only an issue if I have a migraine because it is directly above the bed - generally, I can ignore it.

Brilliant location for the Motorpoint Arena. Nice hotel, room quite basic and had a bit of a funny smell! But it was clean and has everything you needed. Staff were really helpful and got a discount on overnight parking in the car park opposite

We had a lovely stay and time at our well furnished room in Ibis Nottingham Hotel. We had a lot of fun and got to know each better [Me and my best friend]. For some strange reason, my pillow was underneath the bed and I didn't notice this because I was too drunk so I ended up using my dress as my pillow. The breakfast was well tasty and rich in all the foods that we love. I just wish our hangovers weren't so bad so we could eat more. This Halloween will always be a lovely memory, thanks to Ibis Hotel and my friend.

Love coming to ibis as its so close to city centre, its very clean and tidy too. I put 4 to servive as we had email stating 14.00pm check in and the lad said we couldn't check in until 15.00pm, until we showed email. But we wasn't the only people checking in at 14.00pm. Definitely return again soon

Overall no problems with this stay; corridors and room generally peaceful, good temperature, staff generally welcoming. The fixtures/decor in the room are quite dated and basic, but it's not a major problem. Only niggle this time is the bed frame was a little loose and creaked (woke me up) whenever I rolled over in my sleep, but that's easily fixable. For the price (booked through a corp system) it was about right.

This could have been a great stay everything was going superb. The girl who checked us in and served us in the bar was a real credit to your business and should be recognised for outstanding service and friendly manner. I've attached a picture of her as she was brilliant. The guy who was working with her was really good too. This is where it went down hill at approximately 7:45am we were woken to extreme drilling ! We are musicians and are working till late the last thing we need when we are touring is this kind of behaviour we use Ibis all over Europe this is not what we paid for. The manager was inundated with complaints at the reception desk , which was a bit unfair to him, these rooms shouldn't have been available for occupancy, but as usual the greed of companies think they can just get on with it. Well guess what no you can't it's not acceptable we will be looking for a full refund. The free breakfast was a nice touch by the manager, but doesn't get our sleep back before our travels and another tired show this evening. Bad reviews are surely not worth putting people in a noisy hotel. I'm sure there will be many reviews like mine if this noise continues. I'm a big fan of the ibis brand you know what you are getting and there's a late bar ideal for traveling musicians. But don't mug us off !

Perfect for an overnight stay in central Nottingham. Room clean and comfortable, although some damage noticeable to the edge of the desk area. Check-in area not terribly clear (it is in fact the bar). Staff helpful however. Car park directions could be given as the designated discounted car park (Council Lace Market car park) doesn't exist in Google Maps! Overall pretty satisfactory.

I stayed at the hotel for my work Xmas party. The room was as expected from previous ibis stays. I had a good night's sleep with a comfy bed. The only draw back of the hotel was the sound of church bells on the hour. They did not go on all night but might not be ideal if you wanted along lie in.

Good Central Hotel with a car park opposite for which you get a reduced rate once you've validated your ticket in the hotel. We were on the 5th floor & despite it only being January ,it was very hot in the room.Windows have limited opening & the air con in our room didn't appear to be working. The bed was very comfy , the sheets clean & we slept well. The walls of the room were dirty & could have done with a bit of elbow grease to clean them up. The bathroom was in a little pod. There were a lot of stray hairs in the shower, sink & on the walls..yuk ! We didn't do breakfast & opted for a local cafe. Personally think it's overpriced for what you get but would use again if needed.

Clean and comfortable, although the cigarette burns in the bathroom basin were unfortunate and a bit scummy. 4 stars rather than 5 because one of the lifts was broken for two of our three night stay, and it was free to leave luggage on arrival but a rather mean ÂŁ2 to leave it for a few hours when checking out.

A very pleasant stay at the Ibis central hotel in Nottingham. - Location The hotel is positioned in a very central location, just about less than 10 minutes walk from the train station, fairly easy to find. - Nearby amenities The hotel is right next to a decently sized Tesco Express (open til 11pm), so a very convenient place to get some drinks, snacks or anything else you might want during your stay. Besides the shops, there are pubs and dining places surrounding the hotel, and even more so within walking distance. The Victoria Center is also just within 5mins walk, providing plenty of great stores to shop at - clothing, games, shoes, makeup, food, market stalls. - Rooms The rooms in the hotel are very tidy and pleasant to stay at. There were no complaints about the room, other than the air conditioning unit did not seem to work in my room, and there was no bin (other than the one in the bathroom), but I'm sure if one needed it, the staff would have supplied you with one. - Services On arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful with check in, the cleaning staff were also very friendly and always greeted in the morning. All in all, a very decent hotel to stay at centrally in Nottingham.

Stayed right in the heart of the city centre and loved it, thank you Ibis Nottingham Centre for making my first overnight stay with my friend somewhere special. Rooms were very clean and well maintained, as I passed through the hallway I could see many housekeepers hard at work and appreciated them. As someone who very much enjoys the little things the shower felt actually luxurious and I was surprised to find how shiny the shampoo/conditioner left my hair. The staff were friendly and accommodating, 10/10

staff was very friendly. Room was relatively clean as well. The lock of our first room didn’t close but we could get the room opposite of ours. staff again very helpful and friendly. They also gave us a good tip for a food cocktail bar.

+ves: Budget, good location, comfortable bed. -ves: tobacco smell in bathroom, couldn't control room temperature (no ac). So I had to open the windows for air, but noisy outside. Would I stay here again or recommend it? Maybe not.

Pillows very uncomfortable, shower is pretty good though and shower gel smells nice. Rest was okay, though the staff did want to bum us an extra tenner on check-in per room for 'early check-in' despite already being two in the afternoon and we just needed somewhere to leave our bags.

Location good. Room smelt like pee and super dusty. Cobwebs hanging from celling and carpets are filthy. I know it's cheap but cleaning should be 100% better Rooms super old and out of date

Great location .ideal for the main centre . Rooms basic but clean an tidy . Staff seemed friendly when waw there . The bar / reception seemed unmanned for quite some time upon waiting to be served. Then a young girl suddenly appeared from another room . We could of helped ourselves to a number of drinks if we'd wanted to and nobody would of even noticed . As am employer myself I wouldn't of been best happy about this .

  • 5/5 Emma T. 1 year ago on Google
Really friendly and helpful staff, in this brilliantly located hotel, in the centre of Nottingham - exactly where we wanted to stay, and great breakfast. The only thing I can think of as possible room for improvement, is that the twin beds were very narrow and the pillows very thin (but that's a more personal preference). I would definitely use this hotel again if I come back to Nottingham to visit my Niece with my Sister.

Stayed two nights for my son’s graduation. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy . The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I was on the 4th floor which was quiet and I had a good view of the city . The hotel was in a great location and the tram was outside. I would certainly recommend Ibis Hotel in Fletcher Gate . Thank you Ibis for a great visit .

No wifi to sign into. No hand towels supplied anymore. Air conditioning only came on for a few minutes mid afternoon. Room was OK. Easy check in. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff friendly and helpful.

Great location for visiting Nottingham but that is the only plus. We are still here at the moment and ive got say how filthy our room is , we have complained twice to no avail , there are cobwebs on the ceiling , the carpet looks as though it's never seen a hoover , dust you could write your name in, today the tea coffee sugar was replenished but the cups weren't cleaned, I understand its a budget hotel but surely it should be clean , the only reason I've given 2 stars is for location. The cleaner would not work for me !!

  • 4/5 Kirk L. 1 year ago on Google
In a great position for city centre shopping or concert. Hotel was clean, with small bar at reception area, card payment only for drinks and pizza. Room was at nice temperature, beds comfy, free WiFi, only tiny moan is lack of bin in room(bathroom had small one), and kettle could have been better.

  • 5/5 Becky B. 1 year ago on Google
We've stayed at this Ibis previously when going to a gig at the Motorpoint Arena. The location is incredibly central and ideal if you are coming for a gig. But also if you are in Nottingham for a shopping trip etc. The staff are always more than happy to help, very friendly. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was super comfy. The room had tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer. The hotel is accessible for those that have mobility issues. The multi storey car park is very close by and you can validate your car parking ticket on the way out!

Great rooms at affordable prices. The service is good. Regular cleaning is offered. Don't go for inclusive breakfast. It's in the centre near the Lace Market Tram stop.

Excellent value for money and staff were very friendly and helpful. Modern rooms and shower facilities. Location right at the heart of the city with parking across the st. Negative, parking is not free.

We have stayed here numerous times with no problems. On this occasion, the toilet broke at 10.30 pm, and would not flush, with the water running continuously. As maintenance do not work during the night, we were initially offered free drinks by way of apology. But after responding that we couldn't sleep with the noise of the running water, the helpful receptionist found us a different room, and gave us the free drinks, too. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
