The worst ever experience I've had at any hotel and I travel quite a bit for work spending anywhere between 50-100 nights a year. Housekeeping is ridiculous here. I've had to go to the front desk 3 times within 8 days to complain about the bedsheets not being changed, they don't restock coffee, milk etc., no restocking of shower items. I've complained about it multiple times and the other night, their manager came up bringing all the stuff I needed and said he'd leave a note for housekeeping to make sure the room is cleaned but they still did not. The first time I checked in I was given the tiniest room they had and when I requested for an upgrade being a diamond member, front desk told me there's no availability but the same night the other guy at the reception was able to get me a better room. Today I dropped off my laundry and I was told it will be left in my room but it wasn't and they said it won't be ready until tomorrow even though I'm telling them I have to leave at 7 in the morning. This place is worse than I can tell. You're better off staying at a cheap lodge or somewhere else. It's a rip-off here paying on an average 150 bucks a night. Really disappointed with this place and I'm never staying here again after this visit.

Hi Hilton, Services were great, the room however was clean, but dated. Worn carpet, peeling paint on wooden surfaces, frames and scratches on brass furniture. A horrid battery powered council smoke alarm which I do not know why it was there as the rooms are all fitted with an addressable smoke alarm and sounder system. This raised questions to suggest this system was either faulty or offline. The door entry was partially blocked by an old fashioned wardrobe. I know the hotel is under refurbishment, however, if I'd of known this room was allocated to me prior to visiting I never would of booked. From the pictures I seen on the website prior to booking, they were modern. Hilton Honours allocated me a choice of just 2 rooms from the whole hotel 114/115 both dated and undesirable. The swimming pool and breakfast was lovely, alongside the staff, very courteous and knowledgeable. It is not there fault regarding the rooms condition so I chose not to confront. Kind Regards, Chris.

This was a decent hotel. We got a compact room and we're disappointed of how small it was. Staff were nice and the spa/pool was ok. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a wonderful range of juices, cereals and much more, no complaints there. Had a massage and the young lady named Sienna ant it was simply amazing.

An excellent stay. From check in to the breakfast ladies, the staff were excellent and friendly. Clearly a positive culture amongst the staff as customer satisfaction was their priority. Well done to the leadership team. As we are vegan and one is also gluten free it was a delight to have an extensive choice for breakfast. Rooms great, really clean albeit a touch cosy but good for inner city. Handful of parking by the front door but a multi-storey with Hilton reserved spots across the road. Pool and gym facilities really good and clean! Would highly recommend. Also if a visitor to Nottingham, the City of Caves guided tour is 10 min walk away and well worth it. A shorter walk in the opposite direction on the same road, is a great all plant based restaurant called the Prickly Pear, situated in the The Golden Fleece pub. Food was delicious!

Glamorous hotel. Smaller than average rooms, however aesthetics are superior to other hotels of similar quality. Middle of Nottingham’s city centre, street is bustling. Parking right across not difficult to get to at all. Access to swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. However it can get quite busy as it’s not exclusively owned by the hotel but rather a private health club. The breakfast chef was extremely caring, unnecessarily holding lids up and he delivered my omelette to the table, which I felt very bad for - bless him. An improvement: • the bins are ridiculously small in the room, couldn’t put any of my rubbish in the bin. Kinda rendering the point of a trash can useless.. Visited 31/01/23

We had an extended stay in Nottingham so we decided to stay in Hilton Nottingham since we have status. Depending on your room and the direction it is facing, it can get loud at night. The noise isn’t really a big deal for us as we live in a large metropolitan city (Toronto). We checked in as Hilton Honors Gold members and they are pulling out all the stops. My wife is extremely satisfied with the service here. I actually attained Diamond status with my stay here, so I wonder what else they could do as I cannot imagine what else they’d do with everything they did for us as Gold members already. We had a change in plans during our stay, and they were accommodating with our request to upgrade our room. We came here for business. My wife has coworkers staying at the nearby Park Plaza. Apparently, there are issues there with hot water, draining and the walls are paper thin. There are no such issues at Hilton Nottingham. The water is great and you cannot hear your neighbours. Our daughter loves walking up and down the stairs (much to my wife’s chagrin). If we come to Nottingham again, we will definitely stay here.

A historical building at a central location. Most rooms have been renovated well, but due to the old nature of the building most rooms are small. I visited many times for business over the past three years and the service always has been very attentive and friendly. The gym is quite good too. Certainly would recommend this place to anyone looking for a 4-star hotel right in the centre of Nottingham.

Absolutely brilliant! I stayed Monday night and the whole experience was fantastic. I arrived at midnight as I got lost navigating to the hotel. The two chaps on the front desk were patient as professional I couldn’t praise them enough. I had a late night snack and that too was delicious. Well done Nottingham Hilton.

Very congested area, difficult to park and the rental car GPS had trouble finding the location. Room 521 had some strange mechanical noise that woke us up throughout the night and disrupted normal conversation. Pool is older, 1.3m/4.25Ft deep from end to end (no shallower depths available) jacuzzi is regular pool temp. Staff was attentive and helpful.

Very nice hotel. Amazing staff who love to help. The hotel is very clean throughout. Decor is all up to date. Bedrooms are very spacious and well looked after. It's also well quiet and you're able to get good rest. Hotel is located in the heart of the city centre which is very good. The only downside is the parking or getting to the hotel. It's not the easiest, and if you are out of town like me; it's hard to navigate with a car.

We were made very welcome by the excellent staff from the moment we walked in. A large clean and comfortable room. A lovely staff member called Ameal spent time talking to us at the breakfast table which was really nice. Employees like her deserve to be mentioned. The breakfast was great! Perfect location and will definately be back. Thanks to you all

Great place to stay, right in the city centre - dog friendly, beautiful breakfast with so many options to choose from - my son loved it. Great menu for lunch, had a nice swim in the pool. Room was lovely and clean. My little pooch loved the comfy bed sheets. Thank you for having us and will be back next year in 2024! :)

Lovely stay. Room was very spacious and clean. Very comfortable. Our breakfast was included that was also really nice. The hotel is situated in a busy area of the city but there was no noise from outside. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Hope to stay again soon.

We stayed for one night and booked a room for three persons. After a long drive we entered our room and found out that the room was only set up for 2 persons. We stold the staff and while we went out for dinner house the house keeping made sure we had 3 beds when we came back. But with a very, very dirty sheet. In the morning we found out that we only had two towels, two cups, two coffees and two bottles of water. For the price you pay we expected much more. The breakfast was delicious, but we had a dog and had to sit in the lobby. No problem for us, but it took so long before our table was ready. We really felt forgotten. We expected so much more from a HILTON hotel.

Another excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms are now refurbished to a very good standard. Service is still of the highest standard here. We travel widely including Hiltons in India and the team more than match that very high standard. We were recognised for our Diamond Honours membership - recognition for HH membership at any level is very rare the UK sadly.. Special mention to Winifred on Front Desk who was charming, engaging and informative and to John the barman who went above and beyond what we would have expected. We have read complaints about inattentive and rude staff - unbelievable and mark downs for frankly ridiculous things. A poorly stocked bar - the one in reception is amply stocked with a wide variety of wines, beers and spirits - did you would not think to ask if there was another bar? Issues around where towels were placed - seriously? "Im a diamond member and didnt get the room I wanted" - how could you not have updated your room preferences when you stay so often in Hiltons and why did you not check in before you arrived to choose your own room? Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of baked goods; breads/bagels; continental items including fish and cold meats; grains, cereals and seeds and a full range of "traditional" hot breakfast items. The only let down is the hot drinks scenario. The unavailability of coffee or tea in pots is incredibly frustrating - that isn't even available on request - more than one cup requires more than one trip to a solitary (coffee machine. Having to keep an eye on whether there is a queue for it to get another cup of something or biting the bullet to stand around queuing is not a feature I want included in my breakfast experience. 1 machine / no pot option defies understanding in such a customer focussed hotel. That said, we dont ever think of staying anywhere else in Nottingham.

Great hotel, strange lay out but make the most of their space. Rooms were good enough for basic needs. If you just need a room for the night for a visit or work trip this is more than good enough. Great location too

Brilliant hotel, and brilliant staff. Had a problem with my room and they could not have been more apologetic, they moved me rooms right away. Parking is a little steep but to be expected when staying in a city centre.

Lovely hotel, we were greeted with Prosecco on arrival by a really friendly chap and made to feel very welcome. Check in was a breeze and the room was immaculate. Location was great in the middle of the city centre near to lots of shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if and when I’m next in Nottingham!

Had a one night stay here on our way travelling north. Our room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and spacious enough for us (two adults and a toddler). Location of the hotel is fantastic in the heart of the city and has some parking space too (albeit we had to pay £20 per night for it). Breakfast was ok, with a good range of options, but again we paid £16 per person for breakfast. Overall a good stay but a bit too expensive in my opinion.

I booked the Hilton as I'm a Hilton Honors Member and ordinarily I like Hilton hotels. I was aware that the place was under refurbishment and honestly that didn't seem too cause too much of an issue. The place just felt empty, which I presume was down to covid and having not got back to normal yet. The bed wasn't very comfortable, the room was adequate. But the noise was too much. The noise from outside at 3am was ridiculous, I know that's not the fault of the hotel, but the noise then continued into the hotel and through the corridors. People shouting, and slamming doors. The redeeming feature was the breakfast! It was phenomenal. Absolutely delicious and everything you can think of was on offer. And the bar staff in the evening were very friendly. I really hope that this hotel gets back on its feet ASAP!

Lovely clean room and comfortable bed. Hotel very central with easy check in and polite welcoming staff. Great bar for early evening drinks and a little bar for a nightcap. Breakfast was perfect with plenty of choice. Parking available across the road, discounted to £8 per night if you give your parking ticket to reception. Would stay again if visiting Nottingham.

Had a brilliant stay last night. Could not praise the staff more, 2 lovely ladies on reception when we arrived sorry didn't get your names girls, so helpful and such good customer care. Good sized room and bed with nice clean crisp linen. Also a big thank you to Dimitri and Ameal for looking after us in the restaurant. We will be back

Great location, right in the centre of the city and the car park next door is good too. Staff is lovely and the hotel amenities are great, love the wellness space they have. Unfortunately, beds are really uncomfortable and rooms are little small with barely a window. Would only go back for a night but not longer.

The experience of this hotel was fabulous, only stayed for one night but was a lovely time. I went to see Jersey Boys at the Theatre Royal Concert Hall, and this hotel is just perfect for the location. Literally a 3 minute walk to the theatre and also around the hotel location is nice bars and places to eat, Breakfast was a nice experience and the food was very nice and pleasant staff throughout my stay. Also it was nice to go and have a walk and see the brilliant Brian Clough statue.

Great hotel, great location. Close to everything. We walked to the train station dragging our bags behind us and it took 15 minutes. Bus stop outside the door - very easy to navigate. Hotel shows its age slightly but other than that excellent.

Wonderful hotel. Room and facilities very clean, tidy and modern. In the middle of City Centre so amazing to get around city quickly. Pool, sauna and steam room all free to use for hotel guest. They were all clean, modern and well kept. Pool not to busy so enough space to swim around with out feeling crowded. I took my puppy with us to stay. I was amazed by the warm and kind welcoming we received from all staff. Our pup also got his very own goodie bag filled with toy and very helpful information of where to find things. I will be coming back here again and can’t wait. No chance to use spa due to full itinerary out of hotel but hopefully next time. Just bare in mind spa is closed Mondays and Tuesdays so plan for this if you are coming. Breakfast was was good lots to choose from.

Much improved rooms and app based check in are the main positives. Expect to park in the public car park over the road as the hotel has only c.8 spaces. Restaurant service and organisation is patchy with some staff being excellent and others clearly learning the job. Menu quality has improved but has relatively few options yet the kitchen seems to always have availability issues that the serving staff don't know about. A persistent issue. Improved but still need to up their game.

Excellent location, separate parking for standard prices across the road, situated as central to the city as is possible, everything you could want literally on the doorstep. Room as expected, comfortable beds, clean, tidy. The breakfast was fantastic, best vegetarian/vegan offerings already cooked so no ‘special requests’ needed. Other family member is a carnivore and he ate multiple plates of food. If you can book a breakfast without staying as a guest I’d highly recommend it. Note that when breakfast service time ends, it ends. This is to be expected with a busy hotel, no impact for us thankfully as we enjoyed a leisurely delicious breakfast. Thanks to Mehul at Reception, housekeeping, bar and breakfast host, chef and staff for Hilton standard stay. Excellent, we’ll be back.

This is a wonderful and historic hotel in Nottingham! The location is extremely convenient and is right next to Victoria Centre. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and we will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Hotel spotlessly clean, clean pool, sauna and steam rooms. Breakfast very nice, only gave a 4 due to the gentleman frying the eggs was very rude. Heard a customer politely say "morning" he rudely replied "yes, it is the morning!" was rude to me and my partner and the staff didn't look happy to be there. Overall we have enjoyed our stay, it's been lovely, just wish the staff were more attentive.

A really good hotel which would have been even better if chairs had been provided to sit on, not only from the point of view of offering a room service of a meal in- where would you sit? BUT also once in your 70's to be expected to sit propped up with pillows to watch the television is not ideal - on this point the Hotel have said they will review this situation which will be good. The other down side was the noise, not only hotel noise from fans, air conditioning units etc. but street noise to until 3am when it does go quiet, presumably only triple glazing would help resolve this if you have a room at the rear of the hotel. All Staff and catering team - brilliant.

My stay was an awesome experience, the welcome Easter eggs made ma.kids gleam. The rise petals on the bed was also very cute. The meals were great and the pool was pretty nice. Overall this was a very nice experience.

The staff were excellent from check in to checkout. The breakfast is amazing definitely worth saving on dinner for. The croissant is sublime and there's everything you could wish for. Just a practical comfortable hotel set in a great location in the city centre of Nottingham.

Lovely stay, room was comfortable and clean. Staff at the hotel were all excellent and I would definitely stay again. Room was booked for myself and 2 daughters but we were joined by several friends before heading out for my daughters hen night- staff were more than happy for us to start the party there 🥳 Plenty of room for the 3 of us sleep, 2 very comfortable large beds and a bed settee. Breakfast was good and times were good as served until 11am, just what's needed after a late night 🤩

Hotel is currently having a well needed renovation. Noise is kept to a minimum however the lifts are in constant use by the builders so expect a wait or use the stairs. Restaurant is a mixed bag, lovely friendly evening staff however be weary of the breakfast team, not as friendly apart from the breakfast chef. I had a renovated room which was lovely but basic, literally no storage at all, personally i don't think they will stand the test of time but certainly an improvement especially with the addition of air con in all rooms

Absolutely wonderful and friendly staff at this quirky hotel with newly decorated rooms which is nicely located in the city centre with lots to do. I personally recommend to have food and drinks at the in-house restaurant Bric, the service is absolutely amazing. The indoor pool is nicely placed in the lower ground floor with spa facilities to ease away after a long day. Overall my family and I are pleased with the hotel and it’s staff. Five stars all the way. Keep up the good work. Cheerio.
