Stayed here this weekend, was charged £22 as the owner couldn’t find 2 spoons that were in the room, on checking again she found the spoons and refunded but again not that point. Had have not challenged they wouldn’t have even looked for them. Stayed 2 nights, not once did they enter the room, make the beds, give new towels, replenish tv bags or milk, give new cups for the tea, had to rinse old ones in the sink. Used the excuse we were a group and they didn’t know who was sharing so didn’t want to move anything in the room. rooms were nice, we were in casa Blanca so bring a torch as you can’t see in the room to do makeup etc it’s very dark as that’s part of the effect. We were on the ground floor so easy enough but friends on top floor had a back operation so struggled to get up the stairs and no lift. If you google the hotel states breakfast is free but it’s not we had to pay, Parking is also £20 for 2 nights so overall very expensive then to be charged more for spoons they later found. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel really and I will pretty much stay anywhere. Not worth the money.

Well what a place! Booked here for a girls catch up which was central for us all. We booked the loft room so that we could all be together. It had 6 beds plus a sofa and all the usual hotel items, drink making equipment, tv etc. The décor throughout is very quirky with each room different, the owners we’re very helpful and made our stay special by providing us with a traditional homemade Russia birthday cake for one of our members, and didn’t mind the front door being open for another member to have some air when she took a turn due to her illness 🙁 The stairs going up to the loft are very steep and taking big/heavy items will need to be considered if booking this room. But we had a lot of fun and enjoyed every precious minute 😊 Would recommend and would stay there again.

we have stayed in this beautiful clean cosy guest house before having the paris / cassablanca/ and last night the London room . there is nothing bad to say about this house Breakfast was delicious spot on fresh cooked lovely presented . Marina and David are the perfect hosts so friendly and happy nothing is any trouble for them cant wait to go back .keep up the good work Linda. sheri and storm Xxx

What a find! Awesome guest house with a fabulous choice of breakfast and such quirky rooms. Loved it, and I will definitely be back! Book parking space if you need it, much cheaper than staying in a car park in town.

This place was good and the room was amazing but was disappointed with the bed making a noise and the mattress was not that good and room too hot no control for heating and they should have a fan we tried to open windows but too heavy

This is our third visit and we'd never stay anywhere else. The owners are incredibly friendly and do a fabulous breakfast with fresh tea and French press coffee (fresh fruit to start, followed by your pre-ordered hot breakfast and then a yummy mini muffin to finish). It's very well placed in terms of location and is only a short walk into the city and is close to some lovely restaurants. We happily stay here every time we visit Nottingham.

Cairo room decor was fun and unique. We didn't feel comfortable though with the softness of linen. The service was friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. Good walking location to the centre.

Absolutely fabulous stay! The rooms are so beautifully designed, and a lot of attention has been put into the details of each room. David & Marina are so nice, and I highly recommend getting breakfast!

What an absolutely wonderful little place! When we arrived, we were greeted by Marina, who was so welcoming and friendly. We were handed our room key, front door key, and told where our room was. We were in the Vienna Room, which was beautifully decorated and cosy. It's not a large room but perfect nonetheless. It had everything you could need and was impeccably clean. We met David when we checked out the following morning. He was friendly, happy, and a great last impression of the place Thank you both, we loved our stay and will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful place inside and out, nice and close to the centre. The owners were attentive and the breakfast was so yummy, would come back if in the area.

1 month after my stay, I did ask, by e-mail for an invoice.... 20 minutes later I had it on my table. what a service... And not to forget, the full British was excelent
