Love the concept and after spending two nights there I now love the experience as well. Great service and super clean rooms and bathrooms. Location is top notch.

Tried to get a refund for an evening booked. This due to unforeseen circumstances. A shame it was not accepted. No reason given. Guess I’ll never leave a first hand review. A little decency goes a long way;)

Beyond impressed for the price. Stayed in a private room with en suite for a couple of nights. Cheap and cheerful but friendly staff and good levels of cleanliness. Some noise from nearby bars (as expected in city centre) but died down after 11pm. Would stay again

Perfect. Stayed for 1 night. It is well priced, in a great central location with good sized rooms and very comfortable beds. Nice quiet accommodation for a great night's sleep. It's very well kept and very clean. The shower/toilet room was immaculate. The staff are friendly too.

Great place. Staff friendly and room was clean and comfortable. It's not a posh hotel, so don't expect one. I felt relaxed and comfortable here. It is city centre which is really convenient but there is some pub noise and music in the background.

Really good, especially for the price!! Fantastic location, we stayed here for holiday for a few days and it happened to be withing a few minutes walk of everywhere we wanted to go. The rooms look lovely too, and the beds are decently comfy!

The receptionist are very friendly and helpful. It’s located in a serene area and allows you to commute to other places in the city. I have had amazing times and would always book igloo

Loved that we were tucked out of the way of everything, staff were lovely and for the price I'd say the room was more than worth it. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Good bed for the night, nice and simple but with a little flare in decoration. Just off from the square so ideal location for a night out. We did get woken by church bells but it only started at 8am so not the end of the world.

Stayed for just one night but would happily spend a week. Spotless, comfortable, private room with loads of space. Quirky place with great facilities (including a proper kitchen in the shared areas) and 30 seconds walk to the Market Square. This will be my first choice next time I'm staying in Nottingham.

Unfortunately I never got the chance to stay in this hotel because of a national rail strike, so I had to cancel my booking. But the staff was amazing, they gave me all the info to try to get to Nottingham and they refunded me when I had to cancel my stay last minute. Many thanks especially to Mark, he was so kind and helpful, I really appreciated it!

The staff was absolutely kind and friendly but the hostel was totally mess. There was no window in the room and even it was really hard to move inside the room. Beds were not clean and there was lots of hairs around. Unfortunately it was disgusting.

Nice hostel well located, friendly staff and clean. Room was small but all as expected, would recommend

Roight in the centre of Nottingham, within walking distance of everything, yet still somehow manages to feel tucked away. The staff are great, wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

A beautiful hotel/hostel. I stayed here for only one night and was thoroughly blown away by the amazing quality of the room I stayed in (see pictures), the service from staff who were so lovely and how convenient this hostel was to locate and travel to and from the train station. Despite being in pretty much the heart of city centre, I slept soundly and experienced no disturbances during the night. It also helps that because it's in the heart of the city centre, everything you want to see or explore in Nottingham is accessible by foot. As it is a hostel as well, there is a communal kitchen to use so I just thought I'd point that out. Not that that's a problem for me but people might expect there to be room service. Igloo Hybrid was more than worth the price and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Nottingham!

Don't be put off by the words 'Hostel' or 'Backpackers' Lovely, spacious and clean room Bang in the heart of Nottingham! Staff were fantastic, value for money was excellent, would highly recommend.

Lovely warm staff, the lounge is very nice and colourful. It's in a great location and in the middle of a very pretty high Street. I get my own personal lamp which I love.

Loved this hostel. Great vibe and really friendly staff. And SUPER comfortable beds. I had a great nights sleep!! Free coffee and tea and a lovely area to chill for breakfast, or once you've checked out. I was able to charge my phone in comfort and wake up easy before heading back out into town. I was here just one night for a festival and it was really conveniently located in the middle of town and not far from the train or coach station. I'd booked a dorm but they offered for me to move to another room as there was only guys in the dorm that night. This was a very unexpected and appreciated gesture which just really made me feel valued and respected. Thank you. (Of course this was because they could due to availability and shouldn't be expected!!) Thank you Igloo Hostel. β€οΈβœ¨πŸ™πŸΌ

This is a great little hostel. I booked one of the shared bedrooms, a bit hesitant and apprehensive about it, I've never had to share a bedroom before, I'm very private but I had no issues though. Everything is really clean and spotless, the beds are really comfortable (pillows could be better tbh) and staff are friendly and helpful. There is a shared kitchen that has everything you will need. Location is well within walking distance to all the pubs and clubs, I would definately recommend and will be using this hostel again next month.

Good hostel in the center of town, lots of private rooms if that's your preference. We didn't use the kitchen, but there's tea available all day and night. The people on reception were very helpful and our room and bathroom were clean. I was afraid it might get noisy on a Saturday but the windows worked well and we had no trouble. The wifi in our room was spotty.

Great location in quiet courtyard in town centre. Nice vibe, cosy communal lounge and kitchen. Coffee, tea provided. Manned reception, keys to front door and room. Good wifi. The perfect backpackers hostel.

Out of the way but very interesting find. 5 Day stay during work experience. The city clock tower is very noisy and the noise can be loud at night but quality stay and very friendly receptionist. I did not however appreciate the two German women talking all night about how England is `The real harry potter :(`

I didn't know we were booking into a hostel when I booked on booking.com It was in a brilliant position and spotlessly clean The only downside was having to go downstairs to the bathroom but otherwise I was quite impressed with my first ever experience of staying in a hostel

  • 5/5 Andrew B. 2 years ago on Google
Caring staff excellent stay really enjoyed it close to all amenities in town

  • 5/5 Peter N. 2 years ago on Google
I enjoyed the comfort of the place. Cosy is an understatement...good Job!

  • 5/5 Barbara R. 4 years ago on Google
Cosy, friendly, and in the centre of town. Because it's in a courtyard of a traffic restricted street it's also quiet. The church bells are audible but not intrusive. There is a good kitchen and sitting room. It's very clean and the rooms are a good size. I'll be back.

Saying the staff is friendly would be an insult. They are really, really, really friendly. Great atmosphere, clean rooms, nice interactions with other guests because of the living room and the garden. Really cheap, so don't expect indoor gyms, jacuzzi and other luxurious (and expensive) features. Matrasses are pretty good, bathrooms are better than average (and really clean). If you're looking for a cheap place to stay and plan to spend most of your time in the city (walking distance), you found the best spot!

We recently stayed in the raft room which my youngest found incredibly let with its animal pirate theme. It was tidy clean and we found staff to be very helpful. There is a good sized kitchen in the basement, be careful of the steep stairs. We highly recommend this venue and its staff and will see them again soon.. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant and memorable one.

Staff were exceptional! Allowed me to store my bags hours before check in and helped carry luggage upstairs. Only had a small room without window and yet was still 10x better than the travelodge up the road that was double the price! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Amazing value for the money!

Seriously smart place. Smack in the middle of town. Shops bars clubs food tourist destinations all very close. Perfect location, warm welcome and clean. Couldn't as for any more πŸ‘πŸ»

Can't get much better than a place as central and cheap as this. Rooms are very clean and come with a towel included. Staff are all so friendly and helpful when it comes to local questions/ recommendations. A very spacious but cosy shared kitchen and lounge area to cook and meet other guests. Have stayed here twice so far to visit a tattoo studio and will gladly be coming back once more in the near future. Thanks again!

Loved it..tucked away off the main street but makes everywhere accessible on a trip out. Cross between a hotel and hostel style with shared communal area facilities. Rooms are simple but well done with good quality bedding and comfy beds. The room had its own bathroom just outside on the landing, they are also to a good standard. Hot water for coffee is available in a flask at bottom of stairs, this is the only reason I deducted a star as would prefer kettle in room. Outdoor seating area nicely designed too and the staff couldn't be more helpful

  • 5/5 Joy B. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Not luxurious, but no one stays in a hostel hoping to get luxury. Place is clean, there's enough hot water, unlimited amounts of coffee for guests and free wifi. The common room is beautiful and is a space where you can just chill out and meet new people, then there's an outdoor seating area just off it. It's a walking distance from the train station, close to bus and tram stops and even though it's located right in the town center, it is quiet. There's black cabs in front of this hostel as well. You don't have to wonder about meals, because there's a variety of places with a variety of meals within a 2 minute walk to the hostel. I would 100% recommend this place

Spacious, modern and well kept rooms with private facilities. Access to decent shared kitchen - staff warm, welcoming and willing to go the extra distance. Will recommend to friends and will be visiting often. Keep up the good work!

Perfect hostel in centre of town. I didn't have a padlock so staff lent me one rather than sell one. Fully equipped kitchen, good showers. Was also surprisingly quiet considering such a central location.

I stayed here for 1 night with 2 other family members, it as very colourful and bright paintings which give it character, very friendly and welcoming staff, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, but no tellys anywhere.also they could do with better mirrors, everywhere is very clean, I would definitely stay again.

Excellent. I've used the budget chain hotels in Notts for a while, but this place easily beats them for cleanliness and charm. I was on my own, but there are good social spaces for small groups to hang out in. The central location, tucked in a small mews gives this an almost boutique feel.

Super friendly and helpful staff upon arrival, room was clean and comfy, can't pick any faults with the place whatsoever! Ideal for anyone going to Rock City as it's located right in between the venue and the train station with a short walk to each Would 100% stay again!

Great staff, great facilities, great value. 1 small suggestion would be please improve the wifi in the outer rooms.

I love this place, I will definitely continue to stay here whenever I visit Nottingham. The staff are great. The rooms are fun & clean. The beds are super comfortable. I can't think what more anyone could need from accommodation.
