We went for one night, we booked a room with two double beds as there was three of us. It was actually ideal as my brother is very big so a single bed wouldn't have been suitable. The room was reasonably clean, very spacious and pleasing to the eye, I did like the decor. It offers the usual amenities, coffee and tea tray, little soaps, lots of towels, an iron board and an iron, some hangers and a closet. It had a nice desk with a desk chair too. Nice looking TV with the average channels, free WIFI but couldn't use it as it was on and off all the time. However, I do have a complaint. I couldn't sleep all night due to the sound of what I believe was the fans or generators? outside of the hotel. Our window was just in front of the low ceiling and even with the window closed you could actually feel the sound, let alone hear it. I would stay again, but not where we where put.

Stayed here 24-2-2023 for the night Lovely room and comfortable beds. Worth staying for the night. But pricey £90 for one night & breakfast not included so wouldn’t stay again especially not enough milk for a coffee when awake but has a kettle!! Recommend bringing own condiments. Overall clean, comfortable, attractive but not worth £90 a night to sleep 1 night. Worth 2-3 stars

Room very clean and good size. Bethany and Marina in restaurant at breakfast were so kind and attentive especially with our 4y and 18m old at breakfast. Nothing too much trouble for them.

Couldn't fault the hotel or service we got. Rooms were spacious and clean and they went to the effort to provide us with enough beds so none of the kids had to share plus adjoining, connected rooms. They also made sure we had arranged our party so we all qualified for the free breakfast. Excellent! The hotel was a pleasant walk down the canal to town, though a fairly decent distance (3km or so). Felt like a proper hotel stay for less than the cost of the budget inns.

Great hotel, stayed while we visited the Christmas market on the 9th Dec 2023, Ground floor room for myself & wife. room was clean & tidy, very comfy bed & had a great nights sleep. dinner & breakfast was very good & cooked lovely. if i was to say anything needed changing, would be the sofas at the bar, too soft that it makes you feel they are broken. All staff from check Inn to check Out was great. & very helpful / polite. i would stay here again. full top 5*

Had a great stay at the hotel, perfect location and lovely staff. Rooms are spacious and tidy. Our request too was honoured. Highly recommended!

Amazing staff. The counter staff who checked us in and the restaurant staff all were amazing. Very friendly and caring. Professional too. Clean rooms, dining area and toilets. Staff deserve special mention.

Great hotel, relaxed warm and friendly experience. Room was overall very good and the staff make it a good place to stay. Value for money was excellent in comparison to the nearby Premier Inn. The breakfast was very good lots of choice and the full cooked breakfast was excellent.

The friendly welcome on arrival and the bright and sophisticated ambience were nice. The breakfast staff were lovely and personable. I could see that they were busy but still in good spirits, helping the guests. The cleaning staff also did a great job looking after the hotel

A nice hotel in a good location. The check-in was very quick and easy and the staff in the bar/restaurant were great. Breakfast is self-service with everything you would expect in a full English breakfast, plus cereals and juice, etc. The food served in the restaurant for the evening meal was nice too. The room was clean, had air conditioning and the bed was comfortable. My only minor complaint was that my room was on the ground floor so there was quite a bit of noise coming from the bar area, but the bar doesn't stay open too late so it wasn't much of a problem. If you are bothered by noise then you may want to request a room on a higher floor.

Room very out dated and disappointing, loud bathroom fan that kept me up all night and no plug next to the bed (only on the other side of the room). Tea tray is tucked in to a cupboard with a false drawer so is dangerous when opened as you don't expect the whole cupboard to open on your arm. Breakfast was disappointing, both hot and cold selection were dry as if they had been sat for a long time. Not what you expect for £130 mid week stay. Only positive was the great staff at breakfast who were very friendly. Would not come back to this hotel if I was in the area.

Absolutely fabulous stay. I’ve been before, but this time, I was out on a team building thing with work, opposed to being in the office. I am a vegetarian, but to add to it, I can’t eat gluten. Amy and Matthew were absolutely incredible, running about to make me something. despite it being well after hours. I’ll be back! Chloe

We stayed at this hotel as we were down for a night out. Everything was plain sailing from check-in to check out. The rooms were clean and tidy and breakfast was spot on. I would definitely stop again. Prime location if going into town only £6 in taxi 10mins.

Quite the cozy hotel. Relatively centrally located, Nottingham center within walking distance but be prepared to walk quite briskly if you want to get there quick. Spacious, gated parking space for when you arrive by car. Spacious open reception area and very helpful staff. Combined breakfast, dinner and hotel pub/bar area. Breakfast was what we expected from a good English breakfast and the pub was cozy to spend some time late on a Saturday. Decent rooms, the beds were very spacious and good. Slighly low temperature in the rooms (visited late March) but we were mostly out so it wasn't much of an issue. Overall I was very satisfied, and for location close to good pubs and Warhammer World this will be a hotel I will return to next time I come to Nottingham.

Stayed 1 night with my son and daughter. We were attending a wedding In Nottingham, after a long journey and arriving late in the night, our check in was smooth and welcoming. Room was very clean and all necessities provided. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were accommodating. Location is ideal and near city centre.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Alex & Tia in the restaurant. We stayed at the Nottingham City Centre branch back in January, (sorry I know this is a few months old) but the service in the restaurant was impeccable. We did not pre-book breakfast given we were staying in town but, when we popped down the first morning Alex couldn't do enough for us, nothing was an issue! Super bubbly and welcoming 🤗 Tia, was at the desk when we popped down the following morning, again great service and happy to help. Keep up the work team you made our experience a Great one! Generally we found the room layout nice, clean & tidy - who doesn't like a kettle in the room 😊 Please fill up the shower gels in the shower, they were completely empty & my guy had to use my Clarins 😒

Booked two rooms last minute for a family get together and we were all really pleased with the hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. There was a desk so I could work in the morning. Kettle with tea and coffee, decent hairdryer and plenty of fresh towels. Breakfast room was busy when we visited, but the staff got us sat together by pushing a couple of tables together - great service. You can order e.g omelette and they'll cook it fresh for you or use the buffet. Plenty of sausage, bacon and eggs etc. It never ran out. Or there is a continental and cereal station. To try and stagger the peak times, they book you in the night before - we had choices such as 7.30, 8.15 or 9am so it all worked really well. This is a good Holiday Inn.

This is a big hotel which is very popular with commercial travellers. A wrap around car park gives space for parking, there is a small indoor gym on the ground floor just off the entrance area. Our room was good size, nice bathroom, breakfast is available which was surprisingly good, the hot food was tasty, we really enjoyed it 😋 The location is within easy walking distance of the castle and centre, either by road or along the canal. There is a Sainsbury's just across the road, plus a pub and other restaurants. If we were to visit Nottingham again, we would happily stay here again.

We booked 2 executive suite rooms for 4 people. It is nice and has a comfy bed. Customer care are quick to respond to our requests. Unfortunately pillows aren’t comfortable, slightly too firm for any of our liking and had wakeful night coz of it.

I'm sure the refurbished rooms advertised are lovely, however we were given a room on the 3rd floor that was old, dated and not as clean as it should have been. I expect to get what is advertised or maybe pay less for a lesser quality. Staff were great and food options at breakfast were plentiful.

The greeting at reception and helpful staff were very welcome after a 7 hour drive. The room was just a standard hotel room but it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were just right. The ensuite bathroom was also very clean and the towels were big and fluffy. Breakfast, which was included, was great if you liked a fryup, plenty of hot options. There were other dishes you could ask for but I didn't discover this until the day before I left. The hotel is located near the canal and there were good paths for walking. Also near Nottingham Castle. I was there for a sports event, not on holiday so I didn't have a chance to look around.

Lovely hotel with great, friendly staff. Super comfortable room, and great breakfast. Sweet little bar area to relax in the evening too. BUT, my goodness is the bar / food expensive. In my experience these prices should be charged outside of London. Breakfast £14.50. In the bar, a pint of lager and a double Martini and coke - £14.50. Double Tia Maria and a gin and tonic, £18.00

This is our second time staying here as we are coming up to Nottingham each year. The breakfast is always lovely and our beds are so comfy. However this time around the service we received is a joke. The breakfast staff stand around and stare at all the people eating as they are waiting to get the dirty dishes, I almost felt as if I should’ve rushed my food as a whole group of staff were stood there watching !! I have a compliant which we were not happy about at all. We used a room sign which stated enjoying the moment come back later. We were out most of the day but we put that sign to stop anyone coming in. That evening upon arrival we smelt cleaning products and our towels moved around… but we had a sign on our door. We had valuables out in the open and snacks, in which some of our snacks were taken. Good that we had PAID for stolen and we checked all our bags to double check this ! This was mentioned at clocking out of the hotel but was totally disregarded. This does not give us much confidence in coming back next year and we might just use a different hotel. There are signs there for a reason, even if we were out! What would’ve happened if we were in the room and a member of your staff just barged in! a total disregard for privacy. I understand there is a different sign for no service even so! Read the sign and follow your own company policy.

Had an excellent visit here. Staff really nice, room was excellent. I am type 1 diabetic and needed some sugar, lady at bar was really helpful by giving me the names of appropriate things they had. In past I've had to ask for sweets & guess what is stocked that is suitable, can be hard work. This girl was able to tell me appropriate things that they had, when hypo your brain doesn't always think clearly so I can't say how helpful this was. Highly recommended. Didn't fluster when I asked, calmly gave me options, truly wonderful. Also nice walk into town along canal near Sainsburys. Wonderful place

The room couldn’t be faulted. Stayed in an executive room and the bed was huge and insanely comfortable. The bathroom was lovely. Furniture all in perfect condition. Complimentary waters and a chocolate, percolator and coffee as well as teas etc. even notes saying if you need anything like toiletries the hotel is happy to provide. Honestly can’t rate it enough!

Room was a great size, clean and fresh looking. Check in staff are very good and friendly. Decent bar/lounge if a little small.

Friendly welcome initially, room good size and clean. Tried to put the tv on before bed and it was just a black screen with volume, we tried to turn off and back on but nothing worked. We eventually had to leave it playing because the off button stopped working! The toilet was making odd loud sounds throughout the night which disturbed sleep. Breakfast staff were rushed off their feet, although very friendly and attentive as possible. Location slightly further out than what we thought, tram station within 10 minutes and Uber easy :)
