I give zero star to this location, The management have no sense how to talk with there customers, No privacy, only two toilets and living more than 20 people, long waiting hours to use toilets, very bad experience. I say all of you please do not go there choose some other location, it you go there you will very regretful , think 100 times before going there. Management is very cheap Thank you

I don't understand these poor reviews regarding cleanliness, lack of locks and noise. For the price and central location (5 min walk from main bars and pubs) what more can you expect? It's clean, warm, secure, has free tea and coffee and the reception staff are welcoming - stay here expecting a 3+ star standard and you'll be disappointed. Stay here expecting a warm and comfy place to get your head down after a night out and it's ideal. There is noise, but what else is to be expected from a city centre? Also the stairs are a little steep (a bit hard to navigate when you've had a few, but not impossible). We would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay with good facilities, and pubs, restaurants and tram all within arm's reach. Very welcoming host, and I'll definitely stay there again if I'm in this area. Very cheap to, thank you πŸ‘πŸ€“

Located in the gobsmack centre of the city, about a 2 minute walk away from literally everything in this city. The host was very proactive, kind and helpful. The hostel is very very clean and very well maintained. If you need a place to crash for a night or so, you couldn't have a better option at this price point.

The bed was a bunk bed, rather creaky. The pillow was quite uncomfortablen and the sheer amount of stairs, absolutely sucked. The shower was like hacking a numpad, trying to get the right combo of settings as the heating was awful on most, absolutely freezing, just about managed to get it to an okay standard after minutes of configuring it Oh and all this whilst the bathroom light was flashing on an off whilst also flickering. The locks on the door didn't seem robust, the handle isn't quite attached firmly to the door. As for noise, it was difficult to get to sleep with the busy city life, at one point fireworks went off, absolutely no idea why. Entrance was fine. The receptionist was okay.

This was a budget friendly place for me when trying to sort my accommodation upon arriving Nottingham for eight nights. So far you respect other lodgers and the rules, you'd love your stay.

I liked the calmness and friendly service by the receptionist. It’s a place which has love as one of its core values for customers. It’s a great place!!!

Location is amazing, especially if you're going on a night out. The owner/ manager was so so lovely and talkative, super friendly. The rooms were really nice too, very clean and had cute decorations and lots of plug sockets in convenient places. Would go again.

I "stayed" for one night and after being given my bed and dropping my stuff I went out for dinner. When I was back someone else had been given my bed and was sleeping with my stuff. I took my things and had to ask a friend to stay in his sofa because there was no one there I could complain. Literally paid for a place I didn't even use.

Totally First class. Firstly this is a warm and clean, welcoming and well-appointed premium hostel at a budget price,a and with an excellent central location in Nottingham. I had a very positive visit here. Over and above that, though, I was superbly managed and treated after a nightmare situation thanks to that incompetent shambles Booking.com. They had cancelled a booking due to a card blocking that day (due to a too much contactless swiping - but I was at a business conference) With great kindness, the owner honored my booking, was hugely helpful and swiftly checked me into a pleasant, airy shared room. I got a quick and helpful tour and a soul-reviving shower, after a quick brief of the sensible house rules and a few local quirks (a nearby pub empties its glass bins late at night - nothing too onerous). He also mentioned a few disappointing occasions when he had been unable to help people 'auto-messed up' by online booking systems. The kitchen and lounge are very pleasant and bright, and the beds are good. I have no hesitation in recommending and will be sure to return. Thank you MTH Nottingham!

Avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid. The worst commodation I've ever stayed in my life. I was extremely insulted by the manager because I chose to cook pork in the kitchen. Obviously English and Irish on not welcome at your premises. Absolutely horrified by your behaviour towards me. Thank you so much for your hospitality was on this occasion I will definitely not be returning. As for the Β£60 that you overcharged me you obviously need the money more than me good luck and goodbye

While looking for an accommodation to let as a student of NTU, I had to spend 2 nights here. The experience was heart warming. Midtown is clean, peaceful, comfortable and friendly room mates. 2 bathrooms / toilets, so everyone (usually busy roomies) don't have to wait long queues). Free WiFi, Kitchen access where you can prepare YOUR OWN FOOD and leaving room area is open to everyone where you can meet and make new friends from all over the world. Had a great time 😘

Cracking location, friendly staff and clean room. We stayed in a 3 bed private room and I'm very happy with everything. There are the obvious pitfalls of noise and small room but what do you expect for very cheap in the location

Actually much better than I expected, booked by the office as a stop over whilst working in town I was a bit concerned but it was much better than expected, clean and tidy room with a clean and tidy shared bathroom. Was a little noisy from the nightclubs outside but didn't prevent a good night sleep. Cheap as chips and reasonable to sleep for the money I can't really fault it.

Went on a five week study trip, booked a week here, stayed for another four. Extremely nice staff, I can honestly say that I grew fond of them. Felt really homey and would certainly visit again just to meet up with regular guests and staff.

Superb little dormitory type HOSTEL located right in the centre of the city. Cheap, clean and very friendly. Private rooms available. It isn't quiet, but it is what it is. Go on, you know you want to......

If you are a backpacker, travelling through UK in a budget then this hostel is perfect for you. It's quite cheap. The manager of this place is helpful as well.

Midtown Hostel was an amazing experience with equally as amazing people, a true home for backpackers and you would be absolutely kidding yourself if you thought there was a better hostel in Nottingham!
