The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were large, clean and comfy beds! Breakfast was nice and nice view of the water from the restaurant section of the hotel. Parking was £16 for 24 hrs and the car park is small I struggled to get a space and this was on a weekday. If you move your car then the payment charge starts again. Which I had no idea about until I got there, so if you are staying please put money aside for this or prepare to walk or use public transport. Location is good though, near to train station. Would return.

My experience at Premier Inn. Basic. Don't be so mean with sugar coffee and tea. The room was paid for. Not asking for charity. The lift area on ground floor skirting board needed a lick of pain like someone thirsty in the desert. Business is business. I earn my money as a customer I expect to be treated right. Also stains on carpet/vacuuming needs to be looked into. The restaurant short staffed service but no reduction in hotel bill. If you're taking people's money, calling yourself a business behave like one; you're to wrong to hike prices up then provide poor services. Everybody blames Covid for slackness, this is why at the end of the financial year many "business" will go down. Not acceptable. Those who treat customers with respect may survive

Absolutely amazing hotel with the most brilliant service and care shown by the team (Helen, Lorraine and Gary). It was my first stay at a Premier Inn and I would definitely stay here again. Lovely rooms. Quiet and very clean, food delicious and I even had a bath! Perfect. Spotless hotel with amazing service. I would highly recommend! :-) xxx

Great hotel in perfect location for our needs, a short walk to the ice rink. Good price for a one night stay. Staff were fabulous, friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble, in fact they seemed genuinely pleased to help! 👍 Made it feel like a home from home, perfect service 👏 a huge well done and thank you to you all 😊

TV reception was pretty poor, couldn’t check in until 3pm unless we wanted to pay £10. Stay overall comfortable, beds were slightly dirty.

As we had a room at the back it was away from the road, so can not say what the rooms are like there. However the room we got was brilliant, no noise and actually a very comfortable bed. For the quick stay over we wanted, it was above and beyond. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast worthwhile. I would recommend.

I have no idea how the experience has changed so much since the last reviews 2 months ago… but this has been a joke. The reception on arrival were beyond unwelcoming, were blunt and seemed to not know how to give us our room. We then booked breakfast the next morning at 10:00AM on the dot, arrived on time and they told us that our booking was 10:30, I have confirmation that it was 10:00. Anyway we then came down at 10:30 and have been sat waiting for our food for about an hour and a half. If you stay here the rooms are fine, but get breakfast elsewhere, completely understaffed and unorganised.

Our stay here was brilliant. There was a problem with the lift not working but the staff were amazing especially Lee and Anthony helping us carry things upstairs and sorting a room for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We did the £10 early check in and that was great, gave us far more time to relax. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were there for a concert and would definitely stay there again

A standard Premier Inn. Arrived mid-afternoon and was given a room on 2nd floor. The room was perfect, as usual, and met the PI standard easily. Room was clean. Hotel is great location 5 minutes walk from city center, and 5 minutes walk to the train station. Only issue is noise as to keep the room cool you need the window open, and this hotel is situated on a busy road. Closed windows and air con would be the only improvement, but that really isn't a big deal! Would stay again if ever needed to be in the area.

Very conveniently located for both the Motorpoint Arena and the trendy Lace Market area. You know what you are going to get at a Premier Inn - clean, comfortable rooms at a decent price. Some rooms look out onto a main road and can be a bit noisy if you need the window open for any reason. Staff are very friendly but the breakfast is a little bit of a let down. It's well priced at £9.95 but I would be prepared to pay a few quid more for better quality produce.

Great experience at this hotel. Staff were very helpful especially Michelle, room was very clean. As much tea & coffee as you can drink & also gave me a large jug of ice water to take to the room. Would definitely stay again.

What amazing stay at a premier inn. The staff were phenomenal and they accomadtated me so well. A lovely chat and great night. Natalie and Kyrsha were the highlight of the night and would 100%% go back again. Best premier inn nust for the night shift staff alone!!

This hotel has exceeded all expectations. Our job takes us all around the UK and this hotel is by far the best in every way. The staff have been amazing ! Nothing is ever a problem and have gone above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Daniel the chef I understand is from another hotel but has brought his skills with him, food is delicious everytime. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. We are gutted this job has come to an end and have to leave. We wish all the staff all the best and a massive thank you. From The twins

Stopped here many times and always a great stay. Rooms always clean, breakfast is lovely and the staff are always welcoming, polite and friendly. Best Premier Inn hotel I've stopped at.

Easy to find from Train station it’s around corner on main road. Booking in was easy and ladies in reception were very friendly and efficient. Room was normal clean premier inn rooms only thing was a smoke smell so we opened windows and went out into town. Didn’t have breakfast but we did have a pint 🍺 night before. Definitely will stay again

I stayed at the hotel for around 15 days in September and everything and everyone were wonderful. All the people that work there were very nice to me, very helpful, very friendly, always knew what I wanted before I asked for it and really made me feel like home and safe. Charlotte (if I remember the name correctly) was always there to help me with everything I needed even when I was asking for help. I totally recommend to everyone staying in the hotel as they will have a 5 star experience.

Stayed for a week, clean room, clean outside area, clean restaurant and best of all, amazing staff!!!! Gary, Helen, Lorraine, Michelle, Sanya (I think I spelt wrong sorry!), Lee, Dianne and the chefs have been brilliant (food was so good too!) Nothing has been too much trouble. Even when large parties have been there, they have been apologising but obviously can't do 10 things at once! For the ones I didn't get the name of, you were fantastic too. I can't wait to come again. Missing the place already.

I've seldom enjoyed being stuck in traffic outside a hotel more. What a lovely building to look at whilst inching forward during rush hour. Certainly close to all the best local spots, I sometimes daydream about staying there, in fact, one evening I may if the opportunity arises.

I stay in Premier Inn on a regular basis. This hotel has very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and a great restaurant. In addition the proximity to the city centre is spot on.

A good location for us, stayed a few times. Nice restaurant for breakfast looking onto the canal and an excellent continental breakfast and nice friendly staff

Luckily enough to have a perfect stay, room was clean, staff were very helpful during my time in Nottingham. Best premier hotel in the region by far, bespoke care and a drive to make things easy. Breakfast was top notch and the meal deals were within budget. Highly recommended a stay by the canal with lots of rich history and close amenities within 10 minutes. Would be visiting again.

You know exactly what you will get with a Premier Inn. Clean room. Good service etc. Watch out for the carpark though. It is privately owned and they tried to fine me for non payment. I had paid and luckily still had the text from them confirming payment.

I have stayed at Premier Inn many times. This one was particularly impressive. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside and the reception area is small however the bedroom and bathroom were spacious, clean and very comfortable. My room was at the end of the corridor but was quiet and I slept like a log. The staff were bright and friendly. Really good value for money. It's only a 10 minute walk into Nottingham where there are lots of places to eat, so I didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast. The only disappointment I had was with the car park. I was happy to pay £12 for an overnight stay but I didn't realise I had to pay every time I entered and exited the car park, which resulted in an £18 charge. On the whole I would highly recommend this Premier Inn if you are looking for budget quality accommodation in Nottingham.

Lorraine and the whole team here Leigh Michelle, Helen, Kelly are absolutely amazing! They work very hard managing front of house and the restaurant. Every member of staff is a credit to this branch. Friendly 5* service Food is really nice too. Thank you chef Danny

Standard room, clean and tidy on arrival, tea/ coffee etc. Beds were rather bouncy and narrow- twin bedded room and one had been placed under the lamp so my friend couldn't sit up in her bed. Good breakfast, receptionist and staff met our needs. Would stay again if in Nottingham

Fantastic hotel. It's a bit dated but it's what you'd expect from a premier Inn. Staff are exceptional, breakfast is good and the location is so handy. As always the beds are very comfortable and everything is clean.

Nice clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely cooked breakfast. Only disappointment was that the additional bed in our family room was not very comfortable.

Comfy clean room and venue convenient for the Arena but little else. We asked about the bar and we’re told it closes at 11 but often serves til 11:15 when busy if we could get back. They would not consider prior purchase or think outside the box. We did not want to go to the City Centre as I was with two older people with limited mobility. However, it took us a while to exit the Motorpoint due to waiting for the lift so we arrived back at 23:08 and were refused service at the busy bar as it had closed promptly. The staff could not have cared less. Our night was blighted by this. Will not be using this hotel again.

The room was not very clean, coffee stains up walls, carpets dirty. Due to weather windows were open on a main road so sleep was poor. £13 to park is disgraceful! But...what amazing staff. I would return due to the breakfast staff (Jake and a lady) who were so friendly at 6.45am. Their customer service skills were amazing and they went above and beyond to help me. Just wow to these guys.

Room was clean, the temperature control was all about heating not cooling so too stuffy for us. Windows were accessible to open, but being next to a busy road meant alot of noise throughout the night and a poor nights sleep.

Just what you would expect - rooms clean but not quite spanking clean, plenty of space, quiet, decent and filling breakfast for £9.5 and mostly friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for an overnight stay.

What can I say apart from amazing. I travel up from London every year for EM CON and I always stay here. Why?......not only is it a short walk to the arena but the service is great and all the staff are fabulous. I recently stayed here from 24th to the 28th of May and the staff were all brilliant, so friendly and professional. I can't single anyone out as they were all great. Thank you so much.

With the opening of a new restaurant and music venue literally next door, plus it's proximity to other night life, the hotel is very noisy at the weekends and the car park is full from early evening. It is convenient for the city centre but I wouldn't recommend it if you have children or don't want to get woken up by people returning to their rooms in the early hours. Disappointing.

Nice budget hotel. 8 mins from train station and 10 mins walk from the old town. Comfy bed. Staff very friendly which really goes a long way Breakfast not bad for the price.

I’ve stopped in a lot of hotels this year and I’ve got to say this is the best Premier inn hotel ever, the best nights sleep ever in any hotel, it had triple glazing and the hotel is so quiet even from connecting rooms. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also the best ever in a premier inn, you have to book a time for your breakfast rather than just turning up and it’s cooked for you rather than a help yourself but you get to choose what you want when you order it. Cooked to perfection every time. Also ate evening meal there which was also amazing. The restaurant has an awesome view over the canal and at night you get lovely reflections, see my photos. The room was very large. The car park is next to the hotel and costs £14 a day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nottingham, obviously it’s perfectly located for the Arena.

Stayed here after a night at the Arena. Spacious rooms, big comfy bed and all very clean. The breakfast was great too... Continental or full English all as much as you like, plus unlimited coffee refills. Would definitely come back

I just wanted to say that the service at this hotel was outstanding! I've stayed at many hotels previously but I have never received such fantastic service like I have here! They made us feel like they welcomed us into their own home. Nothing was too much for them. Especially from Kelly and Lorraine, you have made our stay the absolute best and I would 100% recommend this place to anyone, solely because of you two in particular. You both went above and beyond for us and I can't tell you how much we appreciate your friendly and professional manners. This was our first time out in over two years and you truly made it special for us. Really, thank you to all the staff here at Premier Inn. You all deserve a raise for being such great hosts. Kindest Regards, Keeley Middleton (Room 504)
