We stayed here on 12 September and stayed in room 103 on the first floor. The room was what you'd expect from a Premier Inn, with a comfy bed and nice pillows. However, on entering the first floor corridor the ambient temperature was obvious way too high. The temperature in the room was the same even though the window was open and a fan was on full. The temperature outside was about 17 degrees yet the receptionist claimed no heating was on in the hotel! Also that the website was clear than there was no air conditioning in the rooms. We were not complaining about air con, just turn the heating down! The temperature in reception must have been about 10 degrees or more cooler than the room! The window only opened a tiny amount, probably due to some over the top health and safety rule, and having it open meant we had to put up with traffic noise. We slept all night with no duvet and the bed was soaked with our sweat in the morning. Come on Premier Inn, you can do better than this!

The hotel was amazing. Clean, quiet and just perfect. The food at the hotel was great too. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the attached pub/restaurant... the food there was almost inedible. I think the cooking oil must have been used to cook the last supper.. everything was almost black and tasted the same. Sent it all back and had a takeaway instead.

An odd setup with meals, they serve a freshly cooked breakfast in a small but airy day room. No AC so rooms to the front were VERY hot. Still not cleaning rooms for people staying more than/ night. Local pub food was great. It has lots of free parking.

Stayed for 2 nights, breakfast including. The staff were nice and helpful. The room clean but the bed not so comfortable especially the pillows and this caused me to not sleep too well. I also found that there was noise, people walking about in the evening and in the morning people talking outside my door! The breakfast overall was ok, sausages and mushrooms were nice but the eggs overcooked, it was freshly cooked and hot. The baked goods not so fresh though. For me the hotel was in a good location, the bus route to town easy and cheap. Overall nothing to stop me from booking again should i need to stay in that area.

Staff especially Sylvia and Ammilia who cooked and served my breakfast which was excellent All Staff were very pleasant and gracious This was exceptional as I have stayed in many Premier Inn places but this place was far above any other place I have stayed

Ceilings / floors are made of paper and lack sound deadening... we kept waking up to people moving upstairs all night. The cot fir our son was basically 4 planks of wood. There was no anti slip mat in shower, dangerous when stepping out after showering.

Used the hotel for my wedding party for my wedding at Goosedale. The team were a great help with the group booking. They made getting everyone checked in really easy. Rooms were to a high standard. Plenty of room in the family rooms too. Everyone loved breakfast too. Couldn’t fault it. The team were incredible! Even decorated my room with some bridal decor! Thank you!

As we got there.. we were pleased with the room we were staying in, however, we got to discover the stains on the bottom sheets and the duvets which were yellow, and a red blood type of stain.. we then asked the staff to change them or even just place some new sheets in the room, however they failed to do that. After a half decent nights sleep, we were woken up at 7:30am to children running around upstairs banging on the floor. Would not stay again.

Ideal for my needs. Outside city centre so not useful if you need to be more central. Comfortable rooms but limited tea tray offerings. Breakfast choice is good. Staff very helpful.

We stay here because of the location. Only provided towels for one person even though we booked as a double. Rooms are not cleaned unless you ask due to COVID restrictions !! They ended 18 months ago. On the plus side the staff were amazing and main reason they got 3 stars

My son was bitten on the back in bed. In the morning, I showed the staff the bite and they promised to take a look. After we got back in the evening around 8.30pm I spoke to reception and expressed my fears. She was very nice and showed me pictures in the maids room and the bed bug bite looked like my son's bite. She explained that they usually left marks on the sheets and there was no need to worry. We got into the room as my son take shower I started looking through sheets, covers and on the mattress protector I found two small spots of blood . My son had 2 spots on his back too. After discovering them, I decided that we could not stay in this room any longer. They didn't have another room and we started looking for another hotel around 10:00 p.m. Our son had a competition and it is very important for us that he rests. It costs us a lot of stress until we find another hotel and move. The child is 9 years old and going to bed late was not good for the tournament next day. I have emailed the management and accordingly they will refund us £50 after we have paid 64.50 for overnight coats and 9.50 for breakfast. Even if they weren't bed bugs, there must have been something that bit our son. Just to say that after we got home we washed everything at 90 degrees to make sure we didn't bring any insects with us.

Staff very helpfull, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms at the rear excellent and quiet. Breakfast award winning selection, quality, staff amazing never had a better breakfast with such dedication to service and quality 6 in the family all have same impression. Well done Premier Inn in all areas at this hotel you knocked any competition out of the water. Thank you from the Walsh family

Stayed here for 4 nights, the staff were very helpful. The room was expected, very clean and tidy. My only gripe was how noisy the floor was, I am sure a herd of elephants was above my room, there are signs asking people to be on tippy toes! Other than that not a bad place to stay for 67 quid a night.

Well having had a long week, I was looking forward to a break. I arrived to be met with an extremely kind lady called Sarah. First impressions are important to me. To be greeted with a smile & checked in straight away was super nice. On top of that my room is very clean & comfortable.

Excellent place to stay if you have an appointment at Nottingham hospital. Rooms very comfortable and quiet, breakfast in the morning great, Greene King bar/restaurant next door superb.

Horrendously hot room, unbearable heat (not a hot weekend 13° at 2am when i looked). Fan offered but didn't make a difference and it was noisy. Didn't sleep a wink, when mentioned to the staff in the morning they said we should have asked for an icepack. Complained under the "good night sleep or your money back" policy and i was told they mentioned on the website there was no aircon so there's nothing they can do about it. This wasn't just a warm room, it felt like a heater was on full blast. Don't know if it was just the room we stayed in (107) or if is a hotel issue. Shame because staff were lovely, breakfast was good and beds were comfy. But I wouldn't recommend this hotel and I would never stay here again.

stayed here for few days due to work and all staff super friendly and accommodating not a single bad word, also shout out to the breakfast chef, such a lovely woman! but the rooms!! i wish i wouldve read the reviews before so i hope you do before booking it! premier inn has never done me dirty like this one.. i did not check that there is no aircon and it was horrendeous indoors. even when the weather cooled down the rooms did not. did not sleep at all on these beds and with no air moving around. windows open only little bit so unless i was sitting under window byebye air!

The pillows need sorting as does the bathroom extractor fan which stays on all night, but everything else is great including the pub next door, which has nice food.

Absolutely lovely staff...couldn't be more helpful, friendly and kind. Delicious, well cooked breakfast. On a very busy main road with lots of emergency vehicles day and night, convenient though. Room v v hot, fan provided but obviously a known issue. Due to amazing staff, would return

The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were lovely too. Nothing was to much to ask. Would definitely highly recommend. The only down fall for me personally was there was no coffee shop/ restaurant to sit and have a coffee during the day so had to stay in my room.

Hands down best Premier Inn breakfast yet, and I've tried a few! Everything was cooked perfectly. All the staff including the Chef were so friendly. Nothing was a problem for them. If only all Premier Inns were like this.

First floor rooms are very hot. Reception staff, customer friendly, changed my room to a slightly better room. Odd numbers on the ground floor are much better. Restaurant staff Chef (Breakfast) Allyson and servers Megan and Kara were very helpful. Breakfast prepared by Allyson's was very good.

Premier Inn clean tidy family room ground floor but was not noisy.. room was light and airy no experience of excessive heat as reported but a nice large desk fan was provided. Breakfast was good with very helpful attentive staff . Check in check out was fine. All good really.

Excellent friendly staff in the kitchen. Rooms nice and clean. Over bath shower and the bath is a bit high to step over

Nice place to stay. The pub next door is a green king pub and great place to eat at for breakfast if you choose not to have breakfast at the premier Inn. Just remember to walk through to the other side of the pub as it's much nicer

This is a great example of a Premierinn at its best! The rooms were modern and look renovated to one of the newer concepts. The room was nice and had plenty of furniture and storage. Service was very friendly. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in ages, with the team in the breakfast room being so welcoming, happy and attentive. Evening meal in the pub next door was good too. Overall a great stay!

We have just returned from a 2 night break visiting family and couldn’t be happier with one stay. Firstly the rooms are very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable - even though there was a busy main road outside our window there was very limited noise. The location is very good with supermarkets, and petrol stations locally, there is a restaurant attached to the hotel, but we didn’t eat here during our stay. The real shining lights for the hotel was the staff and the breakfast. The staff were all so friendly and talkative, they made my young daughter feel extremely welcome. The breakfast is second to none! I believe the lady is called Allyson (sorry if this isn’t correct)! Both mornings she cooked a beautiful breakfast, she was also a very welcoming person - a real credit to the hotel! Looking forward to returning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A good location central to the town (not the city centre so slightly quieter but the town centre so all amenities are close at hand) with friendly staff and comfy rooms. The rooms were very hot, but a sheet had been placed in the room with suggestions on helping to manage the temperature. They have a 'restaurant' downstairs. It is a little small for the number of rooms and people will just sit and chat after they have finished taking up necessary room. Not the fault of the staff I know but it was annoying. The staff worked very hard to accommodate everyone and were helpful. There was a slight confusion about my wife's veggie sausages, but we got them eventually. The country park is about 10 minutes down the road and is a nice place for a walk. In fact it is quite convenient for a number of visitor attractions.

The place is nice. Good inn to stay. However I wished they have intercom in the room so I don't need to come to the front desk anytime I need something

Great location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are as you would expect but was so hot overnight 😞 hence not 5 stars. But perfectly adequate for our needs. Thank you

Usual Premier Inn, friendly staff and good service. The problem is with the temperature in the rooms. There is no AC and the rooms just get too hot even on only warm days. They provide a fan but that just moves the air around, it doesn't cool. If you stay here on a really hot day it will be unbearable.

Unbearable.. didn’t realise there was no air conditioning (my fault because I just presumed). On our third night we actually booked into the cinema just so we could get some sleep in a cool environment! A fan was provided but this does nothing to cool a room that was 33*. It was extremely difficult to get ready for the wedding we were attending as just too warm! Such a shame because the staff are lovely, had to wait a while for breakfast on the second day because the chef had gone for a (very well deserved) break… the breakfast room was stuffy enough, I can’t imagine what working in the small kitchen was like !! Didn’t even bother with breakfast on day 3, just wanted to leave and get out of there! Avoid in summer, will probably be great for winter!

I always find Premier Inns very comfortable and this one was no exception. Reception and restaurant staff very friendly, polite and helpful. All you can eat breakfast just great and the location easy to find with ample parking.

We stayed here because it was close to City Hospital and my husband was booked in for an operation there. He had the op, came out of hospital and within 2 hours was back in with an infection. The staff were so kind and helpful, they were just great. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Bit far out to be honest. Breakfast was top notch! Reception staff very helpful. Rooms at 22° unable to turn lower. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

The attention from the staff was first class and of particular note was the diligence of the team in the breakfast room. Not only did they take great care with Covid/cleanliness they also took exceptional care to ensure my wife’s need for gluten free food was satisfied. Thank you!

Comfortable room, decor was a bit tired and upholstery could do with a spruce up but value for money. Quality and service for cooked breakfast was very good couldn't fault the hospitality very friendly staff.
