One of the best Indian restaurant in Derby. All the foods that we have ordered is absolutely delicious and every bite is full of flavour. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I believe the experience was 50/50. It's a well maintained restaurant and some of the staff were excellent. They messed up the order and gave my friend an extra hot curry, which meant he couldn't really enjoy rest of his meal. We got mixed message around the buy 2 for 1 deal, but that wasnt major. My lamb was well cooked but overall it could have been better. Cost us £30 per head.

Authentic Indian atmosphere with nice suggestions to avoid kill the dish taste if too spicy. Table service is good, maybe a bit confusing with too many people to serve as some plates got switched.. (but it was fixed quickly)

We had booked for a 50th birthday meal - 12 people. We had a really lovely evening to remember. Our table was in a side area which was a little more private and was quieter. The restaurant let us bring a birthday cake and lots of the staff came in during the evening to wish the birthday guy happy birthday, give him special drinks and to generally make us feel welcome. Most people ate different mains - all were delicious. I cannot recommend this restaurant or its lovely staff highly enough. They couldn’t have done more to make our evening enjoyable.

Myself and my partner have been here many a time and always had a fantastic experience but unfortunately last night I can not say the same. I had booked as I always do, and was greeted with no reservation made and the manager wanting to see my confirmation email which I happily showed and was looked at for several minutes before “squeezing us in”. No apology was made which I found very upsetting. The food was fabulous as always but the plates weren’t cleared until after I paid , to which I must say, the waiter asked how much the bill was to input in card machine , surely that is something that they do and not rely on the customer as to be honest I could have said any amount and would have been put through. And then as we were leaving, even though the manager at the front with several staff, did not say bye , which I have not experienced before and I found quite rude considering how a mistake was made regarding reservation. I would like to say that would go back but not for a while as quite a bad experience!

Wonderful service and atmosphere, even though it was very busy we still felt very attended to. The food was exquisite. Thank you to our wonderful server Zaber. Highly recommended! I had the special chicken, king prawn, and lamb Balti and my daughter had a chicken curry - which she says was amazing.

Just had a fantastic meal here at the Viceroy. I cannot fault none of the experience. The food was great, the service was great & the staff were very polite, helpful & friendly. A lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Customer service was brilliant, can’t fault it. Food was delicious and great value for money. Always come here and never have a bad meal.
