I just jumped in there for one hour between time for my connecting flights and I was impressed with a service of Elsie who went extra mile for me. She was very polite and asked me if I would like to add sauce and take leftover what I really appreciated. The food was so tasty and the service was great. The pub looks very nice. If I go again to this airport I would definitely go again to this bar.I highly recommend it to everyone.

Bit of a strange one....my dog ran from home, we lost her for 2 hours. She ran all the way into town and straight into the pub! The wonderful staff shut the doors and kept her safe until the dog wardens picked her up. We had no idea where she was. The staff are our heroes♥️. We will be forever thankful for their kindness for looking after her ! Great boozer also🥂

Really surprised by this pub. Very tasty gluten free and vegan options and great portions. Friendly staff. Good selection of drinks. Nice atmosphere. It's also clean but possibly could do with a bit of a revamp.

Cracking lunch, fresh quality ingredients at an affordable price and the friendly manager Jordan had an extensive knowledge of the drinks and food available. 10/10

If I could give this place one star then I would. I used to visit this place and at first the staff were palatable. It was only after sometime and buying the staff drinks that I came to discover the hygiene. Do not eat at this establishment. I have put in a complaint to trading standards. Three of us became sick after eating the Sunday roast. There is no reference to the pub license when you look it up online. AVOID!

I liked it there I will go back, a nice pub with many beers. Not rowdy at all good people have a good time.

Great pub for a pint and bite to eat. I stopped for a Guinness which was not too badly poured, and was a fiver. But my friends had food and they all enjoyed it. Especially the double burger with the cheese bath, which I tried and enjoyed.

Staff are amazing, nothing but first-class friendly. Even though we are older customers, we we're made to feel very comfortable. People don't walk past, give it a visit, you won't be disappointed 😊

The selection of beer was okay and the snacks were fine but not spectacular. Nice atmosphere, though and probably even better at night!

Brought a group of friends here to watch the rugby recently. Everyone loved the pub Extremely friendly and efficient service by Jordan and his team. Back in today for food. I had the ribeye steak, with amazing chips and a perfect home made peppercorn sauce. Fantastic food and great portions. Having the best Guineas to follow. My friend had the fish and chips. Huge portion. Extreme good quality. Jordan is very friendly , warm and welcoming. The perfect host. Will absolutely be back and will be recommending to friends and family. Mark

Nice pub but reviewing poorly due to their sheer lack of regard for disabled access and health and safety. Fire escape route blocked by chairs as well as access to disabled toilet being blocked by said chairs. Fire extinguisher being used to prop open a fire door which should be closed at all times. HSE would have a field day. Can't comment on food but drinks were decent enough and a selection of board games to play

Booked in yesterday for a family Birthday meal for Sunday Lunch. Out of our 7 dinners that came out 3 of them were stone cold! The young waitress(who was very polite and apologetic)took them away to be warmed up.By the time they came back the other 4 had almost finished theirs. We were offered a free round of drinks and the manager said we did not have to pay for the 3 dinners.Although it was a nice gesture it took the shine off things because the food was absolutely fantastic and we would've all liked to eat at the same time. Not sure if we will be returning after this experience but like I've stated the food was incredible and the waitress was very kind and helpful.

One of those situations where it would be nice to get a refund and just leave. Staff nice enough to change my steak, but the taste of burnt was overpowering. 45 minutes to get our food out. The Mac and cheese was a sloppy mushy powdery liquid nightmare. You could make a smaller portion with better and real ingredients, you could clean the grill before cooking on it, you should tell that takes 30 minutes for a pie. Maybe nice to go for a beer.

Popped in after a day at Splendour. Managed to grab a table outside and enjoy a warm, late evening with friends. The pub itself is fairly small with a cozy feel. They some cracking beers and a great selection of gins. Sat out the front, if felt very European. Staff were friendly and attentive too. A great little place to be on a warm summer night or even in the middle of winter

Although there was a nice atmosphere and good music, the food was sub-par. The chips were very nice but the scampi was fairly overdone. My partner's pie on the other hand was barely edible: a frozen, mostly thawed crust base containing a meaty sauce with very little flavour. We weren't sure whether this was because there was a match on or whether this is standard. Overall, the Ned Ludd has a nice vibe for a pint - they have a decent selection of beers - however, the meal we had left a lot of room for improvement. We did consider that the staff may have been having an "off night" but upon reading their responses to customer reviews, we were unimpressed: this is a very unprofessional way to deal with feedback and reflects very poorly on the establishment. Please listen to your customers rather than dismiss their comments. Not only is it rude to insult people, it is off-putting to potential new customers, and I'm sure you'd benefit greatly from taking feedback on board and aiming to improve.

What's not to like? Had an amazing safe experience tonight at a private party in the peaky blinders themed suite. Staff are great and super friendly. Felt really welcome and safe. It's very convenient too with in the street parking adjacent and plenty of taxis driving past. Looking forward to my next visit. Well done.

I've never been in this bar before, but it was really busy and vibrant. The fact they can "open up" the side of the pub to join with its outdoor seating gives it an open, European feel to it....and and the drinks and staff were great too!!

Excellent pub centrally located. Superb collection of beers. Particularly recommend the ABK, crisp and beautifully kept. Nice service in a relaxed place. Visited several times over a long weekend and became our Nottingham visit favourite.

10/10 Sunday roast, a little bit long on the waiting, but it was worth it :) Perfectly cooked meats and vegetables. Gives you the juice and crunch 👌🏼

Just had a brilliant Chicken Parma. The sauce worked so well with the seasoned chips and the creamy cheese topping. Thank you to the always friendly team.

Came for Sunday lunch (table booked for 2pm). On arrival we were told to sit where we wanted (very quiet for a hot sunny Sunday afternoon). Both of us ordered the roast beef Sunday lunch, the beef was supposed to be slightly pink, it wasn't. OK for my partner but over cooked for me. Roast potatoes needed roasting a bit more (very pale and soft). Cauliflower cheese was like baby food. Would have preferred a gravy boat rather than the gravy already being poured on before the lunch was served, (there was to much). The food itself was all very tasty but attention to detail needs to be better.

Nice choice of drinks. Its a small place with outside seats so good when it's warm. Downside going to the toilet is down quite a few stairs. There is an accessible one upstairs.

Lovely independent pub. They held our wedding reception in the peaky blinders themed room. Enya did a fantastic job decorating for us lovely food and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs.

👍👍 Absolutely amazing! I went to have lunch on my graduation day with my friends. Food was very flavourful and cocktails were nice. Special dietary options are available and you always get 2-4-1 cocktails. Service was really friendly and approachable. Ambience and music is just cherry on top.
