πŸ‘πŸ‘ Oh my gosh this place is absolutely amazing for walking your doggies! Don't let the mucky sign fool you, this place is a gem! There's a big green field just off the car park (which is free πŸ₯³). This is perfect for my doggies, because, I don't know about you guys, but they have to blow off some steam... People often mention nice, walk, park, dogs, walks,

Oh my gosh this place is absolutely amazing for walking your doggies! Don't let the mucky sign fool you, this place is a gem! There's a big green field just off the car park (which is free πŸ₯³). This is perfect for my doggies, because, I don't know about you guys, but they have to blow off some steam initially. Then you'll see around the greens there are trails for the woodlands. There is a small pond which has been fenced of with low wire fence. The whole area is somewhat secure there is fencing all around, however at places it has fallen down. Nonetheless the trails are a fair distance from the edge so it's not an issue. The doggies can go off the lead which is another bonus, no horses that we saw of, didn't even see horse tracks and no livestock either. There are toilets in the Caffe/restaurant and food as well. I did not try the food so cannot really comment on that. We will be coming back here. Lovely stress free walk...bliss πŸ₯°

It's has woodland walks and a huge open grass area and a reasonable size duck pond. Today as the heat is too much for the dog it was nice to walk him for a short walk through the woods which were nice and cool. There is also a pub there for food and drinks

Perfect for walking the dog. Wooded areas and a big open plain for dogs to explore. Seems to be a very popular place for dog walkers

Came here for a family Sunday lunch to celebrate our parents Diamond anniversary but those of us (3) who ordered the roast beef and half chicken meals found the meat very tough and the stuffing balls were so hard you could hardly cut through them. The other 3 whom ordered from the other menu all enjoyed their meal. Just such a shame about the Sunday meals. But the staff were all very professional and friendly. Could do with more bar staff on. If not for the friendly staff it would of been 2 stars.

Nice for a dog walk but not much to do for young kids unless they like walking amongst a lot of dogs and having a picnic. Substantial parking, which didn't charge when we visited, but looks like it will in time.

Lovely woods and field for walking the dog or kids. Very clean, I felt all dog walkers cleaned up after them.

Brilliant open grass and wooded area for dogs to explore plus a lovely big outside area to have something to eat and drink with the dogs ☺ there's also a section of the pub that you can take dogs in when you have a meal etc. They all know my puppy!

Actually got some nice walks here through the woodlands- not the most scenic of places other than that and a few less than friendly people, however if you live close by it’s good to quickly take the dog out for a change of scenery! Lovely place for a walk for both adults and children. Not really suitable for wheelchair access around the park but beautiful places to sit on the open field. Great for dog walks, exploring with young children, stick dens around the park make for a bit of fun too!

It was the second time we had been there. We all had fish and chips and I really enjoyed the pint of Rosie's Pig which is a delicious raspberry and cucumber cider. The lady was very nice and polite behind the bar and we are looking forward to our next visit

The food was not very good . Shared taco platter ,the cheese was cold, and the tacos were not very crunchy ( out of date ). Thesteak and ale pie didn't have any meat , just lumps of fat . When we told the waitress, she was apologetic, and then she told the manageress . Unfortunately , the manageress done absolutely nothing, she didn't even come over to our table to discuss the matter. Extremely disappointing and rude. We shan't be going again.
