Very small burger shack. Great service. Limited menu. No fries, only tots. In my opinion the tots are slightly too dense. Free refills. Outdoor seating. Large shake menu. The burger was good and cooked perfectly

2-22-22 Wooooo this place is awesome! Talk about clean & cozy! The burgers are cooked to your choice of thoroughness and there are fresh veggies and shakes of more than 10 flavors! You like homestyle burgers you'll love these! They have chili and tots too!! The desserts are well made and everything is delicious! Must come here!! I have pics of a cheeseburger (looking like a commercial grade burger) and a toffee/chocolate chip dessert!

Solid burger joint. First timers and would definitely be back. Got cheeseburgers and tots. Washed it down with a shake 👍🏽👍🏽

The service here has went down immensely. The little girls working here now have nothing but attitude at the front. The place has gone down. They should find some better people to run this place. I will never go back. Zero stars. Go to In n Out burger where the service and food is excellent.

The best classic American hamburgers and cheeseburgers served with lettuce, tomato and crunchy raw onions (or grilled onions if you prefer). The winning recipe hasn't changed for years and we like it that way. Dave's is consistently voted Best Burger year after year after year because their food is consistently good. They also have excellent chili, shakes, and slices of pie if you still have room for dessert.

Update: I had a Chili Cheeseburger and Tots and a diet Pepsi. The Chili Cheeseburger was very good and the Tots were tasty as well. Dave's daughter was very nice and friendly but the young man working there needs to work on his customer service skills. He comes across as being very unfriendly. 11/01/2022 15:00 I look forward to having a cone or sundae on my next visit. They no longer offer cakes or pies.

Visiting home had to hit up DAVES. OMG!!! Living in Tennessee you forget how amazing a daves burger is. I took my daughter there for the first time in her 15 yrs. The picture is the exact moment she fell in love with DAVES GIANT BURGERS. Her exact words were " mom seriously you introduced me to in-N-out BEFORE DAVES?? I COULD'VE BEEN EATING DAVES ALL THESE YEARS!" needless to say Daves will be a first and last stop for all future visits home.

Best burger around. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is sparkling clean, the food has great taste is served hot. Not as messy as the last time I enjoyed a burger from here. Don't come here expecting french fries with your burger they still don't have them. They currently are not selling chips (I'm assuming due to Covid) they do have chili and tots. Grab a milk shake while you are here they don't disappoint. Dave's has been a staple in town my entire life. I only get dave's about once every 10 years

I had to share a few comments on this location. I’ve been seeing great reviews for this location, and been wanting to take the family to enjoy a meal. Unfortunately we will not be going back . The burgers are not what I expected (NOT giant and Way over priced for what you get). They don’t offer combo’s on any meals so everything is separate drinks ,, tater tots, and burgers. On the average the burgers are over $8 plus than you add tots $3.50 and a drink $1.50. $13 plus tax . For a regular hamburger meal, and that’s a basic hamburger without cheese. The chili taste like canned Hormel chili beans. Sorry to say, but your better off going to In&out burger, and order a 4x4 That’s 4 meats with cheese (animal style) with fries and drink included .for the same price with tax included. BIG disappointment in quality and value. Rethink your Business model this is not Napa. This is Fairfield.

Classic hamburger joint that has amazing food the quality of burger is exceptional they'll even ask how well you want it cooked! The shakes were great too with a variety of good flavors. I would highly recommend this fine establishment if you find yourself in Fairfield

Absolutely DELICIOUS!! We were headed to Napa and saw this burger joint on Google maps. The next day we headed to the jelly bean factory and had to stop here for lunch. The staff was so friendly, it is a very clean place! Oh and the burger…. So delicious that once I took a bit it was gone within a minute a two. We had bacon cheese burgers with the grilled onions and all the fixing’s. Perfectly seasoned and juicy! This will be a “must stop” burger place!

Dave’s Giant Hamburger is right next to a baseball field. On the fence it is surrounded by beautiful flowers that you can even smell the aroma of the flowers, including the California state flower; the California poppy ( it is illegal to pick btw so don’t! Lol). All of the workers are very nice and patient, they cook the food right in front of you so if you’re paranoid- don’t be! The food was fresh and hot. They got it to us quick too! There aren’t many seats inside, so if you’re a quick eater (to avoid flies) and the weather is nice I recommend eating outside. This is a gem in Fairfield. P.s. There’s plenty of parking spaces in the parking lot by the way.

I've been a fan of Dave's Hamburgers since going to Armijo High School. Moved to Georgia 30 years ago. Each time I go back to Fairfield. I don't leave until I have a Dave's burger. They are the BEST. Their service and food quality has NOT changed...Thank YOU!!!!

First time eating here after friends kept telling us about their hamburgers. They have a simple menu. We ordered cheeseburgers with bacon and tots to go. There is some outdoor seating too if you wish to sit there and eat in the cooler months. Food was excellent. It's now going to be my go-to burger place.

BEST HAMBURGER ON THE PLANET!! I've been eating Dave's burgers for 50 years. I've traveled all over the Country and still believe Dave's is the best! If you have not have a Dave's burger ,well then you are truly missing out!!!! I live in Arizona now and Fly to Fairfield just to eat one!!! How get your now!!

Food was overpriced. Just a regular diner burger. Needed some salt or seasoning of some kind. $36 for two burgers with tots and a milkshake. Little greedy imo

Somethings never change and with Dave's Giant Hamburger that is a good thing. They serve the same classic hamburger that they fifty years ago. It is not fast food, so expect to wait a few your meal.

If you’re looking for a solid, old-fashioned burger experience, this could be your place. While I prefer my lettuce unshredded, I’m not going to hold it against these folks. My cheeseburger was delicious. Parking and outdoor seating available.

The food is great here. It's very pricey for a burger joint though. I like that they at least serve tater-tots now instead of potato chips. Won't be back because of the prices only.

The best burger in town! Only a, few places to sit inside with more outdoor dining, most of there business is to-go. Daves is a local favorite. I used to go there in my high school days in the 70's and it was a local favorite then. If you like a good burger then this is the place for it.

Big but very messy burgers skip the onions 🧅 if asked also weird no French fries only tater tots

Grew up in Fairfield and Dave's is a landmark. Came back after 10 years and highly disappointed visiting Dave's. Burgers are not giant, no pie offered, staff slow and unfriendly. Waited 15 min to place a order with 2 people in front of me. Only 2 burgers on grill seriously!!!! Menu not extensive... put patties on grill to reduce wait time! Inexcusable, I told cook I would be ordering bacon and I was told it wouldn't take long and ignored. I left! Waited 10 years, flew from South Carolina only to be disappointed. Sad, real sad

As the name says Giant burgers. They mean it! Quality fresh beef burgers cooked on a flat top grill you can taste. Cooked per order. We really enjoyed the burgers fresh produce and great tasting buns that were light not too heavy. Very friendly service makes you feel special. Only problem they don't have fries only tater tots which wouldn't be a problem if they were good. They have those freezer tasting tots. Not the best. Dave's would be untouchable in Fairfield if they had fresh cut fresh French fries.
