Osteria
Pajer
is
one
of
the
top
restaurants
I
have
ever
been.
It
combines
high
quality,
local
and
season
ingredients,
Italian
cuisine
and
deliciously
prepared
dishes.
It
is
worth
the
visit
if
you
are
in
the
area,
even
if
you
have
to
make
a
detour
to
get
there.
We
have
visited
it
sometimes,
and
the
high
standards
are
maintained.
This
last
time,
to
start
we
asked
for
a
mix
of
taglieri
di
prosciutto
crudo,
crudité
di
carciofini
freschi
and
vassoio
di
formaggi
misto
-
fresh
cuts
and
cheese.
Then
the
'Primi
Piatti
di
stagione',
that,
as
the
name
suggests,
change
over
time.
The
risottos
are
always
the
best
we
have
on
the
menu.
This
time
we
asked
for
Risotto
with
courgette,
lemon
zest
and
mint
and
tagliolini
with
white
and
green
aspargus,
to
share.
The
risotto
was
creamy,
fresh
and
absolutely
amazing.
Then,
the
meat.
The
quality
of
the
meats
at
Osteria
Pajer
is
suberb.
We
had
filetto
black
angus
from
Ireland,
with
some
season
sides.
As
you
cut
the
meat
you
immediately
recognize
how
could
it
would
be,
and
is
doesn't
disappoint.
If
you
still
have
room
for
a
dessert,
we
usually
love
the
tiramisu
-
a
classic
in
the
region
-
and
there's
also
a
red
fruit
with
puff
pastry
which
is
very
good.
We
will
always
be
back,
and
we
will
always
miss
it
when
we
are
away!
