As a student, finding comfortable and convenient housing is crucial, and Peninsular Place delivered an exceptional experience with its fully furnished private bedrooms and bathrooms, fitness amenities, all while being steps from EMU. The Peninsular Place community provides a welcoming environment that feels like a true home away from home. The furnishings are modern and stylish. The inclusion of fully furnished apartments eliminated the hassle of purchasing and moving furniture, making the transition to college life seamless. The spacious common areas were perfect for socializing and bonding with fellow residents. The management and staff at Peninsular Place deserve commendation for their unwavering commitment to resident satisfaction. They were always friendly, approachable, and prompt in addressing any concerns or maintenance requests. The sense of community they fostered through organized events and activities further enhanced the overall living experience. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Peninsular Place as a top choice. You'll not only find a beautiful living space but also an environment that supports your academic and personal growth.

Peninsular Place is a great place to live if you’re looking for affordable and close to campus housing. They have friendly staff that can help with anything you may need. I’m a current resident and have had no problems and an amazing experience here.

Peninsular Place offers amenities that are a good deal for their prices on 3-4 bed apartments, and is so convenient for EMU and WCC students. However, the price of utilities is outrageous and neither DTE nor Pen Place are willing to help in any constructive way. Neither the heat nor AC in our apartment ever worked in the time that we lived there, despite 1-2 service requests to maintenance submitted every month. They repeatedly came and could find nothing wrong despite apparent problems :) This coupled with awful insulation created outrageously high utility bills, adding a great amount of extra money to the actual cost paid towards the apartment each month. And the heating/cooling was not the only issue that they failed to fix for us. The office staff is mostly residents, and as noted by others they tend to be ill-informed of actual policies and will just treat their best guess as the enforced rule. As prices go up, it is truly to your own digression if you're willing to overlook the failures of the staff just to live here.

I was looking into moving here for cheaper housing than the dorms and I called up and Oakly gave me a bunch of good advice. 10/10 would live here just to talk to them! Super professional and great customer service.

Went on a tour today (12/2/23 @ 10:30a.m.), and the young lady(name slipped my mind) that showed us around was pleasant, professional, and very knowledgeable about the location. Too make things even better, the entire location is beautiful, modern, and safe. We had plenty of questions and all were answered. Even the young man, at the front desk, provided information that we didn't even think about. Great staff, decor, and location.

Me and my bestie came to peninsular place after many failed attempts at trying to find room. Emily was an ANGEL when it came to navigation. She was direct and clear during the tour and was able to answer all of our questions fully (if ur reading this Emily I love you). After discussion, viewing the beautiful rooms, and spilling our complimentary drink on the nice floor (which Emily helped us clean - I am still so sorry), we decided to submit an application. Emily was also able to guide us through that seemingly easy process, which proved difficult for us due to our tiny underdeveloped fish brains. 10/10 would recommend coming here if you have a student budget and like nice people who don’t glare at you when asking for their cheapest rooms (looking at you chestnut lake).

With such a great location to campus, fun community events, and amenities open late, Peninsular Place is a great option for those looking for furnished apartments with flexible leasing options!

This apartment complex seems to have gone down in the last year, it by far pays its employees the least in the area. They charge the employees a fee to get a tiny employee discount. It don’t even come close to make up for the hourly pay. Another fee to pay your rent. Immature and inexperienced management. A very toxic working environment. They are definitely taking advantage of EMU students.

Do not move here. Since I have lived here over the last two years I have paid almost 1000 dollars in fees alone. When I had to move units due to a roommate issue I was expected to pay, when I am reletting my unit I am not only expected to pay $300 but I am also expected to pay for every day I AM NOT IN THE UNIT even though a new tenant has signed my lease I am expected to pay an extra 181 dollars for an empty unit with no one living there. The apartments are subpar at best, disgusting and barely livable at worst, the train next too the apartment buildings has woken me up in the middle of the night more times than I can even count, and the area itself isn't even safe. Sure the rent may be keep at $600 a month but trust me when I say it is not worth it!!! they will rob you blind with fees and it is easily one of the worst apartment companies I have ever had the displeasure of living in.

Went for a tour at this complex and it was very beautiful! My tour guide Kameron was very informative and easy to talk to! Still considering leasing here but definitely one of my top choices after my visit.

Love that the units are fully furnished and lease by the bedspaces so I am not responsible for my roommates paying their rent. The manager Brianna was very responsive and helpful throughout the process as well !

Started to look for an apartment and had a hard time finding information online in general. But I called and the person who answered (I think it was Oakley) was extremely helpful and was able to answer any questions I had about what housing here looks like, cost, etc. They were very polite as well and I will for sure be considering Peninsular Place thanks to their help.
