We usually take out but this time we dined in. The foods are very tasty and high quality. The service could be much better. No one came and asked if we need something. We had to request for water and other things. Bathroom needs some works too. The faucet provides very low flow of water that you can hardly wash your hands. I wondered how the employees washed their hands as it is mandatory by the laws. While I love their foods, I have to give 4 stars until the next visit that hopefully they address the above issues.

Tried the weekend buffet, expected much more for 18$ per head, standard buffet menu sans the non vegetarian starters, which was a disappointment ( do not recommend buffet for meat lovers) Loved the hyderabadi biriyani and naan.

Next time you think about ordering from here, think "I wish I RAN from Rangoli". I'm not normally one to write reviews, but to not write a review would be an injustice to potential customers. My fiance and I are big fans of Tikka Masala, and we have had many from multiple restaurants. Sadly, this was our worst by far. It felt like the chefs threw this together as fast as possible. The rice was undercooked, the seasoning was bland and poorly spiced, the chicken was underwhelming, and the sauce tasted like tomato soup. Honestly, this was a waste of money and calories. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because technically it was edible.

I had a HORRIBLE experience today at the Great Lakes Crossing location. I brought my sister for her very first time and I was given a bay that was not ideal and I asked politely to be changed to another bay. When I was a moved another guest walked into our new bay and took one of our clubs. Although the employee said something nothing else was done. The guy did not have a mask on and when I brought up my frustration to management I was given an apology, but no one sanitized that bay. No one said anything to the guest who wasn't wearing a mask. No one cared that this guy said him and his friends do this ALL the time. How can a business promise to sanitize after every use to protect their customers, but not actually do it? How is this safe? Why was nothing said to the guy who took our club? When I asked to switch a sanitized bay we were told we could only use the first bay we complained about. I really hope management reaches out to me because this is unacceptable. I don't feel safe going there until REAL safety measures are put into place.

My favorite treat meal! Ive order numerous vegan dishes here and everything is AMAZING! I don’t know how anyone could give this place a 1 star, it actually made me really sad reading some of these reviews. I usually order on door dash and my food is ready quick, always comes tightly packaged, very generous portions, and so good!

I'm not sure what has happened here. We have been ordering food from Rangoli for many years now, and it has been consistently excellent, up to the last time we ordered, Jan 21. We ordered our usual entree tonight (Mar 3) and found that it was maybe just over half the size it used to be, definitely less than half the rice, different packaging that doesn't keep it as warm for as long, and the Chicken Koorma had no cashews in it. Very disappointed. Will try alternatives.

The food is good. But the service is terrible for pickup. They will ignore you for a long time while they give food to GrubHub drivers.

I wish I could give 10 stars. The manager Ricky is fantastic, along with the staff very well trained on providing awesome customer service. Constantly working to go above and beyond no matter how busy they are! You almost feel like you are the only table they are serving! Always a wonderful time at top golf in Auburn Hills, we go out of our way to visit and enjoy the atmosphere. We even have family in Ohio that come to this location because its honestly always a great time! Keep up the awesome work! Also wanted to add, they do a great job of making everyone feel safe during these tough times, while still being able to enjoy ourselves.

Top Golf, we gotta get it together. Totally understand the hype over trying to get in here because I’ve been previously, but it’s nearly impossible to get a reservation online for a weekend with it only opening up 7 days prior- and then the website proclaiming walks in welcome should be removed or a live wait time added. It was impossible to call and get an estimate, finally spoke to someone at corporate who said wait times could be 30 min to 2 hours... only to arrive and find out it’s 5-6 hours and we couldn’t wait inside enjoying food/drinks with COVID. You gotta make it easier for people to get this info and not waste their time.

I went to their weekend lunch buffet this weekend for the first time in a number of years. Before COVID I think the buffet was around like $13 or $14 per person, but now it’s like $21. The food was good, but I don’t think it was worth $21, especially because the service was sub-par. I waited like 15 minutes to get a water refill, which when you’re dealing with spicy Indian food should be a sin. I’d say the buffet is worth it for a special occasion, but not for an average weekend; otherwise you’re better off just ordering take out.

I used to love Rangoli but haven't had them in about 7 years. I drove by on the way home and decided to stop. I ordered the Lamb Lollipop appetizer which was $12 and came with 2 small lamb chops. Unfortunately, they which were overcooked and salty, in my opinion. I wouldn't order them again. Next, I ordered the Gosht Rogan Josh with came nicely portioned and the lamb was wonderfully tender. I also ordered my staple, Dal Makhani. In the past years, my palate has evolved in a such a way that I crave high flavor so these dishes weren't as flavorful as I remembered so I had to doctor them up a bit; however, Rangoli is good for a visit if you're in the area.

The restaurant is better than the Punjab Indian restaurant. The quantity of the food is huge so ensure you have someone with you to share the food. Ambiance is good with live music.. taste of the food is ok / good but not awesome. Overall good place to have all Indian food items. They have Punjabi, south Indian and Indian Chinese menu in the dinner time. In the morning normally it the buffet they offer for 10 dollars which is good. Not giving 5 star as the food needs to awesome.

Normally I like Rangoli Restaurant. But Since they have pick-up only they are become pricey and lacking in quality of food. I ordered the Dhosa to pickup, I came home and openup the Dhosa, it was completely burned top of Dhosa. Burned like charcoal! I was hungry and do not want to go back to return the Dhosa. I eat just inner stuffing of Dhosa. Bad, west of time and money. Do I want to really go back again? NO.

Food quality has changed. Not nearly as good as years past. Carry out tonight was tiki masala medium plus. Ordered through grub hub. Wasn’t in a rush to get the food. It showed up surprisingly fast. Unfortunately, the sauce tasted like Ragu spaghetti sauce “no heat, very bland” with 5 pieces of chicken. It was so watered down that the rice was swimming in water and tomato sauce. For $27 I would assume they would take the time to make a correct dish, especially with the current restaurant conditions. Maybe the chef was having a bad night? I don’t know, but the food was just awful. I used to love this place and now I just assume make the dish at home for a lot less money and twice the flavor.

On January 3, 2021, I booked a bay at TopGolf in Auburn Hills Michigan for sunday, January 10, 2021 at 10:30 p.m. for two. I also received a follow up phone call from your team on January 8, 2021 to confirm my reservation. Unfortunately upon our arrival for our appointment we were instructed that your location doesn't honor reservations any longer since Covid-19 has begun and was ONLY accepting walk-ins I was instructed that the reservations and follow up call your team conducted on Jan 8th should not have been confirmed and I should have been notified of the changes. I'm very disheartened to see that my 50 min drive and what would have been my first experience at TopGolf was tainted due to incompetence or mismanagement

Went to TopGolf last night. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The food/drinks were very good and reasonably priced. The service was awesome! You have a great staff! My only complaint is the booking fee. I didn't have a problem paying a fee($25) to reserve the bay online, but it would be nice if they would actually apply that fee to your overall bill at the end of the night. If you don't show up then you should lose your fee, but if you do show up, then you should get it applied to the bill. It feels like you are being nickle and dimed with the $49/hour bay fee, the $5 per person "membership fee", and the $25(which changes depending on how busy they are) online reservation fee.

We had an AMAZING time! The service that our server provider was superb! I wish I could remember her name because she deserves a big kudos! Most of the employees were friendly and willing. Our food order was off but Top Golf fixed it with no problem. Our family will be back!!

Very busy the website is unclear for walk in. We got here it was going to be a 7 hour wait. We drove an hour and a half. Manager was helpful, but don’t recommend.

We had ordered breakfast from this restaurant and we all were very disappointed with the food. Starting with the picture, we had ordered Vada and all the vadas were completely burnt and very bad. They don’t even look/taste like vada. The other order was Onion Chilli Dosa and it had green bell pepper instead of chillies. And all the other dishes were all tasteless. Expensive and Not worth trying..

At 12:30 am this morning until 5:00 am (when I’m writing this review), I’ve been living by the toilet. No doubt I have food poisoning from my dinner. I ordered Chettinadu Pepper Lamb and really regret it. Now convinced the lamb was bad. In full disclosure the other two in the party had nice vegetarian dinners without issues. My story is quite different requiring me to downgrade the review.

I tried the dosas here and they came out good. This place can be a hit or a miss. Good one in the area but definitely not the best!

So dissapointed with my to go orders, the container of rice is bigger than the entrees , we were paying for entress , not the rice! Not worthed it, never order anymore!

The restaurant mixed up their water pitchers with one with sanitizer in it and they poured me a glass of sanitizer. When I mentioned this to the wait staff, they didn't say sorry or offer to make it right. Later when I called the manager, she also did not say sorry or offer any sort of gesture of apology or compensation. I used to be a semi-regular at this restaurant. Its too bad.

Food is fine. Service is very sub par, and there haven't been many other places where I've been treated worse than I have here. Place is too busy for its own good. Very easy for your order to get forgotten/not made. Wait staff laughing at you with escalations/problems is the cherry on top. There are better options in the area. I will never return here.

Everything on the menu is delicious! I suggest trying their Indian Chinese menu if you're looking for the best Chinese food in town. Their lunch buffet is fantastic. Great food, great staff. We're never disappointed. Thank you, Rangoli!

best indian I’ve ever had!

Very authentic and decent cuisine in the area. I have been to multiple restaurant in Metro Detroit. Rangoli is one step further in everythig. Whether its their service or food or cleanliness. It's definately worth trying it and if you are first timer then try their Peshawari Naan and Papadi chaat. After that you will go there more often.

Comparing to 2019, They have improved their food quality and taste this year. Chat items are very authentic.

Worst chilli paneer I have had it was completely tasteless. It was like stinky red chewy stuff with bare minimum salt. We had to throw the entire dish into the trash.

We have been regularly visiting this place for a long time and very happy with the food. Hyderabadi chicken biryani is our pick in this restaurant.

Decent Indian food place. They have good options for lunch buffet during the week. They have good space to sit and the staff is friendly. I have been there multiple times, but their taste is not consistent all the time. Over all it’s a good place for lunch buffet.

Rangoli has great quality and delicious recipes. Their staff is very polite, friendly, and professional. I go often for lunch. The buffet is great and rotates or changes dishes very frequently. Vegetarian dishes seem to always be available as well. The space can accommodate private banquets too. Would love to plan a private function there sometime.

Ever since switching to a plant based diet, it has been difficult to find restaurants that have multiple vegan options that are actually good. I have tried 4 different vegan dishes from Rangoli, and they are all fantastic! Truly dishes I look forward to eating again. Great staff and nice atmosphere as well.

Delishious food. Never tried Indian food before, so i have no idea what i was eating, but I'll definietly be back! Our server did forget to give us any napkins and utensils, but well settle it with a little shame on you ☝️☝️☝️ each of our dishes came with a sufficient amount of untensils to eat easily so no harm no foul. Plus, our servers mustache was fabulous and he was very helpful, informative, and speedy.

Great place and even better staff! This facility is very clean and knows how to handle the current pandemic. My whole family felt very safe and we even saw cleaners wiping down clubs after each bay use. For those complaining about wait times, YOU NEED TO RESERVE A SPOT! This is a highly desirable attraction so go online 7 days in advance and reserve a spot and you will have no issues. Received a text from my car which bay number we had to go to. Very efficient.

Had a blast at Topgolf Auburn Hills, MI. The staff there were very friendly and could answers any questions we had. Can’t comment on the food since the State order is in effect. Very nice establishment and clean. The only reason I gave them a 4 out of 5 is this location does not have the shot tracer technology like most of the other locations have and I believe your paying the same price for less, but besides that everything else was great. May be back in the summer when they have the restaurants back open

More fun than I expected!

My family loves Topgolf!! I saw it was still open, so we went yesterday, snow and all!! Which did slightly affect the outcome of the game because some balls just plunked in the snow opposed to rolling. We still had a blast, though! Headed back in a week!!

Whitmer has banned eating or drinking on the premises. Staff patrols the place like prison guards. Totally disappointing and overpriced 4-hour experience. Don’t waste your money

Top Golf was a great and fun experience considering the times we are in. Everything was clean and spaced out. There was about a 30 minute wait but they text you when your bay is almost ready for you so you don't have to keep checking.

Our group has been to TG several times over the past 2 years. It is a great deal of fun and helps us keep our swings smooth throughout the winter.

This place had a great service and such a good set up. The wait staff varied from great service from our first server to horrible service from our last server. Over all I do highly recommend this place from price to having small parties.

Dinner was great! We had the Lamb Vindaloo and the Tampori Chicken. The food tastes great and there was plenty of it. The staff was not overly fast but they were SUPER friendly. The place is clean and a very nice atmosphere for eating. Def recommend Rangoli Indian Cuisine to anyone who enjoys Indian food!

The service and the food are no good. It gets a star because it is at least nearby where I live and I can not go lower than one star. We came in for the buffet, no one brings water or silverware or asked if we wanted anything. After about 15 minutes, I had to get silverware off a different table and go up to the hostess stand where the employees were just standing around laughing at each other. I asked for water and naan and it takes a while for them to still bring it out and stop flirting with each other. The biriyani was extremely dried out. The noodles had no flavor and the lentils were a disappointment. No where does it say the cost as there are no menus, so fine, but for 20 dollars a person, it was definitely disappointing. No one came to check up on us. They bring out warm water, apparently their ice was dirty? The time before that we came when there was not a buffet and they serve food on dishes that have lip stick stains on them from previous customers. If you are into sharing germs with unknown people, then that is fine, but I am not.

My experience with this restaurant is always been bad super bad. My husband ordered food for to go (Chinese chicken fried rice) they made it so bad that we have to throw all the rice, it was so bad in taste , and then after we months we thought we will dine in thinking that dine in might provide good taste food but again the same we ordered butter chicken , soup and garlic naan we left everything and paid$42 bill and left, bad service and bad food. NEVER EVER GONNA ORDER OR DINE IN TO THIS RESTAURANT 👎

So so happy to see an Indian cuisine lunch buffet again post-pandemic. The food is excellent. We visited on Saturday 10/15/22 because when I called around to other Indian restaurants in the area, none were doing lunch buffets anymore. It was also nice that this was offered on a weekend as some used to be on weekdays.

If I can describe this place in one word it would be exquisite! The service was outstanding the staff is hardworking, quick, and very accommodating to there guest needs. The atmosphere was beautifully relaxing and the decor really set the mood. The food was beyond delicious I ordered the Rangoli Special Appetizer Platter, Tandoori Lamb Chops, Butter Chicken, Coconut Lamb, and some Chia Tea. I must say my heart danced with every bite, I will be returning for more. I use to pick up doordashes from this place quite often and every time was greeted by the smell of deliciousness and polite people, I just had to try it so I promised my Grandmother we would go one day for dinner and so we did she loves the butter chicken and the garlic naan.

The spice level was just right. Order was ready on time. The naan and rice were fresh. I will definitely be ordering from the this place again.

So good, my go to Indian place locally. Must try their buffet, it is nice and clean. Being able to try so many different dishes is my favorite part of the buffet. Also love their appetizers where you get to try a handful of different dishes; the street food one is my personal favorite. Check their hours for the buffet and when they are open (closed between lunch and dinner).

We were in town heading back home from a local bourbon 🥃 group meet up and found this most amazing traditional Indian 🇮🇳 restaurant with truly authentic traditional cuisine. We savored every morsel and would consider moving to the Auburn Hills area to have this food 🥘 on the regular - you can’t find this food just anywhere! Oh I was blown by the most reasonable prices you would pay for such high end dishes!

My friends and I had a great time. My first Indian restaurant that I went to in the US and it didn’t disappoint and the food was amazing. I had to make sure my friends tried the gulab jamun and they were perfect, I just wished they served it with ice cream!!! The service was amazing, sushma was amazing!!!!

I was not really able to enjoy the food as much as I had hoped since it was too spicy for me. Other Indian buffets tend to offer mild food with spices on the SIDE. I also was disappointed that my sister had a 10% off coupon and she was told she could only use it for carry out and not dine in so it could not be applied to her meal - it did not say that anywhere at all on the coupon!

Came if for the first time with my partner and it was just mesmerizing and magical. Friday nights are filled with live music Plus as usual, the amazing food! I WILL be coming back asap. They also have a buffet for lunch times! Spice combinations are flavorful, and a little bit will fill you right up. Great dine in experience. This has been the best Indian buffet since they offered Lamb and the vegetables. Chili sauce and chicken curry I believe. Vegetable fried rice, biryani. I thought they only had rolls at first since that's all I saw on the food line, but then they bring Naan bread hot to the table. I highly recommend . It's worth the price. They keep filling the water as well!
