😠 My Dr. was awesome this review is for the support staff. My appointment today was for 845 am I was roomed at 855 am. I was left in the room for 2 hours without communication. I have a job that I am now late for. You may think that is an exaggeration, I had to pay for parking which is free for 2... Great if your apt. happens on time, sad if Henry Ford ignores you in a small room. I had to grab someone in the hall and explain that I was going to leave in 10 minutes before someone came to update me and magically the Dr. showed up in 8 minutes. My time is valuable and Henry Ford does not seem to respect my time or value me as a customer. The waiting room was nicer I wish they had left me there.

This is not a walk-in clinic. It is a primary care office masquerading as a walk-in clinic.I arrived at 7:15 PM (the clinic was open until 8 PM). I was informed that all the appointments had been filled and I could not be seen that day. They offered me an appointment for the following day. They then sent me to Beaumont urgent care. I took their suggestion and I am now waiting in the lobby of Beaumont Urgent Care at 7:54 PM yes to be seen. This facility also closes at 8 PM, but obviously if you arrive before 8 PM you will be seen.

What is the point in having a mask requirement with signs posted everywhere when it is not enforced. Putting family members at risk while having a procedure is completely unacceptable. Myself nor my family will be returning to this facility. Everything was great until I found people open mouth sleeping on couches in the surgery waiting area and none of the guests wearing masks.

They do not know what they are doing here. Their check in system does not work, and the receptionists do not know how to use their system. You will be lost, and left waiting for over an hour with no one around, and no one to help. I have not had this problem at any other Henry Ford location. I absolutely cannot recommend the Royal Oak location for anything.

The website is not accurate. I came on Sunday and was told the clinic is not open on Sundays. i came back on Monday at 7 and was told the clinic doesn't open until 8. I went to sign in and was told I had to make an appointment on line. Although i was there at 7 when the website said it opened I could not get an appointment until 8:45. why isn't all of this info on the website?

This facility is so new and so nice. It’s very spacious, the elevators are fast. Check in was easy… same with check out. There is a pharmacy and Optimeyes on the first floor, and many different specialties in the building. The parking garage is right next door, there is an entrance off of 11 Mile and one off of 2nd. It’s also free parking for the first 2 hours.

Gave them my insurance after confirming they accepted it, was given a nearly $200 estimate that was incorrect, so I called and was told I could disregard and I was good to go for my appointment. Come to my appointment, still asked to pay nearly $200 for what should be a no-cost appointment. I waited downstairs for 20 minutes, was told they just have to figure some things out but I could head upstairs. Went upstairs, was told the same thing. Waited another 20 minutes to get a call and be told actually, sorry, they don't take my insurance. I'm pretty angry it took four people and 2 hours of my time to get told that. I leave. Another 20 minutes later, get a call that sorry, the insurance was repeatedly put in wrong and they DO take it, as if I would touch this place with a 20 foot pole after the experience I had. I've been told some bad stories about HFHS but I wanted to see one specific doctor so I set those stories aside. Save yourself some time and stress, just go somewhere else. Screw HFHS.

Waited an hour and a half for them to tell me they wouldn’t see me because I had my children with me. Wasn’t told when I made the appointment they couldn’t be with me and wasn’t told when I checked in. Instead, made me wait an hour and a half to be refused service. Even when I said they could be in the waiting room for a 15 min doctor visit, that was refused as well. 0/10. This is why I stick with mclaren. Doctor and staff were also talking about me loud enough to where I could hear it, even when I came out of the room and they could see me, they were still continuing their conversation about me. Unprofessional and clearly have issues with young mothers.

I used to visit my MD in a smaller office in Southfield that closed. The move to Royal Oak was supposed to be an upgrade in facilities and service, it's been the extreme opposite. Failure to maintain prescription refills, I have a medical condition that requires maintenance but you can't get appointments for months (seriously like 4-5 months.) The drop off in levels of service is ridiculous, I'm honestly lost and don't know what to do but I need a new MD. If you're a new patient don't go to an MD here. When you do get an appointment you'll arrive on time but wait for hours to be seen.

Mammogram today, in and out in under 15 minutes. Super friendly, nice gal helping out as well. Named Rachel. Awkward hallways, but fun and fast.

Asked for physical over phone and entered all of my information online about the purpose of my visit was for a physical. Doctor said no and was only allotted 20 minutes with her but she rushed me out in 10. She then scheduled to see her in 2-3 weeks but the next physical opening will be next year. Poor experience overall but nice building.

I had my wisdom tooth taken out today and was extremely nervous. The entire staff in oral surgery was so friendly and made me feel so much better. The doctor did a great job making me feel comfortable. And Rhonda made me feel so at ease during the whole procedure, I couldn’t thank her enough. It’s not very often that someone shows how much they truly care. Thank you!

I visited for the Lab Services. My wait was short and the staff both very professional and very pleasant. There is free 2 hour parking in the garage across 2nd St.

The front desk lady was extremely unhelpful and rude to me. I had already spoken on the phone to another lady who was very nice and went out of her way to not only make sure they accepted my health insurance but that they found me in their system before booking me an appointment that night. But when I got there the lady at the front desk who was a completely different lady then the one I spoke to on the phone told me that she couldn't verify my health insurance at all because I didn't have my health card even though I had my beneficiary ID number. She ran that number and said nothing came up and so I had to leave in tears because I was sick and frustrated to not receive much needed treatment. Today I called my health insurance and they issued me a replacement card while also telling me the reason that my number didn't show up in their system is because it's an older number and only has 8 digits and the new ones all have 10 digits. In order to make it work correctly she was supposed to add 2 zeros to the front of the numbers in order to make it 10 digits and that she should have known that. So I was unable to receive treatment and had to leave in frustrated tears all because the lady at the front desk with cold blue eyes didn't know how to do her job. She was honestly just bothered that I had come in so late, she mentioned something about the time to me. But they were still open AND I had an appointment so this lady was just very cold and unhelpful and should probably find a different job other then health-care.

Got a blood draw in the labs, Brianna or Breanna was fantastic. Quick, painless, draw on the first try. She was personable and efficient. In and out in 10 minutes with my data already in the system. Free parking next door: would recommend.

My first visit to the new location. No problem parking, check in easy, Visit with Dr G went excellent as usual. Went to lab area for blood draw, fast and efficient. Total visit less than 45 min. New place seemed clean. Enjoyed professionalism. Thank You

Brand new building. Came here for my acupuncture and got blood work done. The lab was quick and one of the better lab techs I've had (I don't do the best for blood work). Only thing is parking across in the parking garage is a bit of a pain. Last time I had to pay 75 cents because I went over the free 2 hours by like 10 minutes... otherwise one of the nicer henry ford locations.
