Super glad we came here the food was amazing we got the ultimate platter for 2, halloumi and some fries it was all so good we didn't need the extras as the platter was very generous.really enjoyed the pear salad is was the highlight followed closely by the dessert. Staff were all lovely and would happily return.

This place is fantastic. Great food. Fantastic coffee. A fully licensed and quite well stocked bar, and fast service. They have takeaway and eat in options available and take bookings for parties or functions. Get amongst it.

We had our staff Xmas party on Saturday night. Andy and the team could not have been more helpful in organizing things for us including closing the restaurant so that the two private functions held there that night had enough space to mingle and really enjoy the night without lots of people trying to edge their way around others. Food was excellent - share platter sizes were very generous with plenty of delicious food to go around.

Great venue at any time of the day. Located just far enough away from the main hustle and bustle. Food service and drinks are always great. The cocktails were very refreshing with the right ratios. The kitchen was spot on with the wait time for our shared platter.

Amazing food and friendly place! Our second time here and I want to recommend a great venue for a greek taste with a twist. The chef makes those dishes taste so good, whether it’s the spice or the lemon or the cooking technique. Each dish is recognisable and also special. The waiting staff is extremely friendly and patient with our little kids. Can’t wait to live locally and go again :)

I tried the Mezze tower for two tonight and had a new cherry flavoured cocktail- absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were welcoming and very attentive. The perfect combination for a relaxing night out with the girls! Would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Got overcharged, well order had been done via web but on the pickup day got charged almost double, on the end got refund and its all good but on the end the meals are awesome and I will come back.

We got the Summer Seafood Sunday offer at $49 pp as a family of 4. It consisted of 6 courses, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. I forgot to take photos, as I was preoccupied eating!

Enjoyable Food

The Living Room always impresses for us regulars. This time the 4 of us had The American Dog and once again enjoyed another lunch. Regularly go to his cafe their coffee is beautiful. Great fast food. Menu is Greek inspired and the combo platter is a must. Enough food for 2-3 people and you get a taste of a grey variety of different foods.

Just had breakfast there by myself. Very nice. Very popular family and couples. Bit noisy but nice. Little bit expensive..Good food, amazing platters, great location in Wollongong.. Cocktails and drinks are good! Platters are worth sharing, great for Christmas parties or just a night out. They also have amazing breakfast options and healthy food options,

Good food, service and atmosphere

It was ok. Service was nice but nothing extremely special (still good). Food was a mixed bag. The arancini and the sliders were absolutely amazing, herbed bread and the fries were good but the chicken and the fish were horrendous. Chicken was bland and chewy and the fish was so salty it could almost be featured on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. There was also uncleaned vomit in the bathroom which made me concerned about the overall hygiene level of the restaurant. I wouldn't voluntarily come back here but it was ok.

Came here to try it out, after hearing about it. We ordered a few cocktails and they were delicious but pricey. There was not much choices for dinner. (Most of the online menu items were all missing…! ). We ordered a few different items on the menu. The taste was okay, nothing extraordinary. Was expecting tasty Greek food such as lamb souvlaki… given the previous reviews but sorry to say we were disappointed.(We have had really tasty Greek food before compared to this .) Overall, okay food and yummy cocktails. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the place has a good vibe.

I’d have posted a pic of our food, but it was so delicious that it disappeared too quickly! We had an entree of pita and dips and the halloumi which was very tasty. Then shared a cheeseburger (which came with the cheeseburger dolmades - yum!), and the lamb and pumpkin salad. So good and very generous servings! Would have loved to have tried a cocktail, but needed to drive back to Sydney that evening. Service was attentive, friendly and we really loved our visit. Will come again on our next trip to Wollongong!

We had a small function at the Living Room. Our guests were raving about the food, with comments like “the crackle on the pork was the best they had ever had” and “the lamb was divine.” “The freshly baked, still warm, baklava was to die for!” The price was very fair considering the high quality and generous amount of food provided on the platters and included desert. Emily was very flexible and helpful with all arrangements. The staff were friendly and very capable. The venue looked beautiful and welcoming when set up. Very happy!

Had a great lunch with friends on the weekend at The Living Room. The staff were great, food was great, such an easy environment to be in and catch up with friends. Will definitely go back.

From the booking and organising, dealing with Paul and Emily was such a pleasure and nothing was too difficult to organise, change or adjust. Then on the night everything went off so smoothly. We really appreciated the small touches to make the space more “ours”, the fresh, delicious food and the pleasant, attentive staff that showered us with excellent service. It was a memorable, fun night and I would recommend The Living Room to anyone who is looking for a great venue. Thank you for a great evening.

Had the lamb feast for two, half charcoal chicken, zucchini balls and a cocktail. Cocktail was nice. Chicken was also quite good. Zucchini balls however were unpleasant. Not like regular zucchini balls. Basically just shredded zucchini fried in a ball, no dough at all. (See image below). Lamb was mediocre at best. A bit chewy and not very flavourful. (See image below). Plate of lamb included in the feast was smaller than expected, especially for something labelled as a feast. Roast potatoes were good, a little salty though. Atmosphere was okay. Staff gave us the wrong table for our booking even though we booked over two weeks in advance. Overall quite a mediocre experience, we didn’t even finish our food, we just took the rest to go after trying the lamb. Food is definitely overpriced as well. Quite disappointing.

An amazing experience... what a great meal and drinks... hats off to the team for making us feel so welcome, the drinks were the best cocktails we have ever had... and the food... the food... I wouldn't know how to describe the amazing culinary experience... we couldn't even finish it so much food... had to takeaway desert... We will be back and spreading the word! First time at this lovely place and boy it was divine. The food, the ambience, the staff and the whole atmosphere was absolutely A1 perfect. Highly recommend this place, fine produce was used this was obvious. As the flavours were absolutely igniting and popping in excitement. The fish was divine, and the plate I had shared of seafood and other lovely delicacies was all gone and devoured. It was simply 5 stars. We'll be back thankyou..

We had such a great experience. The staff were so friendly and helpful it was a first time at the restaraunt and they knew what to suggest off the menu. Our food came out beautifully served and quick too even though it was fairly busy. The quality of the food was impressive with lots of flavour and it was a good amount too. At the end of the night we were full, happy and wanting to plan our next meal there. ii very highly recommend to anyone who is local or out of town to come here.

The hostess was very helpful in choosing our menu as it was for a group of 14. All staff were very efficient & friendly. Our meal was very enjoyable. The birthday person was made to feel very special. We would certainly recommend the Living Room to friends & family.

Came here to eat, the service was very friendly and it was a nice atmosphere. The pork belly bao buns and potatoes were absolutely delicious. But the Lamb for $35pp was not worth the price and unfortunately just wasn’t nice it was chewy and fatty and was unable to eat most of it. I would maybe come back for the buns and try something else.

Exceeded my expectations in every way! We stumbled past this place on the way shopping - so happy i walked in and met Emily. She was so friendly & squeezed us in for dinner that night. We ordered the cheeseburger dolmades & the lamb feast for 2 - both busting with flavours! The place had such a great atmosphere that after our meal we stayed and enjoyed their cocktails. Despite the high quality the prices are surprisingly reasonable. This restaurant is a true gem. I highly recommend paying a visit. You wont be disappointed!!! Cant wait to come back!

I had the dinner part of my Hen's Night at The Living Room. The good was incredible, everything came out in a timely manner, and the staff were so lovely and approachable. The restaurant was full of happy customers, and everyone left with huge smiles on their faces. The cocktails were also amazing, all of my friends loved the ones they had ordered! We'll definitely be coming back!

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Wollongong. It's a small family owned business that the owners have poured their whole heart into and you can really feel it. The food and the atmosphere are amazing. The owners Em and Paul always go out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodate for our dietary requirements. There aren't too many places in the Wollongong area where the food is both delicious and healthy at the same time, but The Living Room definitely ticks both of these boxes!

Had a fantastic meal with some family. Food was great across the board, cooked perfectly, generous servings. Special mention for the saganaki prawns. Maisey serving us was awesome and the owner Emily was lovely. Definitely give it a go.

Wow……. Very impressed with this menu. $49 seafood feast including 1/2 price beverages. Seafood was cooked to perfection and cocktails 🍸 were delicious. There was more courses, just got caught up in the feast and missed some pictures. Can’t wait to return again very soon. Thank you for an amazing lunch today !!!

If I could give 6 stars I would. We shared the seafood platter and it was amazing. The Saganaki prawns are utterly delicious. The menu is Greek influenced and the food presentation and quality is excellent. They serve a wide range of drinks and cocktails, and the service was friendly, attentive and welcoming. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our meal but that simply reflected the quality of preparation. The barramundi was obviously freshly cooked and perfectly prepared. The potatoes baked in lamb fat and rosemary are so yummy. Highly recommended.

My baby shower was here and I’m so happy with my choice. The food was great, the space was beautiful and the staff were super friendly even though we interrupted their way to the kitchen the whole time for taking photos and other activities. I strongly recommend this place for your events.

Almost everyone will be able to find something to love on the menu! I had the smoothie bowl, tropical and delicious - well balanced with the toasted muesli!

This establishment now offers yummy Greek cuisine. If they can, I think they need to promote this fact more. Our table had some lovely dishes including the mousakka, and a Greek tasting plate. We concluded our lunch with a yummy coffee. The waiter was very cheery and willing to converse. Reasonably priced and nice little touches like softly seared vined tomatoes as part of a side salad. Great venue to hold a private party post-covid.

This place never disappoints! Always such fresh and delicious food, leaving me satisfied. Tonight I shared an Original Platter which was so great, the meat was tender, the haloumi was perfectly squeaky and I can never go past the arancini balls, delicious! I also had an excellent Aperol Spritz (ones of my faves). The staff were also great, super friendly and attentive (but not in an over bearing way). If you want a quality dinner out, I'd definitely recommend here.

Great wheelchair access...ramp from door and wide spacings inside. Definitely a restaurant we'll be revisiting. If I lived in Wollongong I could see this place becoming my "regular." Amazing platters with yummy Greek food. Very generous serving sizes. The staff are really friendly and professional. Both the front of house manager and the head chef came to check that everything was ok and were open to feedback. Fun atmosphere for group meetups. Excellent cocktails too.

Ordered the sharing plater for two. Wasn't overly impressed for what it cost ($100). A bit boring taste wise. Service was good. Cocktails were nice.

It's been a while since we have been but I think there is new management. It's still a great place with a great vibe and really friendly service. I miss the big platters they used to do but oh well things change. We had the all you can eat roast and it was delicious! Only thing is we would have liked some apple sauce, mint sauce, gravy etc. It's just a shame my belly isn't bigger so I could have eaten more.

We had a group of 12 and every single one of us absolutely loved our food, we all walked out full, content and happy. The customer service is fantastic with staff accommodating all needs and checking everything and everyone is going well. The cocktails are an added bonus and so delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the Living Room to one and all.
