Well, I wasn't going to go to the zoo when I saw it as an attraction. I don't really agree with them, and I'm pretty tight with cash. After visiting the cemetery for the fallen of 1920, I thought we would wander around the outside and see if we could see anything. We'll we could, and we thought how can anyone inside see these animals. We walked halfway around the perimeter, looking at the different animals, and then found the zoo entrance. We looked for the pay booth, and there wasn't one; would you believe it? It was FREE. We then wandered around the other half where the animals we viewed from the inside. As I said earlier, I'm not that keen on locking animals up for human enjoyment, but I guess I didn't have to worry. The zoo was primarily made up of farm yard animals, which have technically been domesticated for many thousands of years. All in all, give it a try with or without kids, and while you're in the area, visit the cemetery a two minute walk away.

Rock up and see some creatures for free!

It was wonderful! It’s free to visit, not so crowded. I loved how tidy and clean it is, so rare for a zoo. I recommend it! Some animals were hidden somewhere when we went there but it’s still super cute and worth visiting.

Very nice zoo where animals live in an open place and the entrance is free😍 I loved the fact that you can see animals that are rare to find like Male Daniels if you don’t know those you owe a visit to the zoo🫠 P.S dogs are not allowed in

Nice place for kids, all day adventure, lots of animals, available snacks on site, toilet facilities, playground. Kids loved it.

An amazingly charming zoo. Having seen it decades ago as a child, I'm amazed at the amount of genuine love and care that went into restoring it, expanding the facilities, vastly improving the living conditions of the animals, as well as the gorgeous presentation. A truly lovely place!

Free entry, so i was surprised to see a really nice set of animals, but they need a bit more water in the summer. Still a great FREE spot to visit while in the area

Very small, very clean, very beautiful place

I love this place. All my childhood weekend spent visiting the zoo. It has changed a lot during past years. I can't wait to see when żubry - bisons will be back. Also surrounding is beautiful full of trees and squirrels and this is during the winter, can't wait to visit during spring and summer time. This is free entrance!!!

This is small zoo, with local animals. It is located in the park so you can combine visit with stroll threw the park. It is free, but well maintained. Recommend to go with small kids.

Great for a walk with a dog, you can't go inside, but you can see 90% of the zoo from the outside. Local animals are a treat!

Have you seen real bear chillin in a sleeping net? :D Was not expecting this zoo to be anything special but I was wrong. All animals are groomed and not hiding, they actually like to be seen and love human company. They are so satisfied and well kept.

Really neat little (free) zoo in Bialystok. Kids enjoyed the animals and the shade throughout the park is nice in a hot summer day. You can expect Zubr (Polish bison), wild boars, deers and more.

small zoo, but clean and regulated... you can see birds, 4-legs animal etc... they provide polish explanation on every animal cage
