Very good tourist destination, despite the vicissitudes of history. You can see Military Defense Buildings here that are more than 200 years old.

This is a nice place to stay. I reviewed Royal modlin Hotel a while ago, it was nice then. But also seems that they have upped the level a little. As it been quite a while here is a new review. Room was good, access is good access to airport is fab and raci only takes 5 minutes. We again used this to stop over for an early flight out. It's perfect for that, but likely so much more. It's a tranquil place surrounded by trees and a large garden. There is a children's area. A nice viewing platform at the old walls looking out onto fabulous vistas of the river. Staff are helpful. Costs are quite reasonable.

Great place! Huge! Wonderful to visit! You can go there alone, can go with your friends, with your family. Good to learn history with kids!! Historical place! Marvelous! Great monumental of defence! Good place to study polish history !

An old historical military fort. Interesting typical architecture a d a small military museum make it worth the visit.

Twierdza Modlin is a very unique place when talking about military buildings and strategy. Try to find similar building complex in Europe! If you are hesitating to visit it- don’t! You will not regret it. Local tour guide is necessary, but also crucial to understand the buildings and its history. A must see!

Lots of history happens here. Very interesting place.

This is a very nice place to visit with several different things going on at the same time. First thing you do is you walk up to the top of the stairs and get a beautiful panoramic view of the area and on the day that we were there you could see the skyline of Warsaw which was beautiful. You also get a good view of the river and the adjoining complex. We went downstairs and looked at the CODI displays. If you're not familiar with the CODI it is similar to Legos and they have many historical military displays which you can see on the picture so I've been enclosed. The one thing that I will knock off a star is the stores never seems to be open when we visit to purchase which is different than the store when you enter and pay the ticket. I am talking about the store in the CODI display area. From there we went outside and they have a bunch of old military vehicles everything from a medical truck to a old t-55 tank. Overall great experience and worth the visit. I am hoping that they will fix the issue with the opening of the store which would make this even better.

Good place for get away trip, calm picturesque but unfortunately not well developed tourist attraction. Local staff barely understands and speaks English. There are 3 tourists trails but to know this you need to find only information stand.

It was spontaneous trip and unexpected impressions! The Fortress is really huge! Linked with Swedes, Napoleon, the Russian Empire. We can saw only outer perimeter, unfortunately it is not a museum or entertainment place. But in the end of February there was the Runmageddon. If you want to see smt wild - not neat and accurate- welcome)) So you can’t see all, but can see much! Hope to come again.

So amazing hotel! I was happy to stay there! So kind and helpful workers, very friendly and so sweet! Very beautiful design of hotel. Very clean. And locate in so beautiful place. Room is clean and so cozy! I will be happy to back there again

Great example of XIX fortress. Interesting museum created in old Powder House. Beaut park for walking with dog or jogging.

Beautiful place in warsaw. Loved it! They played classical music for the light show.

The old Russian fortress. Sadly very neglected, but there is a gleam of hope - the object changes to better almost every year. Well done. One interesting curio - the fortress includes the longest worldwide barracks and propably the longest building in Europe.

Definitely worth to see. Enormous building complex with many other constructions around. You can spent hours to explore it all around. You can feel the historical vibe just looking around you standing among the buildings.

Nice place to visit, but the tourist infrastructure is weak. I hope that in future someone will fine a way to make this place great again.

The Fortress is nice, but it is a shame that is all left to decay. We pay the entrance to the tower and you can see most of it from above. The view is really nice but the inside is all ruined. We walked around trying to reach the White Tower, but the path was not clear as, at a certain point, we found ourselves in the middle of nowhere, and we turned back.

Big place. Museum is small but not bad. The tower has decent views. Both can be done for 25 zloty so it’s affordable. There’s just not much here other than walking around the outside. It only took me about an hour and I was looking for what else there was to do. Perhaps paying for a guide would’ve made it better. I did a self-tour but was disappointed when I couldn’t go inside the actual fortress building.
