While on vacation I was looking for delicious breakfast. When we arrived, there was a lot of people waiting, which was an indicator that the food is great. We waited almost an hour so by the time we were seated, we placed our order. The waitress was awesome, she had great recommendations! I ordered the Pork Chop & Eggs, my girlfriend ordered Ham & Eggs. The food was exquisite; best pork chop I’ve ever had! The portions were large and our tab was only $32.00! I highly recommend this restaurant!

I would suggest checking the menu before you go. The price to value is way off. I would have preferred better Covid practices by staff. Ordered appetizer mozzarella cheese sticks $11 for 6! For meal: Burger, Lemon Chicken and tomato soup w/grilled cheese and one drink. $60. If the portions were right, this would be on the high side but just okay. Sorry took bite of meal and forgot to take picture, so please use your imagination. The service was a bit slow with refills and overall service. Others did check in after we received our meal to see if we needed anything else. The atmosphere was good and felt like a cowboy (not football) theme. I always enjoy trying new places and believe in giving fair reviews.

The best experience we've had since moving to Texas! Would recommend to anyone looking for good food, attentive staff and a super awesome/nice chef. Once seated we were greeted by the chef with a sample of banana and Bavarian creme waffles; yum! Then was nice enough to share a slice of their homemade bread, on the house, with my husband who is a connisseur of bread 😋 servings are huge so I may have ordered a half order if possible of the chicken and waffles. Overall great experience!

Wow, the kitchen works fast and the food is on point! The presentation is amazing and the food tastes how it looks. The big lamb is a must try! I do not normally eat lamb and I found it was very delicious. We went on a Friday morning, not too busy. But 10:30 rolled around and it was picking up. I do recommend going early as it does get very very busy! Needless to say, the place is very nice. The tables are close together so not much room for social distancing. But still a great environment overall. Will be back again.

Down home cooking meets fine dining! Amazingly delicious food at unbelievable prices. Hearty portion sizes at only $15 per plate. I just had to order a side of duck bacon to taste. The chef greets every table to ensure his customers are satisfied. Don't let the current renovations scare you off. The food is worth the visit, and the service was great. Chops & Eggs is a hidden gem of Corpus Christi.

I took my wife here for her birthday breakfast. She had a pineapple mimosa and an awesome French toast. I had the traditional eggs Benedict and pancakes. The food was great, and our waitress, Kayla, was pleasant and amazing. She referred to my wife as "beautiful" when she was ordering, and it felt genuine. Overall, it was great, and would definitely recommend to anyone, especially for breakfast.

We're new residents to Corpus and I wanted to try an all you can eat Sunday brunch. One stop at Glass Pavilion and we had a change of heart and plans. We navigated here and so glad we did. The service was great from the beginning. We ordered our food and even though there was a little wait. It was well worth it! From the omelette, or the tomato basil soup with cheese grilled sandwich to the lamb chops and home fries potatoes 🥔. The ONLY downside was the cramped seating. I was worried about knocking people in the isle with my elbow and then not elbowing my wife on the other side. Slow go as we ate. In conclusion, the breakfast was great for all at our table. Can't wait to come back for a good lunch. I highly recommend stopping in and trying out their breakfast, lunch or dinner. Menu is pretty awesome.

We used their online service to make a reservation and it was great. We barely had to wait at all on a busy Sunday. Fantastic service/wait staff made our experience. Mimosa was yummy. Their brunch menu was one of the best I’ve ever seen. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I had the lamb omelette, and it was the BEST lamb I’ve ever eaten… so tender. The banana pancakes were divine. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and we will definitely be back.

This place has delicious food and outstanding customer service. Best part is they have vegan options that are really good. The portions are appropriate for the cost and the presentation of the food is top tier. My children raved about the service and the food and trust me they will let me know when they don't like something. The vibe is family friendly and very loving. I was very pleased from the front door greeting to my parting good bye. Our hostess Mechele made us feel like we were her only table although we were not. I will definitely return and I definitely recommend.

It was meh. Waffles were like complimentary hotel waffles. The few things I liked on my plate were the potatoes and eggs. That being said, the entire staff does not wear face masks. And they talk over you as you’re eating food in your safe COVID free bubble. 🙄 no thanks!! With the rise in COVID cases, why aren’t we practicing safe COVID measures people? It’s expected when you live in Texas. ✌🏽 enjoy your food, as I go get tested real quick.

Omg it's so good I ate there and ordee a dish to come home and all of it was good. While I was they're everyone raved about this place. Parking is a little wait trick to getting a parking spot wait for people to come out and ask for thier spot. It's worth the wait.

One of my favorite breakfast places in Corpus Christi. Food is delicious and staff is friendly. Is usually very busy on the weekends or morning but is so worth it. The portions are big to me. Try the green tomatoes appetizer it was very good. Will definitely go back once i go visit Corpus again.

The good was delicious! I LOVED the dry noodle snack they put on the chicken&waffles. The atmosphere was great, could improve on the table service and i expected glass beer mugs. But over all it was a great experience. Defintely recommendable!

The service was awesome. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food did not take very long but it was worth it. It was so good. The potatoes really hit the spot, got to try the duck bacon and I enjoyed it. Also had red velvet waffle and that was good. Not too sweet. All in all i highly recommended stopping by if you can.

First time visiting based on reviews. The food is delicious and they have nice size plates. There were seven of us and we still had to get to go boxes. We tried their chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy meal with eggs and potatoes. Boneless wings and mozzarella sticks. We will be visiting again. The ginger ale was refreshing!!

The eggs were cooked to perfection. Loved the sauce on top. And the extra spicy sauce on the rim of the plate. The fries were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Jalapenos in the burger could use a little more kick. Overall a good experience.

1st restaurant after the move to town. Man this place is pretty cool, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. My 1st impression was great. The food was let’s just say “fat boy status”. I was defeated. Do yourself a favor and don’t order multiple plates thinking your gonna get a small serving. Every plate from the kitchen was just massive. Gonna have to make this place a regular stop.

I was in town for work and ended up choosing this establishment, everyday for the week while I was there. Everything about it was absolutely perfect, I had a different meal each time and it was all so satisfying, if I could give this location 10 stars id give it 12. The place was clean and nice, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was always cooked to perfection, if I'm ever in town for work or a trip I'll definitely be back, everyone there needs some more money for a spending job.

One thing I did not know about this place is that breakfast is all day and the whole menu is available at dinner. Another thing I didn't know is that after 2 children eat free. I actually found this strange because the food for the kids meal was substantial. They didn't have a kids cheeseburger so I asked to add a hamburger patty to their grilled cheese. They did with an upcharge which was basically the price of a kids meal. Normally I wouldn't have done that, but I did promise the kid specifically a cheeseburger and incorrectly assumed they would have one. I tasted his grilled cheese burger and it was pretty legit. To be completely honest I stopped here for dinner because I remembered they had fried green tomatoes after 3pm (something I read over a year ago) and really wanted some. No other place here to my knowledge has fried green tomatoes on the menu. Okay so a little brutally, the fried green tomatoes were fine but like...four of them? It costs 15 dollars as an appetizer. They were displayed in such a convoluted and unnecessary way I'm assuming to make you forget this fact. The entree I ordered was also $15 and this was incredibly reasonable. 10 oz steak, asparagus and roasted papas with a salad...$15 dollars is amazing. Why...are 4 fried green tomatoes $15 dollars? I can't get over this. A huge kids meal is free? I can't get over this. Side note but it needs to be said. The side salad was in a small skillet. OK I get that you are going for farmhouse aesthetic. But at some point I think you have to admit that a salad in a skillet is confusing and not actually farmhouse. If you absolutely have to do something for aesthetics, those wooden woven salad bowls every actual farmhouse has or like a wooden pail no actual farmhouse has, comes to mind. Also I felt bad for my waitress who had to keep refilling my drink because it was in an incredibly small cup. Kudos that it was metal though. Metal cups are super actual farmhouse.

You would love this place. The food is great! The service is wonderful! The atmosphere is the best in CC, TEXAS. My family & I travel from SA, TX on this trip for the sole purpose to eat at CHOPS & EGGS If you eat here once this will be on your favorite to eat place, lists!

Both my husband and I have heard about this place from so many people, we just had to check it out. We came on a Sunday afternoon, so there was a bit of a wait. But it was worth it! Our server, George, was very friendly and attentive. The Bloody Mary was very good... but the food, amazing! I got the seafood omelet. The shrimp had a very good seasoning on it, and the crabcakes were great. My husband got the lamb omelet. The flavor and cook of the lamb was perfect. I definitely recommend this place, but if you don't want to wait, might want to go on a weekday.

This place was packed with customers, and rightfully so. We had heard nothing but amazing things from others about this restaurant. We called ahead to get ourselves on the waiting list. It was a 45 min wait, but we did not mind waiting as long as the experience and food were going to be worth it. Once we entered the building, the place was loaded with customers. We were greeted immediately and waited for our table. Once we were sitting down, we got our drinks, and the waitress was so kind, patient, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We asked for some recommendations on the food, but honestly, everything looked appetizing. My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak (his favorite dish) with some sausages and a waffle. He stated it's the best of the best! My daughter ordered the French toast combo, and she ate her entire plate! I ordered the corned beef hash, and let me tell you, it was fantastic! I loved that they served it in a cast iron! The portions are large, so be prepared to take home leftovers! This place will be on our rotation for our after Church brunch list!! Smiles and full bellies all around! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon and some amazing dishes, we look forward to trying more dishes there soon!

We enjoyed our breakfast. My husband and I ordered the Farmer combo, and he loved the lamb bacon. My kids shared the chicken and waffles. The chicken was a little dry and bland, but okay. The portions were perfect and we paid around $60. The coffee is great. Service was okay; we waited about 10 minutes before someone took our drink order, but to be fair, the place was full. The restrooms were a little dirty. Overall, our experience was good, and for sure we will be back to try their lunch menu.

We had a pretty rough morning, but our waiter Aaron was able to turn it around. He was super attentive and awesome. The food was hot! I had the fried chicken Benedict and red velvet pancakes and they were amazing! This visit was bar none the best my family has had in a while. Thank you Chops!

This is wonderful place to try. We really enjoyed ourselves. It is a little pricey, but the food is excellent. I had the lamb filet. It was done perfectly, very tender, done just right, and so delicious. The potatoes were tasty also with a unique favor served with fresh rosemary and tender Asparagus. My friend had a margarita, it was really tasty too. He had chicken fried steak. He said it was a little well done, but delicious, served with cream gravey. Good portions.

I was only visiting Corpus Christi when I came to breakfast here. The reviews were really good and I gave it a shot. The service was very good and the restaurant has a nice ambience. I was very hopeful of the place since they have a chef and everything but in my humble opinion it was mediocre. I ordered the chicken and waffles which did have a beautiful presentation but the chicken was bland. It was surprisingly bland considering that the breading supposedly had all of these spices. It was a very good portion and it really did look beautiful but even the waffle was pretty bland. If you're not terribly picky it is a nice place to sit and chat with someone but for me the food fell short of a higher review.

Fantastic atmosphere. The beakfast menu is plush with artisan craft dishes that are LARGE in portion size. Lots of craft meat choices (thick cut ham, turkey bacon, duck bacon, pork sausage, sirloin, salmon, etc). Free range eggs. The breakfast potatoes are cube cut but crisped perfectly. Pancakes & French Toast have a great flavor and are filling. Our waitress was Alyssa D and she did a superb job!

I say, make sure you join the wait-list on Google maps, although I believe it didn't make much of a difference in the wait time. Be prepared to wait. With that said... It's worth it! The food was delicious and the presentation was very nice. I order the Herder burger and it was so good. My hubby ordered an omelette with duck bacon and he really enjoyed it. We were looking for a brunch place before driving 2 hours back home after visiting Corpus Christi, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The manager walks and makes you feel at home. He even brought us s free little dessert that was very tasty. Will definitely be back if we're in this city again. PLUS: they have plenty of gluten free options

Top shelf! Huge portions. The chefs here absolutely know their stuff. The vegan omelet with vegan beef, vegan cheese, peppers, onions, salsa and avocado was incredible. We will be back! Check out the presentation in this photo! This plate was actually a platter.

First time at this restaurant. The floor plan was a little odd and not really convenient for large people to pass through. The server was great, especially serving a table of 11! She was very attentive, took care of several details. I ordered a steak which according to the menu came with 3 eggs, fruit, potatoes and a biscuit. The potatoes were well seasoned, but not good for leftovers. The eggs were cooked as asked but I was expecting more than a small wedge of a pineapple. The hot sauce that my name was written was great tasting, used it in the eggs. The biscuit stick was dried, probably over mixed. I took the steak as a leftover, which was very flavorful with seasonings. Pretty plating but not greatly impressed. But I will try this place one more time after the holidays.
