Breakfast and lunch is much better then the dinner. Great atmosphere and great service. Wait staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs.

Charming decorated, front beach location, excellent menu and exquisite food.

Amazing view and great food! The staff was so accommodating and literally made us dishes that weren't on the menu! All inclusive is the way to go. We definitely preferred this restaurant over the main restaurant on the resort.

Great views for sunset last night and our waiter Richard was outstanding!! The salad bar had delicious options such as Nopal and cheese and marinated mushrooms. YUM. The ceviche was also delicious. My pork chop was overcooked, but my friends shrimp skewers were perfect. The highlight of the evening was the table side Mecican coffee made by Richard! It was so fun to watch him make it, and it was delicious!!

The view and atmosphere were outstanding. The staff was also top notch. The food was hit or miss. The breakfast buffet was a standout. The Mexican dishes were very good too. The other items were ok but just ok.

Great covered patio on the beach... a nice, warm ocean breeze usually present. Pretty average food, not bad, just not great. Servers are very attentive. Live music every night. One of two restaurants at Velas Vallarta. Part of their all-inclusive.

BEAUTIFUL Puerto Vallarta!!! Highly recommend staying here at the Velas Vallarta all-inclusive resort! The rooms, service, food, drinks, EVERYTHING is spectacular! La Ribera Restaurant is on the resort next to the beach (perfect ocean view location). Breakfast omelets and dinner buffet here is great. At the end of dinner, be sure to ask for the flaming coffee dessert beverage show (best viewed at night)!

Update 2023 The covid restrictions are gone the buffet is back and the food and service is good, really good. Breakfast and lunch here, you won't be disappointed. Super consistent restuarant on the beach. Food always hot and fresh. The chips and guacamole is fresh made.

Nice experience with a great ocean view and great food. The surf and turf pizza is to die for. Staff were exceptional !

We had the buffet each time. The appetizers were very good. The salmon was mushy and the beef sirloin was overcooked to the point of no return. The prime rib roast was colorful but lack taste. It was the last time we eat at the resort.

We were disappointed in this restaurant. Beautiful location on the beach though. Food was below average. Potato's were hard and there wasn't much of a selection. Service a little slow.

The setting us wonderful. The service is perfect. The food is wonderful. They always try to do something special. We had Flaming Coffee. What a treat and so fun to watch

Great service. Was there for lunch and we had whatever the Spanish equivalent of a strip steak. Came with guacamole, rice, and beans. Ordered it medium-rare and came out perfect. Sometimes I'm a bit leery about ordering meat other than at least medium, but this is a nice enough place that I didn't worry.

Great waiters, the service was so good, which I give a 5, that it made up for the above-average (but not fine dining) food, which I'd give a 4.
