I
led
a
group
of
21
Australian
volunteers
and
the
trip's
treat
was
to
swim
with
whales.
Deep
Blue
were
the
most
responsive
and
professional
alternative
I
dealt
with:
Tukia
and
her
daughters
run
a
very
good
operation.
For
over
10
minutes
we
had
the
incredible
opportunity
to
follow
a
"heat
rush",
with
seven
male
whales
chasing
a
female
-
definitely
the
highlight.
We
were
able
to
do
two
dives
each
and
swam
with
a
mother
whale,
her
calf
and
their
escort.
The
guides
ensured
everyone
was
able
to
see
the
whales,
as
well
as
being
concerned
for
the
whales'
habitat
and
space.
After
spending
some
time
at
a
pristine
and
tiny
island
snorkeling
in
the
reef
we
went
looking
for
more
whales.
We
enjoyed
great
whale
watching
but
had
two
abort
two
swimming
attempts
-
however
it
didn't
matter
given
our
earlier
experience
with
the
heat
rush
and
swims.
The
day
of
my
swim
there
were
12
swimmers
on
the
boat
and
almost
1
to
1
staff.
The
guides
are
very
friendly
and
helpful.
The
baguettes
we
had
for
lunch
were
fantastic
and
the
snacks
were
timely.
Snorkeling
equipment
and
wet
suits
were
in
good
condition.
Many
thanks
to
the
skipper,
Lucy,
Hannah,
Brigid,
Sale
and
the
rest
of
the
crew.
I
hope
to
be
back
one
day!
