Let
me
begin
with
my
rant,
not
the
restaurant's
fault.
We
arrived
shortly
after
a
very
busy
3
weeks
where
there
was
short
supply
everywhere.
They
didn't
have
salmon
or
tuna.
No
problem
😊.
They
didn't
have
local
root
vegies:
taro,
sweet
potatoes,
and
yams.
No
problem.
What
they
did
have
was
a
burst
of
flavors
that
made
the
long
walk
from
the
Emrald
hotel
worth
the
round
trip
on
foot.
I
would
do
it
every
night
if
I
had
been
here
earlier.
Unfortunately
for
us,
this
is
our
last
night
here.
We
had
the
seafood
chowder
and
prawn
dish
as
starters.
Both
robust,
fresh,
and
delicious.
I'll
take
with
me
the
memory
of
the
hint
of
cumin
and
ginger
flavors
of
the
prawns.
The
toasted
sesame
on
the
fresh
steamed
rice
reminded
me
of
my
travels
in
Japan.
The
chowder
married
muscles,
scallops,
and
shrimp
in
a
creamy
rich
broth
with
a
hint
of
ghost
peppers
to
greet
the
pallet.
It's
not
spicy
hot
but
just
enough
to
long
for
more.
Our
drinks
were
basic
because
I
wanted
just
whiskey
neat
as
a
cleanser.
The
island
lacks
pallet
cleanser
dishes.
Mains
were
both
the
Adobo
for
me
and
Mahi
Mahi
for
him.
Can't
even
say
enough
of
how
amazing
these
were.
Worthy
of
any
fine
establishments
in
the
states
or
elsewhere.
Bravo!
