The last time I visited was seven years ago and it is still as amazing as it was then. The staff are so friendly and inviting. I know it's their job but they really make you feel like you are part of the family. Fantastic experience. Do yourself a favor and visit here when you visit the Barossa Valley.

The best wines we tasted in 2 days. We bought a few bottles and our Aussie friends joined their wine club. We were served by Donna, who was great.

This is the best winery in the world (yes, I mean it). The tasting of the most amazing 100 + years old Barossa wines paired with the explanation of the Barossa history and geography is just nothing but outstanding. Jonathan is THE Barossa storyteller, thanks so much l.!

Langmeil is my favourite SA winery, and their cellar door is an absolute must! Their tastings are generous, so avoid being the designated driver (better still, spend the weekend in Tanunda). Langmeil have an excellent variety of wines to suit all tastes. I'm not usually a fan of Rose, but I could not go past their Bella Rouge. A few of those made it into my order (again). The Three Gardens (both the red and the white) are family favourites, and make the perfect gift. The Barossa is known for its big, beefy reds and the back page of the tasting menu is full of them. The Valley Floor Shiraz is a typical Barossa offering. Just magnificent. For those who really love this style, the further down the list you go, the better they get! This is a family run winery and they excel at making you feel at home in their home. Make sure you have a walk around the restored buildings outside the cellar door too.

Langmeil offers a very generous and complimentary wine tasting and you can select the wines that you would like to try. The service is so welcoming and friendly. We purchased a lovely selection of their wines. A wonderful experience. Very glad we popped in here!

A favourite winery of ours, surrounded by beautiful out-buildings, trees and grass areas. The staff are always so friendly and happy to recommend different tastings and their favourite drops. There are tables inside, and spots outside too. Our favourite red has to be the Massimo! An easy drinker if you’re new to reds. @kirbystaltari

Mel has taken us through an incredible journey through the wine list. She built a bridge across all the different wines and their history. She made us at feel at home. Be sure to ask her what her favourite wine is. Best experience in the Barossa so far!

Great wines and brilliant service! We purchased some bottles and had them delivered whilst on holiday. There was an error in what we received, however Jonathan and the team went above and beyond to rectify the situation. The outcome far exceeded our expectations. Thanks so very much. Will order another round soon!

Revisited one of our favourite wineries here in the Barossa, Langmeil in Tanunda, to taste the new releases from 2021. The High Road Chardonnay is a delicious wine, crisp buttery and full of chardie flavors.Their Three Gardens Viogner-Marsanne-Rousanne was my pick of the new whites, well balanced, soft from the viogner, and oh so easy to drink. But the pick of the new crop is the Bella Rouge Cab Sav Rose. Amazing colour, exceptional fruit flavor, almost like a fruity red, but with a clean fresh finish. Outstanding. In the reds they have just released the 2021 Massimo Primitivo Montepulciano, another top drop from this quality winery. Will be going back to taste the 25 year old Liqueur Shiraz Tawny. #lovethiswine #rareozzies #travelsouthaustralia #winetasting #wineandfood #travelaustralia #barossavalley

This was one of the best experiences in Barossa Valley. Some of the best wines in the world. The older lady who served us today was very kind to our son which made our day even more special. I think her name was Lin. Keep growing and keep doing the great job guys. We are back to Melbourne soon, will be stocking up your wines as big fans. Xx

One of the best wineries in the Barossa. Stunning gardens... atmospheric old stone buildings and the welcoming faces behind the tastings make this a favorite. Big call out especially to Bec for your personal touch and care as we visited with my dad. And where else can you come away with a case of wine and giant chocolate freckle? Can't wait to go back

Highly recommended such friendly staff and great wines. As overseas visitors (uk) this is our 2nd visit in 3 years and love it here. The sparkling shiraz was my favourite

Beautiful grounds from the late 1830’s. Used to be an old metropolitan with an intact old butcher and blacksmith. Said to be the oldest Shiraz vineyard in the world. Huge Italian influence from the families migration from Italy. Didn’t actually love the Shiraz but we did like the Italian alternate blends

We came here on Sunday for a wine tasting session! What a beautiful winery! I was with my friends from Melbourne and they really wanted to visit a winery and do wine tasting! When we called, Donna (hope the name spelt correctly) went above and beyond to accommodate us although we came there closer to 3.15pm. She was friendly and efficient answered all our questions patiently! So informative and knowledgeable on the subject. This place is picturesque outside and warm and cozy inside! Four of us did wine tasting and we had the wine we bought from there Sunday night it self and they took some as gifts! Live Wire Riesling, Kernel Cabernet Sauvignon, Stella Nere Sparkling Shiraz and Orphan Bank Shiraz are some we liked!! As per to their website “Auricht’s legacy survives today in the Freedom vineyard believed planted as part of his mixed farm in 1843, now believed to be the oldest surviving Shiraz vineyard in the world”! Must visit winery! Great atmosphere and great wine and a whole lot of history to learn too!!!

We arrived to this winery and unfortunately we did not have a booking for the cellar door. This however was not an issue as we were accommodated to having a tasting and a lovely bottle of wine outside the wine and service were both excellent. Highly recommend visiting this gorgeous little winery.

What an amazing experience!! Second time back to Langmeil which is one out our all time favourite wineries. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Unlike many other Barossa wineries, you can taste anything you like from the menu and the host even put varying vintages side by side so you could compare the two together. Their whites were elegant and quaffable as were all the reds. Wow!! Loved the muntepulciano the best and it was such an easy process for the host to shop our wines back home. Best service and quality wines. Also beautiful grounds.
