This is a very good Thai restaurant in the downtown area of the Greenlandic capital of Nuuk, located between the Hans Egede Hotel and the Café Esmeralda. The food is good and delicious. The staff is friendly , helpful , and kind. The service is prompt and efficient. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. The restaurant gets quite busy at dinner time and it is a good idea to book in advance. If you are in Nuuk, it is worth giving this restaurant a go

Coming from Asia, I was intrigued to find a Thai restaurant being featured as one of the top restaurants in Greenland. The prices were not cheap, but the nice decor, big servings and tasty food did not disappoint. Since I came all the way to Greenland, I ordered 2 Greenlandic specialities - Klar suppe med hval (clear soup with whale meat), and Pla Rard Krapow (Deep fried redfish fillet in soya and oyster sauce). The familiar taste of Thai herbs and spices complements the fresh taste of Greenlandic seafood very well and the fusion is a delight to the tongue. (I didn't have a good impression of whale meat in Iceland because of a strong fishy/bloody taste, but this restaurant managed to mask the strong taste with lemongrass, chilli, whisky and other herbs/spices...) I wish I could try the other dishes, but since I was travelling solo, there was a limit to my stomach space and my wallet... Tip: This restaurant is very popular. Arrive before 6pm to secure a table without reservations.

Thai cuisine with Greenlandic flair. This place does chicken satay and sushi with a Greenlandic twist. I had the Greenland sushi - sashimi. It came with Salmon, Halibut, Whale skin and Whale meat and 6 rolls. All were fresh and tender.

Everything is 5 starts: food, drink, service, location, theatrics. We had the Greenlandic sushi/sashimi (whale meat, blubber, the butteriest salmon you’ve ever tasted), red fish curry and chicken red curry. All phenomenal. Good wine selection that came in personal bottles and an incredible showmanship for the Greenlandic coffee. The dramatic show received applause and we were equally happy with the drink.

This classic Thai restaurant is a tried and true place to eat. Ever since I was a child, the menu has stayed true with little changes (as far as I remember), but the dishes are still great and tasteful. They offer some fine greenlandic themed ones with greenlandic ingredients, but it's mostly about the Thai food. It is presented in a classic restaurant way, more so than a traditional Thai food place, so it's a place to go for a more formal experience. The place is rather dark but cozy, lighting is dim and warm, and there isn't any music playing, so it's a great place to have a date and enjoy conversation without too much noise from others (unless there's a big group eating out together). Anyway, the place is a classic, the food is yummy, the prices are a bit high, but the portions are generous and the service is top.

So, we took the 5 courses menu. The entry was actually really good, spring rolls and the ramen soup. But, the rest of the course was a disaster, way too salty, or way too sweet. But I mean it. We couldn’t eat it, even my Nepalese girlfriend couldn’t. To tell you we love spicy food and sweet or whatever. It has never been a problem. But this was like, really wrong. No lie. So we asked for a refound. We paid 650kr, they gave us back 150kr. At least they tried to make an effort. Positive point, the waitress in red was really nice and understood our point with the food. It’s sad because it really started really good.

A beautiful, Thai ambience with delicious Thai food with a Greenlandic twist. We got a platter of sushi, including whale sushi, and it was shockingly delicious! I also ordered some red fish in a lovely coconut curry that I highly recommend. My friend ordered a dessert of chocolate fondu with fruit and ice cream; the chocolate was melted and warmed with a candle in a cute dish (pictured). We also got pancakes (thick crepes, for Americans) and ice cream, which was an amazing way to finish the meal.

Great thai food that makes me feel at home during my 2-week trip in Thailand - highly recommend! Love how there is also greenlandic touch - with use of local fish (halibut, redfish) for traditional thai dishes Highly recommend
