I love Seamen! It's a great place to go! My kids loved Seamen so much, they were practically rolling in it! I had some problems though, the rooms were often sticky but we got through it! All in all, everyone loves Seamen here

Amazing service but there was a large walrus in my shower. I didn’t know what to do so I called the front desk and they sent a large man with a chainsaw. The walrus was quickly removed and the breakfast sausage the next day was delicious. Safe to say me and my wife Gertrude will be returning soon! Update: My wife Gertrude left me. I returned this year with my new wife Shmura. We enjoyed all the facilities the hotel had to offer. At night we where even sung to sleep by the loud moans and groans of the people in the room next door. The Rhytmic pounding beats that accompanied there beautiful voices provided Shmura and I with a once in a lifetime musical experience. Once again the sausage in the morning salad bar was delicious. I will most definitely return next year. Hopefully with the same wife!

This is a very nice hotel in a beautiful location. The Seamen's hotel is located a little bit outside of the downtown area of Nuuk, but it is easily accessible on foot - it's only about a kilometer away. But if you don't feel like it, a taxi will only be about 5 euros. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. The canteen is open from 5:30am until after 9pm. The views on the harbor are insanely beautiful

Hotel Seamens truly disappointed me. I was expecting views of the penguins, but instead there was a penguin in my bed. My friend Ben was in the room next door. He had told me that there was a walrus in his room. In fact, the penguin even showered. I will never be returning to Hotel Seamens. On my next visit to Nuuk I will most likely stay at the Nuuk Hotel instead.

Stuck in Nuuk due to weather. Booked as only room available. The staff were amazing, really sympathetic. They even gave us a lift to our next hotel as there were no taxis. Restaurant was very good. Again staff super sweet and friendly. Really nice stay.

We came to Restaurant Søma in order to try the new gourmet burger menu. I tried the sticky chicken burger. Unfortunately the chicken in my burger came out underdone, but when I contacted the staff about this, they were so quick to replace it with a whole new burger, and offer free drinks. The burger was amazing! Possibly the best chicken burger I've had. Great food and great service. Will definitely become a go-to spot for us!

We unexpectedly stayed at Hotel Soma for 2 nights because our flight got cancelled. The staf was enormously friendly, the room was very spacious and the food was delicious. Even though the circumstances weren't great with the weather, we ended up having a great time. I especially enjoyed the evening in the newly installed hottub!

The rooms were decent, and as the price is reasonable to Greenland standards and staff helpful, it will not disappoint

Hotel is not situated in the best location in town but he has good atmosphere and you can enjoy fresh local food in self service restaurant. The harbor is not busy after 5 pm.

Great location for the ferry, but it's a longer walk to city center. Great value for a hostel room or hotel room for Greenland. I stayed here 3 different times. Usually I hate staying at hostels, but Greenland is a super expensive place for accommodations, so I gave the hostel experience another try after a decade. It's not dorm style but private rooms, and I was quite satisfied. It's shared toilets and showers but each is in its individual room so there's privacy. Everything was clean. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

Very welcoming cosy hotel right next to the harbour. Friendly and helpful staff, the food was great. It just make you feel like like everyone here are friends.
