The service and food are good and the coffee is great. There is no place better for coffee. The roof top view of the wanale hill is fabulous. Imagine a backdrop of a whole hill as you dine or chill. The rooms are designed in an eco friendly way. The team operate the business with the community concept. You will more at home than in a hotel. They take a recycling approach to design most of the accessories starting from the tables, beds, seats, lighting, shades. It's very welcoming.

For the price, it's an OK place if you're stuck. Parking is not really available, unless you consider parking on the street. We had 1 towel and a minuscule soap, nothing else available. Food service is a bit slow, staff is nice. The room was OK, but the view sucked and the lighting was too low. Drastic price increase since last year... 40%. I recommend you look somewhere else.

Best place to stay at Mbale! We stayed here for few nights me, my wife, and son. The stuff is so welcoming, food is delicious, great location, all in fair prices. The owner Saleh is an amazing host helped us with all we needed. Thanks! Highly recommended!

I visited the place four years ago. And visited it now for the second time. I think what made this place so special is the restaurant on the terrace. The hotel itself is good, was hoping to see better changes in the last four year. The price is good, the room sizes are okay, and the lobby is specious which I loved with a big backyard. For the restaurant up in the Terrence it has a beautiful few and a nice atmosphere. You can do your work or have a drink with your friends. But, there are things I didn’t like about the restaurant. I ordered a juice and it took over 30 minutes to get ready. Also, the pizza was disappointing. I believe if the service of the restaurant got improved the place would be crowded.

I go to Casa to eat lunch at rooftop restaurant when ever in Mbale. It had only got better from my last visit. European can be suspicious when ordering a meatball sandwich, but not here. It was delicious and the service was friendly and professional.

It's a cool place to relax from. I and my wife had a wonderful time while there because it was so quiet there 😌

The restaurant has good food, but don’t stay overnight! Rooms are the worst! No room cleaning! Plus the charge you 3% fee when you pay by card!

Saleh, the owner, is fun to talk to and can help you arrange excursions in the area. (He sent me on a hike with Isma, a five-star, top-notch guide.) The rooftop restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. My room was really beautiful (but I think I got lucky and got the nicest room in the hotel).

We ordered for take away pizza. The staff forgot about us and after asking them we were handed a cold pizza that was clearly made earlier. Very bad first experience.

Simply a unique place, nice food and a good working space. Maybe they should stay open a little longer at night

This is the place to be if you’re visiting Mbale on a budget. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is good, and there is a great mix of local and international people to meet. There is limited secure parking. The building is old and worn in ways, but it is clean and comfortable. Update: I have returned for another stay. Everything is still great. After a long day on dirt and tar roads its great to relax on the roof top and get a good nights rest after that
