Cheapest in town and it did show to be honest. We had a private room, bed was comfy however the room was quite damp smelling making the sheets/blankets smell quite musky. No hot showers which was disappointing after a 3day trek. The bathroom wasn't very clean and didn't seem to drain very well so all the dirt seemed to stay on the bathroom floor and mucky water piled up in the corners. Towels were stained. Despite that the service from the staff was excellent! So friendly and helpful, although English was not great they really tried to communicate and help you with what you needed.

While the price was definitely the cheapest in the area, you definitely got what you payed for. The room had barely been cleaned and it was tough to communicate with the staff because of their broken English. We asked for (and payed for) a private room but got a 6 person dorm room that was only booked to us (since the entire hostel was basically empty). If you're looking for a cheap place to stay, the room was good enough and is a bed to sleep in, but you most certainly get what you pay for.

Room is filled with musky smell, not clean, no Air Conditioning, bathroom is dirty, refrigerator was full of fungus and stinky. Staff speak less of English, but very helpful. Not worth $20 per night. Floor was torn off too.

This place is great! Its indeed the cheapest in town. We got twin room for 15 $. It had private bathroom, clean sheets and towels and delicious breakfast on the roof top is a highlight. They served eggs with bread, pancakes and fresh fruits. Some of 5he stuff indeed dont speak English but the ones that does are very helpful.

For Backpacker: Cheapest guest house in town and very calm because a bit away from downtown. Rooms are not the best but the staff tries really hard and one of them speaks very well english so communication is easy. Receptionnist knew I was short on cash (last 2 days in Myanmar) so he offered to share the staff dinner with them: kindness at the highest level !

Great stay! At first we thought it was out of the way and with a 10 min walk we were in the city centre! Best price we could find in the area by far. The guy working at the front was so sweet. After a 3 day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake he drove us to a restaurant for dinner and refused to take $$ after many times trying to give. Staff was great and the room was generic but clean. Highly recommend for budget backpackers!

Those young guys tried to be very friendly, unfortunately they basically don't speak English at all though, which made it all very difficult. We asked to get our breakfast earlier in the morning as a doggy bag to take it to the lake (which is super common at the Inle lake), they said it would work. When we got up, actually no one was at the reception and we were locked in the house. When I woke up the guy to let us out he said he will prepare the breakfast right away so we decided to wait. 20minutes later we asked again, he said they are busy doing it so we decided to take bicycles and wait even longer to then find out that they didn't even start preparing it yet, because they couldn't find the key for the kitchen. We left without any breakfast and still had to pay for the bikes. I guess this was partially a language barrier problem, unfortunately the rooms aren't very clean or nice either and its pretty far off the way, considering how small that town is. So I guess the only plus-point is, that it's the cheapest place in town for 2 people.

Most terrible place in town. Dishonest staff. We book a room the day before in the reception and in the night they took other bookings on line and booked our room too! For them was normal be so NOT professional. We remained in the street toen and It was saturday, during a local party with no rooms in town..was a disaster. We made police report and we discover there were other travellers too with this problem in this place They are dishonest and a shame for all honest people of myanmar. Obviously the staff do not speak english

👍👍 Loved this hostel! Rooms and common areas were really clean. Beds and showers on the roof to relax/rest/shower in if you arrive before check in. The activities organized by the hostel are awesome and a great way to explore and meet people. Awesome rooftop which gets busy at night.
