The staff is very sympathetic and the dishes are delicious. We have taste the Mitchell's beef plate and the fish and chips. There is also a lot of choice of beers. They have also dishes for children. I recommend!

Definitely worth the visit for anyone who enjoys the British kitchen and as an - in Odense - unique experience, almost like a short holiday back to the isles. We enjoyed the Pollock, the enthusiasm and friendlyness of the waiter, the British-feeling surroundings and the restaurant as a brilliant whole. Do try the fish and chips, and remember a bit of vinegar on the potatoes. Thank you, Mitchells - we will see you again soon!

Dining here was a great experience. The owner and other staff made me feel very welcome and the food was tasty and fresh. It was clearly cooked from the heart. I had the buffet on Friday night and that had everything I expected and more: juicy meat, great Hasselback potatoes and mash, gravy, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, great vegetables. The ice cream buffet and a nice cup of coffee were a perfect finish to the meal. Very cosy and clean restaurant and definitely a decent price level compared to a lot of other restaurants in downtown Odense.

Very good British food with lots of British beers to choose from. The service was very friendly and enthusiastic. We would like to come back but that may take a while as we were on holidays from the Netherlands

Such a little gem! Genuin service, kind of a touch of fine dining but in relaxed way. And the food, wow! The whole experience was just lovely. What ever you do, don't miss this place.

We had an absolutely wonderful wedding brunch at Mitchell's. The food was lovely and the service was top tier. All of our guests felt so incredibly welcome.

Delicious food and, I will in fact say this, Great Service. We were 4 people having some great food there today. Delicious I am definitely coming again for a Scotch egg and also the delicious bangers and mash. It was joyful to hear about the food history and where the dish as well as the drink originated.

Definitely not a fine dining restaurant, rather a comfort home food, which doesn't make it taste any worse. Very attentive and kind service and knowledgeable waiter are what make you feel welcome and comfortable. We for sure enjoyed the food that was freshly prepared on spot and had some local British beers. Would love to come again soon.

My last morning in Odense and I’m so glad I came here! From the second I walked in I was warmly greeted and shown various breakfast options as they had a buffer but I ended up choosing a menu item of the English breakfast which was one of the best I’ve ever had! Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned well I don’t think I even put my cutlery down at one moment I was just loving the food that much! I also got the ginger goodness smoothie which definitely has a ginger kick but that’s the name! The cappuccino was really good and a nice big serving which I loved. I really wish this place was more busy because it absolutely deserves to be booked out every single day! You can tell how much they care through their food and amazingly friendly service. If I ever end up in Odense again I will definitely go back here many times! I highly recommend to anyone both locals and tourists to go here

Food was very tasty, owner is friendly and knows his beers ;) we got to listen to an interesting story about how some of the beers we’ve had were brewed. Food was done quickly. Very child-friendly restaurant! This must be mentioned. (Children’s seats, a play room, even a place to nurse if needed). One word: great!

The food was really good. It is British food the way it is supposed to taste! Handmade fresh sausages for the bangers and mash and really good steak and Ale pie. Dan knew a lot about the beers and his recommendations were also spot on. They have a play area for kids as well which I think is a nice touch for families who want to eat out.

This was a very nice place with great service. Except we had to wait an hour for our food. This would be acceptable if the place was full. But it was only 15-20% full. The steak and ale pie was excellent, but the sides of mashed potatoes were horrible. Do not give me a pint glass filled with ice with my cider, please.

The English breakfast served here was honestly my favorite part of passing through Odense; my only disappointment was that we weren't in town long enough to come back for dinner. Lovely family-run establishment, and absolutely worth checking out! 😙🤌👌 (Side note: my partner says that the beer selection is fantastic.)

We loved Mitchells sorry we did not get to try the carvery this time. Our group tried fish and chips which was excellent and the beef and ale pie was very good, but the sticky toffee pudding took our breath away. All topped with good service. Highly recommended 👌

First time trying a carvery and the experience certainly didn't disappoint. You could actually taste that the meat was of high quality and the service was amazing. The owner even went out of his way to create drinks for us that weren't on the menu

Excellent new pub and eatery in Odense. High quality British food in a nice and relaxed setting, good service and all at a decent price - will be back!
