Absolute must visit hike that is no doubt worth it when in Bhutan. Our guide said no trip to Bhutan is complete if you don’t do Tiger’s Nest and he was correct. If you have moderate athletic ability, the hike up will take time but easily doable.

Must visit place. The trek is very good and you will see a breathtaking view of the monastery. On the way there will be waterfalls and different birds. Please get yourself checked first if you have breathing problems because oxygen concentration will decrease which may cause problem to some people.

Moderate to hard hike. But worth the experience totally!! You could hire mules toll halfway if you’re not fit.

Memorable spiritual experience. Getting here again after 2 decades was something. The paths are well maintained and was relieved to see the railings before reaching taktshang. I remember having to crawl and move like spiders those days! Would be good to plan very early in the morning to avoid the scorching sun. Although most of the way is under shade some are not. Take plenty of sunscreen and snacks. We went on a Monday hence there were hardly anyone. Good to avoid the crowd as the main temples are quite small. You can consider a hot stone bath or a massage in one of the hotels near the base after climbing back.

Located in the cliffside of the upper valley in Bhutan, Paro Taktsang is an eminent Buddhist sacred site and is also known as Tiger’s Nest or Taktsang Palphug Monastery. This temple has become the folk icon of Bhutan which Hangs at an uncertain cliff at 10240 feet above the Paro valley, reaching the temple is only possible through a mountainous route. The remote location makes it difficult to reach but also makes it beautiful, unique and an unforgettable destination at the same time and it is one of the best places to visit in Paro. At the entrance you need to pay 100 INR and collect some sticks for upward journey . We also did so . There are samll market selling various local commodities which you can purchase for suvenior , cost is quite high. Saw some traveller coming down some are moving up . there are mules which can carry upto some height then after that you have to hike . Paths are narrow , it is the test of endurance. We stooped and had some tea and then tried to move up after sometime we were tried , it was 12PM , sun was shining , we abandoned our upward journey and started our desent through alpine forest.

Paro Taktsang, also known as the Tiger's Nest Monastery, is one of Bhutan's most iconic landmarks. Perched on a cliffside at 3,120 meters above sea level, this stunning monastery offers breathtaking views of the Paro Valley. The journey to Paro Taktsang is an adventure in itself, involving a steep hike that takes around two to three hours, depending on one's fitness level. The path winds through lush forests, with glimpses of colorful prayer flags and small shrines along the way. Upon reaching the monastery, visitors are greeted with a sense of serenity and spiritual significance. The monastery's intricate architecture and beautiful murals reflect Bhutanese Buddhist culture. Built in 1692, it is believed to be the meditation site of Guru Rinpoche, who introduced Buddhism to Bhutan in the 8th century. The monastery complex consists of four main temples and several dwellings, each connected by steps and stairways carved into the rock. Visiting Paro Taktsang is not only a visual delight but also a profound spiritual experience. The tranquility and sanctity of the place leave a lasting impression, making it a must-visit destination for travelers seeking both adventure and enlightenment.

If you only want to do one thing on your trip to Bhutan, you have to choose this one. The monastery/temple is very peaceful and soothing. The hike up takes around 3 hours and the hike down takes around 2-2.5 hours as well. The hike is moderate to hard, the intensity increases as you climb. The last part is proper concrete stairs while the earlier part is trail but a well wide and marked trail. There is one cafe in the middle of the hike which serves basic food and beverages. The hike is very satisfying. If you want a hiking stick do get it in advance as there are no shops at the base point, there is only a ticket counter for the tickets.

Undoubtedly the star attraction of Bhutan. To fully enjoy the rest of the places you'd visit during your stay, Paro Taksang (AKA the Tiger's Nest Monastery) has to be visited towards the end of your tour. Otherwise other places of interest may not be appreciated as they deserve. Paro Taksang is a beautiful location and a tough adventure as well. The trail is a challenge with beautiful scenery and a breathtaking beauty of the monastery as a reward. For those who aren't confident enough in their fitness level, my advise is take a horse back ride to the cafeteria and then push it on your own.

Start Time & Weather: We began our trek around 9 a.m. on a Sunday, and it was already fairly crowded. The weather was sunny, with a cool breeze and low temperatures, but the sun’s intensity made it important to have sun protection. I recommend bringing an umbrella or at least wearing a hat and sunglasses. Pacing: Don’t feel pressured to keep up with the locals. They’re accustomed to this trek and will naturally move faster. Take your time, enjoy the journey, and go at your own pace. Duration & Rest Stops: The entire trek took us about 5.5 hours. This includes hiking up, spending time at the temples, and the descent. There’s a café midway where you can rest. Be sure to bring plenty of water—at least one liter is advisable. Horse Ride Option: If hiking isn’t your preference, you can ride a horse up to the halfway point, but keep in mind the horses don’t go beyond that. After about 75% of the trek, you’ll encounter steps leading to Tiger’s Nest. There are around 700 steps to descend before reaching the monastery. Entry & Lockers: At the entrance to Tiger’s Nest, you’ll need to store all personal items in a locker (free of charge). This includes phones, cameras, sunglasses, hats, hiking sticks, and backpacks. You’ll be given a key for your locker. Inside the Monastery: Once inside, you can visit eight temples within the complex. Return Journey: On your way back, you’ll have to climb those 700 stairs again before continuing on the main trail back down. Entry Fees & Extras: The entry fee is 1,000 per person and can be purchased at the base where cars stop. Walking sticks are available for rent at 150 each. Challenges & Commercialization: The trek itself is fantastic, but the over-commercialization of horse rides is a drawback. Horses dominate the trail up to the halfway point, leaving it littered with droppings. This makes walking unpleasant and the air difficult to breathe. Locals, particularly those in the tourism industry, may downplay this, but it detracts from the experience. Reducing the use of horses would greatly improve the trek for walkers. Recommendations for Walkers: For those on foot, I highly recommend wearing sturdy shoes to protect your ankles and using a walking stick, which you can purchase at the base. Viewpoints: There’s a viewpoint about 70% of the way up, but tall trees now obstruct the view. However, once you start descending the 700 steps, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning view of Tiger’s Nest.

A trip to Bhutan will not be complete without attempting to complete this hike up to Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Starting point is the carpark at around 2200m elevation and you will need to hike to 3100m to reach the monastery. Recommended to start early to avoid the afternoon sun although it will be freezing in the morning. I started at around 7am and reach the midpoint cafe in about an hour plus. You can have a short rest and use the rest room here. Tiger nest is also visible in a distance so you can take some photos here. There is also an option to take a horse to this midpoint for 40USD. However make sure you are comfortable with riding a small mule and have the ability to make it downhill on your own as the horse ride is a one way ticket. For elderly and those physically challenged, I would recommend to turn back at this point, as the trek gets more difficult from this point. After the cafe, it’s another 1 hour go the 2nd viewpoint where you can take those IG shots with the temple as the backdrop. From this point, it’s a flight of downwards stairs along the side of the cliff to reach the waterfall (some counted to be around 400steps, can see the photo I attached to gauge for yourself). Steps are not very wide and look down directly into the vertical cliffs, those with fear of heights may need to take note. After that will be the final few hundred steps up to the monastery. The tour of the monastery will take around 30 to 40mins). No photography allow in the monastery. And you will not be allowed to bring in any bags or handphones into the monastery. There is also a restroom here and a viewpoint of the entire Paro valley. In all..took me around 2.5 to 3hrs to reach the monastery at a very leisure pace. Those physically fit should be able to reach in 2hrs. The journey back is equally tiring as you now need to climb up the 400 steps earlier on. I had very bad leg cramps and had to go at a snail pace and stop intermittently. Took me about 2 hrs to return to the carpark. All in all, the entire hike took around 6hrs including the rest stops and the monastery visit. I was back at the carpark before 2pm. Walking stick is recommended to protect your knees. Proper hiking shoes recommended as proper stone steps are only available from 2nd view point onwards. The rest are dirt paths and uneven treks. During winter, recommended to pack light and wear layers as the hike will start of cold soon you will feel warm and sweaty from all the tracking. Be aware of symptoms of altitude sickness and avoid taking huge breaths. Have seen a few vomit near the top due to altitude sickness. Don’t forget to bring back any trash you have. I have seen many local hikers picking up trash left behind by tourists. I appeal to everyone to respect this sacred place in Bhutan. Definitely recommended to do the hike if you do not have any medical issues.

Wonderful experience. Must visit in Bhutan. The journey has its own challenge, not gonna lie, but the destination is worth it. It took around 8 hours to complete the trek because we took it slow and truly experienced the calmness and peace the place offers. Totally worthwhile!

Magnificent magnificent Buddhist monastery. On the way up, we got on the little horse but it did not take us all the way to the top. We had to walk another hour to reach the monastery. The nature surrounding is very rich and healthy, you can really enjoy the fresh air on during the walk. The architecture of the monastery is very detailed and beautiful. This is an absolutely must to visit if you are in Bhutan.

Paro Taktsang Monastery: A Trek to Remember Paro Taktsang, also known as the "Tiger's Nest," is a stunning monastery that sits perched high in the Himalayas, and if you haven't already heard about it, you're in for a treat. This enchanting place is not just a religious site but a testament to the beauty of nature and the human spirit. Before you embark on this adventure, here's what you need to know for a memorable and comfortable trek. The Trek The trek to Paro Taktsang is an incredible journey covering a total distance of approximately 6 kilometers. Most of the path is quite steep, with inclines of around 30 degrees. Towards the end of the trek, you'll encounter about 450 stairs, each measuring 12 to 18 inches in height. It's a physical challenge, but the rewards are well worth it. Natural Beauty Along the Way Nature lovers, take note! As you make your way to the monastery, you'll come across a breathtaking waterfall that's truly awe-inspiring. Take your time to appreciate this natural wonder. Remember to bring good hiking shoes and carry at least 2 liters of water on a sunny day. If the sky is overcast, a liter should suffice. Halfway Cafe and Mud Concerns Around the halfway point of your trek, there's a cafe where you can take a break. It's worth noting that this cafe can be a bit pricey. Also, watch out for horse dung, especially if it's raining. The combination of mud and horse dung can make the path slippery, so make sure you have sturdy hiking boots. Horse or Donkey Option If you find the trek particularly challenging, you have the option to rent a horse or donkey to get you to a point about half a kilometer from the top. Rest Points and Waterfalls There are five rest points along the way and two waterfalls, but it's important to remember that the water from these falls is not suitable for drinking. However, just before reaching the top, you'll encounter a very thin stream trickling from a pipe. This water is safe to drink, so if you have an empty water bottle, fill it up. Many visitors find this water surprisingly delicious, and it's free, unlike those expensive bottled options you might find elsewhere. Entry Ticket and Gompas The entry ticket for Paro Taktsang is quite expensive at 1000 INR. However, if you're only interested in hiking, you can actually hike for free. The ticket is only checked at the entry point of the actual monastery. Along the way, you'll also come across several gompas (monasteries) where you can pray freely. Exploring the Monastery Once you reach the main monastery, you won't be allowed to take phones inside. It's an incredibly peaceful place where you can truly feel the energy of the surroundings. There's also a cave that you can explore, along with seven to eight temples, each more beautiful than the last. Don't forget to admire the intricate wall paintings, and if you have a guide, they can share fascinating stories about each of them. Breathtaking Views If you're lucky enough to have a clear sky, the views from Paro Taktsang will leave you in awe. But here's a little secret: when there are some clouds, the place becomes truly magical. No picture can capture the majestic beauty of this place adequately. Final Verdict In conclusion, if you have a deep love for nature and are up for a physical challenge, a visit to Paro Taktsang is an absolute must. This trek offers a unique blend of natural beauty, spirituality, and adventure that will stay with you long after you've left. So, don't miss out on this unforgettable experience!

This is one of the thrilling hikes in Bhutan & tskes round 4 to 5 hours for the climb & descent. Start early in the morning, so that you can come back by afternoon and explore other places. Afternoons might get hot. Climb is not difficult & you can do it in a leisurely manner. This is one of the prominent landmarks of Bhutan & a holy sight for many. I was happy to see families doing the piligrimage with their small kids in traditional attire. You can opt for pony ride at the base if you are not in shape. Carry water & some energy snacks for the hike. Altitude might pose a problem if you are not acclimatised. Journey is more beautiful than the destination

Fantastic and amazing experience trekking here all the way up at 10240 ft altitude. It’s a bit steep too. There are 8 monasteries on top. Bit strenuous if you’re not that fit as it’s steep. Dirt road. There’s a cafe mid way. Scenic views. Start early as it could get dark depending on when you visit. Enjoyable if you like challenges. Alternate is pony ride till the mid way point of the cafe. A must visit when you’re in Bhutan.

This is a must do attraction while in Bhutan, I would put it as the number 1. The views are gorgeous! *You are at a high altitude so you need some days to acclimatize. Best to do it towards the end of the trip *You need to be in decent shape else the trek won't be enjoyable. For those unable to Trek there are horses. *You must carry at least a litre of water per person and some chocolate/energy bar. There is a cafe mid way * Carry a cap as it gets sunny * There are sticks available at the start point. These are helpful for your knees * To escape the sun best to start by 8am * Wear proper shoes with ankle support * Depending upon your fitness the trek round trip takes between 3.5 - 6 hours * The trek actually is quite gentle if you are in decent shape, the 700 steps are a tad challenging * The tickets need to be bought at the base for 1000 * Everything goes into a locker at the entrance to the monastery

Excellent hike..the trek stick is available for 100..returnable..worth it don't overlook it's importance. Started early and reached back cafeteria at 1115am. The photos say a lot..the waterfall is mesmerizing. Clouds..green cover..stairs..upto the monastery have their own charm. The stick..mobiles have to be deposited at the registration counter by guide for which prepuchase of 1000 ticket is compulsory. For the hike no fees are payable The holy water is great. Enjoyed the tea served there. It is a must visit on trip to bhutan

“VOYAGE TO THE COPPER COLORED SPIRITUAL HEART OF BHUTAN”  30 minutes by car from town.  Cluster of 4 temples, 8 caves, and monk’s quarters.  Like most of the prominent buildings in Bhutan, the monastery has white walls with red/gold colour roof.  Clinging to an impossible steep and rocky cliff some 800 meters above the valley and some 3000 plus meters above sea level.  Covered in lush and varied forests. Extraordinary ecological diversity. Plenty of pine trees.  The most sacred Buddhist site in Bhutan.  Cliffside hike of 3 km one way. Easy with a stick or trek pole.  Rocky and muddy terrain takes some 2-3 hours to scale. In case of rain then some 3-4 hours.  Midway cafeteria for tea or coffee or lunch. Washrooms facilities. View the monastery from the cafeteria, if not foggy or cloudy.  Once all photos are taken, easy to hike back.  Magical experience of a lifetime.

An awesome hike to see one of the most iconic monastery in Bhutan.... built on an almost vertical rock face and require strong legs to reach the top. Most of the way is dirt trails and the final bit is just over 400 steps of descent followed by 250 steps of ascent.. The views from the cafe and the second view point just before the steps are breathtaking. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience!! Great day hike in Paro. Paro Taktsang or the Tiger’s Nest is a place you cannot miss in Bhutan. Hike is not too hard for anyone with moderate fitness. It is about 600m uphill within about 4.5km, and of course then down.

One of the most visited place in the country. And completely worth the whole day of hiking. Everyone already know the story behind the name of this monastery being Tiger's Nest. The journey takes about 2.30-3 hours one way on foot. Though horses are available for the ride, but its upto about halfway, rest is to be done on foot due to the incline & steps. The trail is very scenic & moving along greeneries. The monastery at the top is an amazing feat of marvel, considering the location & hardwork required for the infrastructure. The monks are really very nice & friendly. They offered us war butter tea to relieve our tiredness.

Yes, it can be a bit of a slog -- but if you persist and you see folks coming back after reaching the top, you'll find that they're all smiling. It's worth the occasional bits of mud or dodging the occasional overworked horse carrying an underworked tourist (the tourist-laden horses stop coming after the teahouse halfway point, though there are occasional supply-laden horses going most of the way to the top, for the monks in residence). The views in Bhutan are almost always spectacular. They are even moreso, here. Be sure to stop at the teahouse to refresh yourself. Keep in mind that the staff all make that long slog of a commute in order to work here. And some of them are lugging supplies on their backs. Just take the trip slow and steady. You can make it. Most acrophobes need not worry, as the final steep descent and ascent stairs are safely bordered by sturdy railings on the cliffside. I should know. I HATE heights, but felt perfectly comfortable at all times.

Paro Taktsang or Tiger’s Nest is one of the major attractions of Bhutan and my main purpose for doing the Bhutan tour is to visit this architectural marvel. This place is located half an hour's distance from Paro town where the entry fee is 1000₹. We started the hike at around 6.30 am and it was -3 temperature then. The hike is moderately easy if you have done enough hikes and treks before, the total hike is approximately 6 to 7 km from the basepoint. In the middle of the hike, you can visit the cafe and have some tea or coffee. The actual monastery is very big and has several gods inside. Though the hike was a little tiring, it was worth the pain. Indeed it is a must to do things when in Bhutan.

Wow, what a gem. Place is absolutely stunning to visit - but just make sure to bring some water and a good hiking mood :). The hike is from 2600-3100m and is around 4km single way. The altitude kicks in a bit, but its totally doable. You can buy some bamboo sticks at the beginning if needed. At the top you need to take off your shoes and store your bag in lockers. Also you need a guide to enter. Halfway up the hike there’s also a place to eat and drink something. Nice experience, fun hike, beautiful view

An amazing experience but ensure you are in shape as the altitude makes breathing challenging. You can start with a pony ride up to the cafeteria and viewpoint and not go to the top or you can walk all the way. Bring plenty of water, snacks, rain gear and small change for donations when you arrive at the temple. You will not be able to take photos once you get to the temple base.

Located in the cliffside of the upper valley in Bhutan, Paro Taktsang is an eminent Buddhist sacred site and is also known as Tiger’s Nest or Taktsang Palphug Monastery. This temple has become the folk icon of Bhutan which Hangs at an uncertain cliff at 10,000 feet above the Paro valley, reaching the temple is only possible through a mountainous route. The remote location makes it difficult to reach but also makes it beautiful, unique and an unforgettable destination at the same time and it is one of the best places to visit in Paro.

A must visit in Bhutan, one of the hallmarks of the country. Very crowded most of the times, start early so that you have enough time to reach the top, spend some time and descend back down. Entry fee is 1,000/- which only for the entry complex, if you plan on only hiking, you can avoid this. Ascend takes about 2hrs and gives you a sense of accomplishment once atop. Spare a full day while in Bhutan for this.

Tiger's Nest It is a heaven on earth. No visit to Bhutan is complete without visiting the Paro Taktsang popularly known as Tiger's Nest. The Tiger’s Nest Monastery is one of the world’s most iconic buildings, teetering high into the Bhutanese cliff-side around 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley.  Getting to it is the difficult part, you can take help of horses till one point but after that you have to reach Monastery on your own. If you are fit, it'll be a cakewalk or you may need to take several pit stops. You will experience scenic beauty while hiking. You have to visit this place, if you are in Bhutan.

One of the most visited places in the country - but well worth the 3-hour trek. The beginning is tougher than the second half, so don’t lose hope! And I’d recommend having a look at all the temples inside for a divine experience!

Omg this is such a wonder. You have to hike for about 2-4 hours to reach this cliffside monastery. You'll not only enjoy the views but also the wildlife in the mountains as well. Make sure to rest at the only cafe on the hiking route and start as early as possible.

Tiger’s Nest Monastery is definitely the highlight of my Bhutan trip. It’s a marvel of architecture and symbol of Bhutanese spiritual heritage. Perched on a cliffside at 10,240ft above sea level, it’s a pilgrimage site for Buddhists. Technically not a difficult hike although it’s a bit of a climb with steep steps. There are ample rest stops along the way. At the start of the hike there are horses for rent who can take you halfway up to the cafe. Watch out for horse droppings along the way. Once you get to the monastery, there’s a locker to keep your belongings and no photography is allowed inside. Best to start the hike early in the morning as it gets warm and sunny towards the late morning.

Tiger's Nest, or Paro Taktsang, is a prominent Buddhist monastery in Bhutan. Perched on the cliffside of the Paro Valley, it is one of the country's most famous landmarks and spiritual sites. ### Key Facts: 1. **Location:** Paro Valley, Bhutan. 2. **Elevation:** Approximately 3,120 meters (10,240 feet) above sea level. 3. **Founded:** In 1692 around the cave where Guru Padmasambhava meditated in the 8th century. 4. **Significance:** Guru Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche, is credited with introducing Buddhism to Bhutan. Legend has it that he flew to this location on the back of a tigress, which gives the monastery its name. 5. **Architecture:** The monastery is a complex of temples built into the rock face. It includes multiple buildings with intricate designs and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. 6. **Access:** The monastery is accessible via a challenging hike, often taking about 2-3 hours to reach the top. There are resting points and a cafeteria halfway up the trail. 7. **Pilgrimage Site:** It remains a significant pilgrimage site for Buddhists and attracts tourists worldwide for its spiritual importance and breathtaking scenery. ### Visitor Information: - **Best Time to Visit:** Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) for the most pleasant weather. - **Preparation:** Due to the altitude and the strenuous nature of the hike, it's recommended to be in good physical condition, carry water, and wear appropriate hiking shoes. - **Regulations:** Visitors should be respectful of the religious significance of the site. Photography inside the monastery is usually prohibited. Tiger's Nest offers a blend of cultural heritage, spiritual insight, and natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination in Bhutan.

We set off from our hike at 750am and it took us about 2 hours to reach Tiger's Nest from the carpark - basically everyone at that hour was moving upwards towards the same destination and was super encouraging to spur each other on. It is definitely not an easy climb but it is important to take time to rest and recover and not give up! You will eventually make it to the destination! When we started to descend at about 1030am after visiting the monastery, it was getting quite crowded with groups on their way to Tiger's Nest. Am glad that we started early to avoid the crowd.

One of the best treks I’ve been to, the place was really breathtaking. It’s situated on top on a mountain, the calmness and cold on the top of mountain/temple felt really good. You’ll be allowed into the temple if you buy tickets. It’s 1000 rs each.

Amazing place to see in Bhutan. It is a little difficult to climb about 35 minutes until the cafe where you can have a rest enjoying the beautiful view. Second part is mostly stairs 1000 down and up. Final step you will visit a beautiful temple. If you visiting in winter it is recommended to take a warm socks

Amazing hike to the most beautiful monastery in Bhutan. Loved and enjoyed every bit of the hike. The hike is 5km one side and includes 700 steps to reach the monastery. Be prepared to feel the heat on the stairs while going back to the base point of Taktsang. If you are in Paro then Paro Taktsang is must for amateur hikers.

If you are planning a visit to Bhutan and are in normal health then the trek to Paro Tatsang (Tigers Nest) is a must. A divine experience indeed. You should go with a guide who can tell you about the history behind the temples on top of the cliff and also help you in procuring the entry tickets. A trek of moderate difficulty but certainly doable

Visiting Paro Taktsang was an unforgettable experience. The hike was challenging but incredibly rewarding, offering stunning views of the Paro valley. The monastery itself is a sight to behold, perched precariously on the cliffside. The intricate architecture and spiritual atmosphere were truly awe-inspiring.

Beautiful hike, i don’t remember exact how long the journey was (took to many breaks). Make sure to bring jacket since inside the monastery is vert cold. The final stairs to walk to the monastery is painful and tired but its worth a lifetime experience! Make sure you have water (or you can buy at the middle point rest stop, this rest stop has food, mid point of the hike, very nice view of the monastery from here too.

A never forgetting experience. The trek is small but energy consuming. Specially for first timers. But the walk is worth doing. At mid way there is a café for resting and you can get great view and picture. Over all the experience is amazing.

Amazing walk to the top . Can be hard at times so take it slow and consider using a walking pole. The return journey and visit takes about 5 hrs make sure you have sufficient water with you . Take your picture from the view points on the way as you need to lock up all your bags and CANNOT TAKE ANY PHOTOS AT THE TOP EVEN OF THE OUTSIDE.

Must do trek in Bhutan. This is difficult, more than 6kms one way, more than 500 meters climb. But the accomplishment is unbeatable. The track is neat and clean, don't take the long route through which horses travel, that is dirty with horse poop. But the shorter route through which horses do not travel is beautiful. Great mountain views along the way, and lots of birds. The Zhong on the top is also beautiful and so spiritual. Highly recommend this trek.

Is one of the precious and old temple in bhutan and its 3 hour walk from the end of road point. And the view from the other side of the mountain is so spectacular. You will also come across the beautiful waterfall

This is best place I have ever visited till today.I can say it is a medium level trekking. You need to purchase ticket for visiting the Monastery. It is important to keep in mind you are not allowed to click photos and bringing shoes inside the Monastery. You don't need to carry food while hiking because there is a beautiful cafe half the way.Don't forget to carry your water bottles for saving yourself from dehydration.

One of the best experiences I have witnessed in real. The entire trek of 3.5 hrs which really was a good way to get a complete exercise to getting fit to getting to the main temple and get my inner peace in that environment, it was amazing.
