Beautiful palace and square a little off the beaten track. With the church and palace next to each other it's a nice surprise, and there's nice cafés straight off the palace and square. Just a shame they were setting up for a festival while we were there so we couldn't fully appreciate it.

Stopped by to buy some wine. Unfriendly and harsh welcome, trying to push me to buy a wine tasting and a guided tour (but only in Spanish language). No, I don't like this approach to cross sell any wine tasting. Maybe you have too many tourists visiting you and not being able to understand what good service is. Thanks for nothing.

An old family owned vineyard and manor. 7 euros for a tour which is in Spanish but they give a translation. The girl who gave the tour was super friendly and helpful. Tour is 1 hour and includes part of the manor then gardens and vineyard. We loved it. The manor is very old with lots of family history and in a lovely setting beside the old marketplace. Chance to taste some albarinho liqueur and buy some of their estate albarinho which is gorgeous. Not as minerally as some but smooth and flavoursome. 12€ a bottle. A cut above the rest in my opinion. They produce only 3000 bottles a year from their estate so it's hard to come by. Clearly they are proud of their heritage and wine and I loved that about the place. Recommended. The adjacent parts of cambados are pretty. Kept well with coffee and tourist shops. But not in your face. The rest of cambados is generic but the place is surrounded by albarinho vine fields.

Fabulous visit today! Was shown around tasted the wine from the lovely natural vinyard. Lovely gardens and woodlands A family heritage and for Peter and I a dream. Right in the middle of the village! Do not miss this a 35-40 min drive from Vigo Take a coffee in the square then make sure you take a guided tour around the palace!!! Should be in trip advisor!!!

Extremely good visit, the tour around the pazo is awesome and so informed guide about this place. Perhaps the second most beautifull square of Galicia, just after Santiago's Obradoiro Square.

We had an excellent tour and tasting of this palace converted to a city winery. Grapes are grown and used from the gardens. There is limited cask and vats on site as well. The tastings are done in one of the cask storerooms. It is a unique experience. The wines are all whites, including a very special limited edition sold only in magnum bottles. The tour was in Spanish and fortunately translated by our teacher who was leading the tour. Be sure to make a booking for a tour. Very limited WC facilities.

My wife and I spent an enjoyable 45 minutes wandering through the palace plus it's vineyard and orchard. The self-paced tour uses an app. Numbered signs along the way tell you which recording to listen to. It works. I didn't find the history of the families associated with the palace very interesting and was disappointed that the grounds weren't better maintained.

A relaxing place to stroll until you come to a bar which serves fresh, tasty mussels and then it's time to relax with a glass of the wine of your choice and people watch for a while.
