It
is
not
often
I
feel
compelled
to
leave
a
review,
but
what
a
gift
to
return
to
Pontevedra
to
see
this
place
has
opened.
From
the
moment
you
enter,
to
walking
out
the
door,
every
moment
in
this
trattoria
feels
intentional.
The
service
was
warm
and
bright,
the
interior
felt
light
and
inviting.
We
started
the
meal
with
carpaccio
and
ensalada
latina.
The
carpaccio
was
the
best
I’ve
ever
had,
I
could
easily
eat
this
plate
for
lunch
day
after
day.
You
can
tell
they
give
great
attention
to
the
quality
of
the
ingredients
which
naturally
elevates
each
dish.
This
is
immediately
apparent
in
the
basket
of
bread
and
grissini
that
is
placed
on
the
table.
For
the
main
plate
I
had
the
gnocchi
alla
calabrese.
A
simple
dish
of
classic
flavors,
much
as
the
restaurant’s
name
suggests,
but
something
happens
between
the
sourcing
of
ingredients
and
their
preparation
that
spins
magic
on
the
plate.
Taking
lunch
here
was
a
reminder
of
the
great
joys
of
eating.
Do
yourself
a
favor
and
go
to
Semplice
if
you
are
ever
given
the
opportunity.
