Really nice museum. Well organized. English available for everything. The archeology wing with it's bronze age hoardes is a must see. It was free, too.

Gem of a place. The main building itself is beautiful, merging seamlessly with its surroundings, and the exhibitions- both the permanent collection of Galician art and the exhibition of Jose Solla’s work were great. Wonderful way to spend a good few hours! Oh yes, and it’s free! Do not miss.

Unusually comprehensive exhibits beautifully curated, captioned, and displayed. Accommodation is made made for several languages. This was a delightful surprise to discover in a relatively small town. Worth several hours.

Great museum and must-visit if you’re visiting the city. Nice collection of Galician and Spanish art from mid-centuries till our date, great modern art exhibition. The entrance was free of charge, and the staff speaks perfect English

Very friendly and highly motivated staff. Great museum about the history of the region and city. Absolute recommendation. The exhibition is very extensive. Entry is free. This is a great offer from the city, it's a shame that there aren't more options like this. A big thank you to the city administration. Families in particular should be given free or very reduced entry prices.

This museum is free...they could charge €10 and I would gladly pay. Spend two hours here and enjoy the superb architectural spaces of this museum. The art and archaeology exhibits are well displayed. I personally enjoyed the neatly-stacked pile of bronze age axe heads, displayed as they were found... still awaiting transport to God knows where.

Some interesting exhibitions. A very interesting building. Nice modern art. Would have liked to spend more time but the kids were getting bored.

I've paid for much less interesting museums, and this one is free. Friendly staff, nice Galician and non-Galician art, and plenty of things to that might take up to 2 hours. If you are visiting Pontevedra, visiting Museo Provincial is a no-brainer.

If you are interested in Galician art then this is museum is for you. We enjoyed the temporary exhibition of "pop-up" art and books. Free admission.

Especially nice temporary exhibition about a photographer, brought to life with many 3D reconstructions. Many nice art pieces in the permanent exhibition, as well.

I'm a history buff by nature. This place had so much I appreciated and I learned more than I could have by just reading about it in a book. The city is full of such education. I was beyond impressed. This vacation has been so good despite the rain. Yeah, it's been raining for almost a week but the museum is a wonderful place to visit on a rainy day. I seriously enjoyed it.

A great local museum with many regional paintings and sculptures in a gorgeous building. We went back a second day and loved even more. This is a must visit in Pontevedra.

A great provincial museum within a brilliantly designd building where you look out into the streetlife of modern Pontevedra. I really appreciated the local archeological collection and the local art. Well worth a visit.
