Staff are excellent; friendly professional helpful. Hotel is lovley and clean. Beds comfy. Only downside is disabled room beds are really low making it extremely hard for me to get off and for this reason I won’t be returning.

A very disappointing visit to this Premier Inn, upon discovering a leak in the shower unit I reported to reception, I was informed that it would be rectified. After being out all day my family and I returned to our room expecting the problem to resolved. The next day when we again used the shower to our surprise it was still badly leaking and unfortunately before we could prevent it, our young child slipped badly on the floor. Trying to raise complaint is extremely difficult and not easy and after continuously pushing stating that I will escalate the matter, eventually after 15 days we had a response. No one enquired as to how our young child was or even offered an apology. We did receive a refund for our room but again with no formal acknowledgment of what had happened and again no apology. A real disappointment, I think the time has come to say goodbye to Premier Inn and instead look at Holiday inn who seem to offer a far better service.

Really sorry the actual hotel is brilliant. Location is far out from any eating places. Desperately went next door to the pub, really dirty and smelly. Then had to return there the following morning breakfast. Really want a hotel with on site breakfast. Not the pub next door. Sorry not one for us.

The accessible room was a little on the small side for anyone using a wheelchair. The lowered bath with shower over it was perfect for my needs. As usual, the bed was very comfortable.

The staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean accessable as my wife has mobility issues. One thing to remember is the food venue is not part of the Premier Inn but a separate company. The only issues we had with our stay was food related so nothing to do with here

The only redeeming feature of this hotel is the staff on reception - they are all very friendly and welcoming. Otherwise, it was a total disappointment. You usually know what to expect with a Premier Inn hotel: comfy beds, a decent breakfast, a reasonable room in a safe setting. However, the room was cold and I couldn't get the thermostat to make it any warmer. My room was not cleaned once during my five day stay. There was also a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the halls. The breakfast here is appalling. Instant coffee sachets and a jug of hot water, with no proper coffee. The buffet was under a heat lamp and not replenished which meant rubber eggs. The fruit option was a few green bananas. Staff were hoovering on arrival. Don't pay £10 for the experience!

I was very impressed with this hotel, we had a really warm welcome on arrival and walking into our room it felt fresh and clean. Was nice to have a window that you could actually open. Some of the pillows felt like they needed to be replaced but beds were very comfortable. Shower was powerful with shower gell included. Breakfast was a little disappointing compared to normal continental Premier inns breakfasts I've had before. Porridge was just in little sachets, no fruit salad and just a pot of filler coffee with no coffee machine.

Very welcoming staff at reception and the rooms are very good. The restaurant next to the hotel has a good range of food. Thank you to Abbey at the hotel reception for welcoming us when we arrived. Highly recommended staying here.

We have stayed here a few times now. On our first visit we were given a complimentary beer which was lovely. Rooms are always clean and well presented. Great to have a pub right next to it as well

Something I am coming to find with Premier Is that a lot of them don't have air conditioning and this is one of them. The room was too warm and the only way to cool it was to open the window which meant I was woken up at 2am by some people arguing in the car park 🤦 Apart from that it would have been 5 stars, staff polite and welcoming, room clean, spacious with a comfy bed. Bathroom fairly new and clean. What more do you need for the price they charge.

Plenty of parking, helpful staff, familiar pub brand/chain for dining at great value. I would happily stay here again

The staff were lovely, helpful and welcoming. The room was big enough for me, my parnter and our son.

We had a lovely overnight stay while we visited nearby attractions as a family. A few days before our stay I received a phone call from a member of staff to confirm our booking and check our plans and arrival time. (We were visiting the Space Museum and Twycross Zoo.) When we arrived at the hotel there was a handwritten postcard welcoming us, also there was some colouring sheets and puzzles for my son with a space and animal theme, they had left some colouring crayons and an astronaut certificate for him. We were so delighted to have such a personalised stay and would definitely return again.

We stayed here for one night as we were in Leicester for a wedding. All the stuff we're friendly and very helpful and made us feel welcome. Will definitely stay here again if in Leicester.

Wow what can I say , we stayed over the weekend and when we arrived , we was greeted by friendly staff at the reception, they gave us all the information we needed of local pubs and shops in the area , has we came to leicester to spend time with family , the room was clean and smelt nice , towels were fluffy and everything we needed for a nice cuppa after a long journey and when we ran out the staff were more than happy to get us more , the bed was so comfy and big with a tv to watch while you chill from the day ….. all in all was a great hotel

Really nice rooms, lovely staff including celine and sharna, really friendly and outgoing people would definitely recommend to stay at this premier inn if you really want a good place to stay including good company.

Rooms are clean sadly no air con so the room was stiflingly hot even with the fan provided. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great location for the pleasure beach and a tram ride away from the town centre.

Was blown away by everything. The rooms are spotless and so quiet. The mattress is perfect! Room was getting a little warm but i asked reception for a fan and 5 minutes later the lady from reception was there with one for us. The breakfast was €9.50 and kids eat for free. It's a buffet style with a continental included. The bar were breakfast is served is lovely and cosy and has a great little play area for kids to go and enjoy themselves. All in all we were really impressed and 100% will use this hotel again

This version of a Premier Inn was conveniently positioned for a brief family visit with a tempting 'change date of arrival' offer that should be universal to all accommodation providers in the current Covid haunted landscape. Reception was efficient. The building was standard brand with serpentine, characterless corridors leading to equally characterless rooms. Clean enough but never really spotless. Continental breakfast, similar to the promised range of options, was presented in the almost adjoining pub backed by music; too loud to ignore, to dull to be listened to.

Easy to find, well signposted. Cameras in car park, which was good as we were in my husbands work van. Smiley welcome at front desk and very friendly/helpful team. Rooms as expected from PI, powerful shower with a full length bath. Tea and coffee facilities. Only down side was no air conditioning, although a fan was provided which helped. Room seemed to like being between 27 and 28 degrees which would be great in the winter, wish hotels would allow you to fully open windows. Nice and quiet location and just a hop, skip and a jump to the nearest stop for buses into Leicester City Centre, which was around a 20 min journey. The Ivanhoe Trail is nearby, did a lovely 4 mile walk, path is tarmaced all the way and a Brook runs closeby on the majority of the Trail. I also detoured off to Roman Way. Lots of butterflies and a few rabbits and horses seen along the way. Would have no issue with staying here again.

Really lovely Premier Inn with friendly helpful staff. Cant fault our stay, our room was great and the car park was a good size and easy to find. We will be staying here again!

Very comfortable bed, nice room though bathroom too small, great breakfast and friendly and very helpful reception staff.

Somewhat ageing 1980s building almost attached to a large tired dining pub. But great staff and the usual comfortable beds. Perfectly adequate for a good night's sleep (unless weather is hot, since no air con) and a guilty fried breakfast. Conveniently near the M1 and the excellent National Space Centre.

We were a group 02 12 including 2 children. We had to attend a engagement ceremony in Leicester early next morning on Bank Holiday Monday. Everything from start - booking the rooms to the time we checked out was 5 stars. The reception staff ( sorry I forgot his name even though he had given me his name) was very accommodative and made sure that he allocated all 7 rooms next to each other. And it was service with a smile. The room rates were most reasonable, the rooms very clean & spacious. We knew that this venue does not have air conditioning but each room was provided with a fan. The day we stayed there was quite hot and the fans were most appreciated. Thank you very much Premier Inn... Keep up the good work.

We have stayed in this hotel before, but not since lockdown. Very good room , pleased to see showers are now fitted instead of baths. Room was very clean. Evening meals in the pub next door.

Staff friendly & helpful. Room adequate, functional & bathroom basic. No shaver socket in bathroom but plenty of USB sockets in the room. Warm, heating but no air conditioning (August, start of heatwave). Ground floor room, reluctant to have window open for ventilation. Breakfast a big disappointment. Poor selection for continental breakfast, no fresh fruit & sachets of instant coffee - in 2022! Certainly not good value, felt more seaside boarding house than the usual Premier Inn standard (albeit sub-contracted to pub chain). Convinent for my work trip but that's it.

We realised that there was no air conditioning at this Premier Inn. However, what we didn't expect, with an outside temperature of 22 degrees, that the room would be a whopping 32 degrees! The token gesture of a fan didn't help. The situation could have been improved during the course of the day (before our arrival) by the staff keeping the curtains closed and the door to the corridor (which was cooler) open. Wost nights sleep ever!!!

Room clean and comfortable bed. Don’t bother with the breakfast. Worst I’ve had in any of this type of hotel! Not even a proper coffee machine on offer. Stale pastries. Really, really poor.

Premier Inn, does what it says on the tin. Good rooms, fair price, good parking with CCTV. Food in the pub next door is ok but not great. Good family pub with 7 day a week carvery. Worth a stay.

This was a hotel of luxury. It was peaceful, safe, practical. You already had tea making in the room & it's own public toiletries; they wouldn't be accidentally stolen like in past times.

One of the friendliest, most helpful & accommodating hotels. Reception staff were outstanding & go the extra mile. We Stayed over Easter Break & the staff even gave out Easter eggs to the toddler we had with us We couldn’t fault the amenities, restaurant close by. Our stay was faultless

For a budget hotel, best I've ever stayed in. Evening meal in the building adjacent, the only eatery for miles. I had to ask a member of staff to clean the table again as there was a greasy film. I then scrubbed the table with serviettes to get the dirt off. The meal was mediocre. The least I say about the the breakfast the better. It was horrible. I'd have given 5 stars but for the very very poor 1 star greasy cafe.
