They refused to exchange a pair of trainers which i bought a few days ago and wore just ones. I've got the receipt and the box. These ''Nike'' s literally hurt your ankle. Don't buy these and would not advise you to buy anything form there. They violated my rights to return the trainers. They were also very rude.

Brought a pair of nice white kangol trainers a week ago and i asked for a size 5. but after wearing them, i did not notice that they had given me one shoe ACTUALLY bigger than the other and i was given one size 8 shoe and one size 5 shoe! Of course i felt so annoyed. I then went back to sports direct and they said there was nothing that they could do because they had been worn and I even said to them the member of staff has sold me one shoe bigger than the other, what do you expect me to do with them!! And they just kept saying I'm really sorry but we can't exchange or refund because they were worn and i really honestly thought they were size 5s. I just then said this is absolutely ridiculous and walked straight out! I just felt furious and at the fact the member of staff didn't even notice they were odd either when they were sold to me. I am never shopping for shoes there or returning there again.

Very helpful, worth the money and lots to choose from

Me and my partner were upstairs and took over 10 mins before a staff memeber was in sight, despite going downstairs to ask for help to which nobody did. When someone did eventually show up, I twice asked for a pair of football boots in size 12, not once did they look in the back or in the shop, was more of a can't be arsed to look attitude. I settled for a pair I found in size 12, and waited at the till for another 10 mins with nobody in sight. In the end we had enough, put the boots back and decided to look elsewhere, staff are lazy and have no get up and go about them. Would rather spend my money somewhere else if that's the standard in this store.

Stairs to womens dept were filthy. Prices do not match website. For this I will shop online.

I called all morning and no answer at all, which is pathetic, when I went in anyway they were helpful and had exactly what I wanted in plenty of sizes.

Good sports stuff and cheap but can't stand the owner or how he treats his staff. Wouldn't shop there if I could afford full price, but I only go in about once a year

Dreadful service .. I went in store to purchase an adidas t shirt and the price was quite clear on the label however when I got to the till I was told the price had gone up and I would have to pay more even though the t shirts were all out at that price ! The gentleman assistant was awkward and rude and I was told he didn’t have to charge me the same as the ticket - he could withdraw the t shirts from sale if he liked .. jobsworth I’m sure and unlawful ! Disgusting !

One of the items on my order never showed up. I sent emails, spoke on the online chat, spoke via Twitter and they weren’t prepared to do anything about it. Basically saying that it was sent out by them and that was that! The worst customer service I have ever received. Avoid this company and anyone who uses Evri as their courier at all costs!!! Be warned.

Worst experience ever by one of the staff upstairs whilst browsing through the clothing. Told us to put the items back in a proper place in a very unprofessional way eventhough I was still looking for the right size for me. Is it the customers who arrange and put the products in the right way or the staff? Literally it was so unprofessional

Went into nuneston store bought a sol cal jacket for my sons birthday hanger said xxl when I got it home to wrap it was only xs staff not paying attention to stock or when they serve

Visited today, one person trying to help a multitude of customers in the shoe section. Asked a female for assistance, she radioed someone. Waited quite sometime but the guy never came over, despite being advised a second time by the lady. So, I went to the counter with my query, unfortunately the young girl really didn't seem bothered and had to make an enquiry (on the radio once more) after being prompted by me. Left without buying after being told what was on the shelves was what they had. There was no inclination to check though. NOT YOUR GREATEST DAY OR DEMONSTRATION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SPORTS DIRECT.

4 in queue, no one at til, had to leave without making purchase due to time constraint. Also slipped on metal shelf type unit lying on floor which i did not see as looking at clothes. To be fair, reported and a member of staff removed it straight away, although should not have been there in first place.

Got all the bits I needed for camping and hiking at a cheaper price than go outdoors and other various camping shops ,nice sport shop that ain't too expensive in this day and age, got a beautiful pair of hiking boots for £30 and they was nearly double the price elsewhere.

I visited today, and saw a gentleman who wasn't looking very happy, after speaking to him found out he's got 10 different jobs to do on his own and he was very stressed about it all, so after watching him do his jobs helping everyone i wanted to give him and the lady on the podium a boost because they're going above and beyond to keep the store running smoothly. If they could get some positive feedback that would be muchly appreciated 🙂

I visited yesterday from London and was buying some comfortable shoes as advised by my PT, the person that was working in the downstairs shoe department was extremely helpful and insightful beyond compare. They managed to set me up with some nice running shoes paired with gel infused insoles, amazing customer service!

After visiting the Ventura store, which was a dismal experience and not the stock in any choice or size we were after, we still needed to purchase swimwear. We went dubiously into the store at Nuneaton expecting the same, and headed upstairs to the right department. We were acknowledged by friendly staff in other departments along the way, and we found our swimwear, there were plenty of styles and sizes (we buy regularly). We thought we had better go downstairs to pay, which seemed the norm by now even though there were tills and staff upstairs. A young man arranging stock nearby, walked over to us and said he could take those to the till and put them through straight away, no problem. He was pleasant efficient and we had a bit of friendly banter before we left. We were pleased with our purchases and the visit to the store was a pleasurable experience and a surprise, as most of our experiences with other stores have been sub standard to say the least. Well done the team at Nuneaton keep it up, we will be back.

Like lots of the comments, staff are rude and clearly unhappy. Visited the Nuneaton branch for trainers. Staff for shoes was making it verbally clear he was not happy about "all of Nuneaton wanting trainers " as he put it and made myself and other customers feel uncomfortable. It's was really bizarre. He made a fair point they were busy and short staffed and he was trying to serve customers whilst unpacking the delivery. I feel sorry for the fact there is no standard for customer service. And I would think that the staff are underpaid, work in poor conditions and don't get the recognition they derserve. That said, no excuse for being rude to people. Fantastic great range for the grand children, they ran the staff round in rings

It's an OK shop but there are not many good trainers there are some OK shoes for things like school and work the service is quite slow. Ontop of this there is inconsistent amount of sizes for clothing items like a back jacket is in all sizes but only in like medium in a blue jacket

What a lovely bunch of staff Sports direct Nuneaton have in this store, I found them to be polite & ultra helpful, I even asked one guy if the trainers I had picked up would be liked by my 14 year old daughter. He was most helpful. Thank you

This store is dirty, and some of the staff are vile!. If you don’t like working at this store LEAVE don’t take it out on customers who are asking you to serve them because we were waiting while you stand around having a conversation! Very rude staff on ground floor and the place just looked like a jumble sale. Didn’t even get an apology for the way we was spoken to.
