Just wanted to share some useful information since I had a hard time finding or getting any information from ICE. You’re able to drop off money and a bag of clothes to your loved one the day they’re being deported Make sure you arrive at the location by 6 a.m. Don’t take the entire family as they may only allow 2 persons to enter the building. Make sure you take a valid ID! Make sure the bag of clothes is not more than 40 pounds. Consider a small 20 pound gym bag. That’s just me! If you’re going to give them money maybe 200-300 to be on the safe side. It can be dangerous on their journey. A couple of items not allowed that I can remember. No electronics. I believe you can give them a cellular phone. I’m not to sure since my family member had a phone on them when detained. No liquid items No food. No sharp items Hopes this help! And God bless them!

How are these scumbags able to stalk their prey to box them in for arrest. Isn’t IL deemed a sanctuary state?? How is this lawful. They use grimy tactics and lie. ICE should be abolished!

Wait for your family members to come out to look at you for the last time. ALSO IF YOU CAN LOOK AT YOUR FAMILY WITH JUST A REGISTRATION ID, NOTHING HAPPENS. You don't need a state ID... after you get to the border there are places that help... they give you free food and they can help you get a bus ticket for half the price... good luck it's very ugly look at your dad, son, daughter, mom, grandparents, wife, husband being deported.....
