First time ordering. We used their website to see prices. We place our order & then was shocked to hear it was a $54 order. What the heck!? I mean seriously update your website. It take a few minutes. I use to run & maintenance my own website, so I know you can do it in 5 minutes. That alone soured our first thoughts. We order the fries. What a HUGE disappointment & NOT WORTH $. I seriously could have bought a frozen bag of oven fries, for what received. I could have seaoned it better, myself. It was just fried & not even salted & the portion was much smaller then the container it came in. So it was a dispointing shock once we opened the box. My pizza was a mushroom and pepperoni. It was okay. I personally dislike when they place topping under the chesse because the mushrooms don't have that cooked taste I like (too wet for my liking). The cheese and pepperoni was under cooked (see photo) you can tell that it is just wet and not crispy.The pizza sauce was great! The crust was lack luster & just like every other dry thin crust, to me it felt like pre-made dough. Blah. The rest of the family enjoyed a meat lover. My kids disliked the crust. My husband loved it. They too loved the sauce (5 star). Over all we felt dispointed because of the bait and switch of the website prices & the fries were just gross & a waste of money. It's pretty bad when the kids won't eat the fries and only have one slice of pizza. I am giving 4 stars because I don't think it's fair if I post lower. This place just isn't what we like, & that is okay. We have our favorites places that are more for their value & they make fries in house. Awesome pizza sauce though!! I personally wouldn't go back. My husband might he loved the crunch of the crust. Update next morning: Both my husband and I are sick to our stomachs. The kids who didn't have but one slice, are fine. It could be a horrible coincidence. 😕

Awesome bartenders, cool and cozy atmosphere. Love their drinks and pizza! Try the pizza you won’t be disappointed. The best pizza I have ever had. Check this place out! By the way our bartender Kelly is so sweet and very passionate about her job. Definitely be back.

Awesome pizza - I order extra thin and crispy - Get the Midway sausage and pepperoni - Great staff and locals too!

Great neighborhood bar with class, pizza, food, great drinks, outside seating and local live bands. My boyfriend's band has played here and it's always a good time. There is a small place to dance too. Owners and manager are friendly and mingle with the patrons. No need to go into the city when you've got a place like this right in your own backyard.

UPDATE 6/5/23 Waterworks has corrected the issue I was having with getting my orders wrong. I order every week, and my order has been correct every time. I'm so glad because I really like their pizza. Thank you, Waterworks, for hearing me. UPDATE: 04/7/23 I stand by my previous review, but I'm lowering the service to 2 stars. While it's still the best tasting pizza in the Berwyn/Lyons area in my humble opinion. They never get my pizza order right. I order pizza almost every Friday from Waterworks, and I'm never disappointed with the flavor or quality. I often order all pepperoni and half sausage, and I always get half pepperoni and half sausage. I usually don't complain. I just keep it and enjoy it, but after so many times of not getting what I asked for, i decided to complain. I can understand a mistake once or twice, but every time!! I can't understand why they always get it wrong. I mean, there must be some kind of language barrier with the chef. A few times, when ordering, I've mentioned "please. make sure it's all pepperoni and half sausage because last time it wasn't. " I'm assured that they'll make sure, and the still arrives as half and half. ‐-----‐--‐---------‐-------------------------------------- Original post: In my opinion Waterworks serves the best pizza in the area. I love this place they have really great pizza and amazing wings. they also have specials that you can't beat. I definitely recommend for you to stop in. Definitely an awesome place to chill.

Went to a Halloween party here last Saturday and we had a blast! They had a nice big room for the party, great food and the servers and bartender were super cool! Will definitely be coming back.

A friend suggested the taco pizza. Taste is similar to a bar pizza and overpriced: 21 for an individual pizza. There are definitely smaller moms and pops pizzas for a better taste and quality around the neighboring area. Another issue encounted was placing the order online. We arrived on time but were told that the order was not ready. Even if you place an online order you need to call the place to verify the order is accepted and started. They said it is a system problem, yet the establishment should contact the customer to verify the order goes through prior to accepting payment. The clerk was not very apologetic and blamed it on us for not calling. Tried it once, but don't plan to return.

I just had a Breast Cancer benefit for my girlfriend there on Saturday the 2nd and words can't even describe on how wonderful Waterworks was to do this with!! From helping to decorate to the amazing bartender and bar backs for running there butts off to make sure everyone was taken care of!! You guys Rock!! Thank you for helping make this amazing for my friend!! Please book your next event with them you won't regret it!!!! They are amazing!!!

I’ve lived in Lyons for 20+ years and never had this but wow this is one of the best pizzas I’ve had. The thin crust is phenomenal and so is the service I feel welcomed the few times I’ve called for pick up. Highly recommend everyone to try this.
