I went with my family to watch Spider Man. Could not enjoy even a sec of the movie, we were in theatre 14 and we went for the 10:30 show the whole time the lights were on and we couldn’t enjoy the movie at all. I went and told the staff 3 times to switch off the lights but they said yes but never turned them off. Waste of my money. I am attaching pics and videos too. I want a full refund in this.

It's been about 2 years since I've been here and it's definitely gone down hill. It smells old and musty, almost like a nursing home. It's filthy. I used hand sanitizer to scrub the table trays. The bathroom isn't kept up, the walls inside the stalls have stuff all over them. The food is super over priced and very underwhelming. Portions are very small. The "large" drink is at best a size medium, but the price of a large. Sad to see such a nice theater turn into this. You'd think being that it's Yorktown, it'd be kept up

Not sure why Dine-In is in the name since they pretty much consistently screw up that part. The kitchen isn’t even open until 12:00PM on weekends despite having show times at 11 AM. What kind of idiots do they have in charge of this place that thinks that’s a good idea? Even when the kitchen is open, they usually don’t have 1/2 the menu available. The theater itself is fine, great seats and having the bar is a nice option but don’t go there expecting much more than popcorn and candy most of the time.

They do not have food other than tater tots. They do not allow ordering from your seat. They do not allow ordering from the app. None of this is mentioned when buying tickets. The staff is non-communicative. Even after ordering food and drinks and eventually being told out order would be brought to the seat, they only brought the food and sent us back to the counter to go get the drinks we could have just waited for. This used to be a great theater, now they don't even try.

This review includes a section about the IMAX 3D experience! *SUMMARY (If you wish to not read all of the review, here's a quick summary): The theater is very stylish & clean, with all of the food & drink stands placed around the walls of the main lobby so you can easily walk to and from each one. Although food is only served later in the afternoons, you have a wide variety to choose from & can eat the food during your movie. The staff here is friendly & helpful, helping you get along with your day. The massive Imax 3D screen here is amazing for intense or visually stunning action movies, with the seats also being comfortable & large. *IMAX 3D Experience The Imax screen here is MASSIVE, which is the amazing part of the experience. If you're looking to watch a movie in Imax, be aware that it's best for ones with lots of action or stunning visuals (such as Avatar: The Way of Water). The sound systems here are also loud but crisp, so you can actually feel the bass during intense action scenes but better relate to the characters during somber ones due to the superb sound quality. The seats are also large and padded, which differs from other Imax screens as they usually have smaller, less comfortable seats. The seats here can even slightly recline, but there are no foot rests & the seats can only recline so far. As per the 3D, the experience is subjective to each person. I personally did not have any side effects & absolutely loved how the characters on the screen were popping out, but it may not be the same for you. (There is a picture of the screen from the back of the theatre included!) *Appearance/Design Upon entering, you're greeted with vibrant & stylish colors. You have concession & food stands on the walls of the theater to give you as much room as possible to maneuver around. As this theater was recently renovated, it looks much better than it used to. Everything is set up neatly & organized, so you won't get stuck behind lines in the middle of the walkway & can grab a drink from the bar if needed. *Food/Concession BE AWARE that meals are not served in this theater in the mornings. You will only have basic concessions such as popcorn, nachos, & drinks. Later in the afternoon, you have a wide variety of foods to choose from (check the menu to see all the foods!). As this is a Dine-In theater, you'll be ordering the food beforehand and receiving the food to eat during the movie. I'm unable to say how the food was as I unfortunately came in the morning. *Staff Service All of the staff here were friendly & focused on the job. At the front one of the staff accidentally dropped a pair of 3D glasses on the floor, but gave us a new one free of any charge. We got through the concession stands quickly & were even said goodbye too when we were leaving!

Easy and quick to check in, bathroom sinks are pretty cool because they have Dyson 2 in 1 faucets. Only complain would be that previews lasted forever to start the actual movie ~ 20 mins. Besides that I enjoyed the reclining seats and the layout of each theater.

A great theater with comfortable seating. The lines a little long for time to order anything before your movie. So definitely arrive earlier then usual if planning on getting food and drinks. Very clean and the staff is friendly. Overall a great experience and would recommend this theater.

The seating is spacious and comfortable. I had the pretzel bites, which were warm, crispy, and came with cheese sauce & honey mustard. The wait for soft drinks was 10 minutes. The theaters were fairly clean, though a bit more attention to wiping down trays and cup holders wouldn't be amiss. The temperature was moderate, it was hot outside. Restroom were fairly clean, particularly for a movie theater. I will definitely go again.

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time, and there was an issue with our showtime so the staff offered us a refund or exchange for another movie. Every single staff member was so helpful and friendly, my girlfriend and I felt well taken care of. Despite our original show being cancelled, the staff and management went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience the moment we entered the building. The manager even remembered our original dining order and had our food served to us once we sat down for our movie. We appreciate the staff and will be returning soon

Movies are what we all go for, so I'm satisfied. Some seats need replacing. I was in a broken one last time. The chair next to me the same. I highly suggest you eat before you go. The prices are astronomical. Roughly $100.00 for 2 senior adults. We ate 1 sandwich each, 1 appetizer and had 1 water and 1 soda, including ticket price. I'll keep going back, but I'm done eating and drinking a water here. Highway Robbery!

So I still like coming here because I love the comfy seats and food options. And it's close to my house. But. An associate that was delivering my drink spilled my entire drink on me. Which I wouldn't have cared about- stuff happens. No big deal. But he did not apologize. Did not really even make eye contact. My sister asked if he would bring some napkins and a new drink before he started just trying to leave. He said he would. Then we never saw him again. We had to go get a new drink. And go to the bathroom to try and clean off. It's whatever- but that's just really bad service.

Picture and sound quality themselves were great. Enjoyed the popcorn too. However the laser projection failed multiple times, pausing 2-3 times before the movie started. (It did not start on its own; audience members had to step out of the theater to notify people.) They were working to fix it but it didn’t start working until > 30min after the show start time. We did all get free passes but all in all it was a very inconvenient experience and I wouldn’t recommend seeing a movie on the laser projection screen until they can guarantee a projectionist is there during the show to troubleshoot issues.

I typically go to this theater because I enjoy the comfy reclining seats. It's usually clean in the theaters, though the bathrooms sometimes appear neglected and could use a good cleaning. I ordered food once and it was actually pretty good! If you want to eat during a movie rather than before or after, it's worth trying at least once. It is quite pricy for the portion sizes.

The temperature was perfect and not too cold like other theaters. The light next to the seat (which is there to make it easier for you to see your food) was bothering me since I didn't get food. It would be nice if we could turn it on or off.

I go to this theater because it's a convenient location, but it's run and staffed by teenagers who prefer to stand around with their heads in the clouds or their faces in their cell phones. More of my experiences there have been unpleasant rather than pleasant. I can only imagine how unsanitary those comfortable reclining seats are. I take the survey every time I go, which is often, and nothing has changed.

This place is starting to have a nasty smell. Dirty carpet. Seats are not clean and the screen was blurry. Previews didn’t play just the same thing over and over.

The theater is clean and seats are great. We ate a meal here for the first time and, after eating at Studio Movie Grill, were underwhelmed. The food service was fast, but portions were small and expensive for food that's only fair.

This was the first time I went to this theatre. It is a bit out of our ways, but was the only option where we could enjoy Ready Player One this late. It was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The seats were comfortable, and the theater had a modern atmosphere, and the bar and open kitchen in the lobby added a nice touch. The service was also great and especially our server who took the order was very friendly. The guy who brought out the food seemed in a bad mood though. The fidelity of the screen and sound was also good, and although it was a done-in theater, they didn't make any compromise in ambient light. This slightly increased the difficulty in eating, but made for a pleasant watching experience.

This is a great location. I enjoy coming for weekend matinee movies. Lots of free parking! The food was great, we ordered in advance to save time and it was delivered to our seats. Clean and comfortable seats. A fun time for families or couples.

Dreadful experience. They offer no help to patrons who might need assistance with the ticket machines or finding the right theater. Seniors might as well be invisible. Staff talk to each other or stare at the phones. The theaters do not answer telephone calls...ever. No emergency phone. A friend and I accidentally got locked in a mezzanine landing that had no inside handle. No one heard us call or bang on the door. We had to call the police...who, by the way, couldn't reach the theater by phone either. There are plenty of movie theaters accessible to our area. We're frequent movie patrons and Yorktown won't see our money anymore.

I’ve been going to AMC 18 for years. Lately, it’s been fairly good. Adult movie goers; You can’t order drinks from the concession stand, but drinks were pricey but strong. Menu is not posted on the overhead screen menus. Look ahead in the photos to see options with prices. You can’t order drinks from your seat.

Popcorn was old cold and stale and when asked for fresh popcorn lied stating it was just made. Thankfully a super nice server fresh popcorn when she came to bring our food. If not for her would have been a kinda bad experience. Also the loaded fries were bomb!

Dine in delivery to seat is no more. Doesn’t matter what the website says or that you specifically choose a ticket with the delivery to seat option. All lies. App ordering is disabled, online ordering is disabled, buttons have been removed 🤷🏽‍♀️ This kinda rundown theater had 2 things going for it: reclining seats and ordering from your seat. Without food ordering it’s a mediocre theater with random smells of urine.

A great place to watch latest movies in theaters while relaxing on power recliner. The power recliner is very sensitive to touch and the slightest touch of the buttons is enough to recliner or retract the same. There's a modest number of seats per row and they are well spread out. The restaurant style theater has dine in feature and a very modest menu if you are not a meat eater. In fact there are no options for vegetarian fare except Mac and cheese which is served with fries in the same bowl. By the time you eat it, it's soggy and mushy. Also the serving of Mac and cheese is meager for a grown-up and there's hardly any cheese in the mac and it tasted almost like a marinara sauce in there. The "push away" table has an odd feeling that is neither comfortable nor uncomfortable. You certainly cannot eat out of the bowl placed on the table while reclined, you need to sit up to eat.

I have been coming here since I was a teenager and remember when it was two theatres and I do miss the dine in fancy side with no kids allowed. It is a nice place to go and unwind here and there. I never ever go to movies anymore on opening nights thanks to people acting like they are two years old but it's still nice to go here and there.
