I'm not new to Pilates but since starting with Heather I can honestly say that I am new to doing pilates. Heather is hands on, insures you're using correct form and explains everything along the way. There's no gimmicky pilates stuff here. Joseph himself would approve 😁

Editing my review from 3 years ago with an update: I still go to MBS Pilates. They've added some new pilates classes besides reformer - mat, sculpt and bootcamp. If I could go every day I would. It's that great. Clean studio, knowledgeable instructors. I can't say enough good things about Heather and Ana's studio. Her instruction on proper pilates technique is excellent. My best feeling is the pleasant surprise of my clothes fitting better and I can shop for longer periods of time without my back being stiff because she's helped me develope better core and pelvic floor strength-all good things. Their equipment is up to date. It's easy to park here.

I came to the studio a couple years ago wanting to get into shape and commit to an exercise routine, and I couldn’t be happier with the community I found at MBS. Heather is amazing and the classes she offers are simply phenomenal. I have some back issues and the instructors are always able to modify exercises for me. The variety of classes offered is also a big plus. I have seen my body change, and I’m in the strongest I’ve been in in my adult life, plus my back is much better than it’s ever been! MBS has fostered a love in me for whole body wellness and I’ve never been happier! Check this place out!! You will be so happy you did!!

Need to get in shape? Need some holistic treatment? MBS Pilates can help. From body activation, cupping, lypomassage to Pilates MBS is your place. Heathers Pilates classes are group classes with an intimate semi private feel since she is so in tune with each of her clients and what our bodies need. Heather is able to give each of us goals and help us achieve them regardless of our body types, strengths and weaknesses. MBS is a clean, fun and safe place to work out or get your body and mind in a good place. I must also mention Heathers ability to work with teenage boys and allow them to work out of their comfort zones! My boys specifically like the body activation to help their bodies recover after sports and I was able to get my freshman in the studio for a class and he really enjoyed the strength and stretching!

I have been taking pilates classes at Pilates Sense for about 4 years and have developed a great deal of strength and flexibility not to mention phenomenal bone density improvement. Heather and Ana are truly gifted at what they do, have an extraordinary ability to challenge their students (sometimes without you realizing it) and continually keep classes interesting.

I found Heather at Pilates Sense when I was at the beginning of my somewhat-difficult pregnancy. I wanted to take pilates to help with some issues lingering from a previous pregnancy, and hoped to stay with it during my post-partum recovery. Heather exceeded every expectation I had going into the experience. My labor and delivery was a breeze, and my recovery could not have been smoother. I have been taking classes with Heather at least twice a week since I found her studio, and the results I have found are incredible- my core is the strongest it’s ever been, I have flexibility I have never had in my entire life, and the stress relief benefits of her classes/workouts are beyond measure for me week in and week out. I can’t recommend Pilates Sense enough!

I first discovered Pilates Sense about two years ago and have participated in their Pilates and Zumba classes. Both Analese and Heather are excellent instructors. They are supportive and friendly. Their knowledge of body mechanics, attention to detail, and sensitivity to physical limitations (joint problems, surgeries, etc.) are a huge asset for all their clients. My experience here has been very positive, and I would not hesitate to recommend Pilates Sense to anyone.

I’ve been going to Pilates Sense and working with Heather for over 6 years. I was referred to Pilates Sense by a well known and highly skilled chiropractor who told me Pilates was the best way to help my chronically bad back. Six years later we have worked on so many things and at age 53 I feel better now than when I was 30. Heather is excellent at teaching Pilates and has a gift for finding ways to help people heal and feel better.

Is it possible that my neck is pain free for the first time in a long time after my second class today? Loving it! Thanks Instructor Amy

I'm new to Pilates and it was the best decision to start in MBS studio. They have a variety of classes, they take the time to explain, to check on everybody from the class and if you need a modification they'll definitely help you. The atmosphere is incredible welcoming, you can feel the joy of Heather and last but not least, the instructors are amazing! I had the opportunity to take classes with Heather, and the 2 Amy's and they are professional, kind, patient and understanding. All of them have they own style and you'll enjoy any class you take.

10/10 recommend! I started around 5 months ago, and am both thrilled and relieved to have found this studio. I was very cautious at first, as I was about 6 weeks postpartum and still recovering from back surgery (that I had while pregnant) to treat a herniated disc. Heather was incredibly generous with her time, walking me through a very thorough health assessment & some introduction training sessions. Every class begins with the instructor checking in with each individual student, taking note of any concerns (ie, "my back is sore today"). Every single class I've been to, anytime a physical concern has been mentioned, the instructor has paid attention to that throughout the class, and provided suggestions, modifications, and/or extra cues during the movements. I highly encourage anyone interested in starting pilates to check out MBS Pilates!

Heather at Pilates sense is the best thing that has happened to my body! She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the body and its functions. I highly recommend joining any of her classes. Especially if you suffer from any pain from a sports related injury or beyond!

I was nervous about trying Pilates I had always heard it was hard. And while I definitely struggled, Amy and Heather have been amazing at walking me through everything! If I’m not quite doing a move right they have given me personal attention to help me correct it. That is one of the reasons I quit yoga was I never knew if I was doing something right but nobody ever helped. The classes are small which is far less intimidating and everyone is so friendly! So happy I tried Pilates and picked this studio!
