Cute place. Bigger inside than it looks. Hot dogs are really good. Decent size. Cheese curds were really good too. Staff was slightly less than friendly but looked like maybe a family run place and the kids weren’t too jazzed to be working the counter. Whatever the case, I’ll be back.

I've been going here for years. The hot dogs are among the best around, and the hamburgers are excellent as well Always fresh and hot. Excellent staff, too. But..unfortunately, no Orange Bang. 😂

Hot dogs are fabulous and the cheese for the fries is so good not some strange icky cheese you are given sometimes at other establishments. Definitely a hidden gem in Orland. I highly recommend and the staff is no nice and courteous. I never write reviews. But everything was so good, I had to!

I’ve been here a few times in the span of a week and it’s been delicious each time! The Maxwell polish is to die for! The prices are reasonable and you seem to get a good bang for your buck. My only suggestion is for employees to greet customers as they see them entering the restaurant because of the 4 visits I’ve made there, I was not greeted once until I got to the register (if that). Otherwise, good food at a great price AND THEY’RE QUICK which is a big plus!

The best! Simple menu. Reminds me of Jr's hotdogs from bygone days of Alsip. Hotdogs and hamburgers are perfect, authentic, delicious. Widens has a clean, friendly, small, old school vibe. If you want what most of Orland food scene has to offer: corporate, cookie cutter places like Panara, Panda Express, and McDonalds, stay on Lagrange. If you want small town, affordable food made with fresh ingredients and love, go to Widens.

I came here once with my boyfriend. It was 5pm. When they saw us coming, they locked the door and turned off the Open light. We had been here previously with no issue so this was odd. We really aren't scary-looking either... Otherwise, food is decent and prices are good.

Best dogs I've eaten in years! Widens worked out great for our party of 50 , the onions are chopped meticulously and applied liberally. Mark doesn't hold out on his Widens weiners condiments and fresh frys !

My parents and I got beef sandwiches for dinner. The kid who took our order and made the food was extremely cool; he took the time to share some history of Widen's with us, and was very hospitable. And the sandwiches themselves were to die for!! This will be our new beef sandwich joint! Great experience overall, thank you!

The best hotdogs made with fresh, quality ingredients. Tried several things from the menu and all were delicious. We stop by here whenever we are in the area and it never disappoints. I stopped in to pick up food and had my infant daughter in a carrier. The owner carried out my food to my car without being asked or with any hesitation. It was also packaged in a box so it would be stable for the ride and easy to carry home. Hospitality like that is rare and I can’t tell you how much of an impact that makes on a new mom.

I don't live in the area, but I come here every time I'm in town. Family-run place with excellent food at reasonable prices. Great dogs and Italian beef. I like to support small, local businesses and this one is easy to support.

Mark is a great host and awesome business man . These guys actually have their own hotdogs custom made and the quality is out of the park ! the best fast food hands down in Orland Park!

Great food. Hotdogs were reminiscent of juniors hotdogs and Doug's dogs. Very fair prices as well. We will definitely go back. Staff was pleasant

Love Mark and his family. Widen's hotdogs are the absolute best-taste like no other. Always fresh and delicious. We visit Widen's every Friday before riding because my daughter says, "the hotdogs make me ride faster!" Gotta love a local boy, who brings great things to the SW suburbs. You MUST go!

The customer service was great due to the young man name Nick! He was very nice and the dogs were pretty good!

Hidden gem just about a block off of lagrange road. Funnel fries were delicious. I tried a chicken sandwich the patty was a bit small but everything was fresh and tasted great, will try again. It seems like there was a line of regulars coming in and getting hot dogs, I will try that next time.
